    11:25 - Wow, out with the lot! That explains why you left those bits in last time. I've seen the frunk done before and I've seen the floor done before, but never all at once. Amazing work, thanks for sharing.

      Thank you. Just made sense to do it that way! Today I spot welded in the side members and took the floor out to prep for welding! Should be the front end finished soon!

    The phrase “basket case “ was literally invented for this car 😂 Great work👍

      I don’t know if you have seen the series on the SC we did but I literally called it a basket case in the first episode 😅

    Stunning work again, particularly around that A pillar. Looking forward to the next video. Enjoy the lovely British summer weather at the weekend 😞

      Thanks, glad you’re still loving the content! It’s been a terrible summer hasn’t it? I normally play cricket on Saturdays but can’t see that happening today

      @@classiccarrevivalsofficial yes I’m hooked on the content, the format/style is perfect - you explain the problem, show how you fabricate the metalwork and then how the repair is carried out 👍 Cricket today 😂, best grab a beer and watch F1 qualifying if you’re into that.

    Gobsmacking quality work again. Be great to know how many hours the metalwork takes to take it from where it was to where it'll be as good as new.

      Thank you 🙌🏻 I think we’ll be around the 400 hour mark when the metal work is finished. Think I’m around 250 ish in so far!

    same here - amazing and inspiring video!! but the repeating music is killing me :D
    Same 5 notes für 1/4 hour - aaahh

    I admire your work, what a craftsmanship! With so many repairs, is it still worth to repair? The costs will overgrow the worth of the car?

    • @classiccarrevivalsofficial
      @classiccarrevivalsofficial  Місяць тому +2

      Thank you. The build will likely outweigh the value of the vehicle but I don’t see why that’s a problem. When you buy a new car it depreciates and you lose money. When you join a golf club you don’t get your money back. In fact there aren’t many hobbies that cost nothing. And ultimately classic cars will likely go up in value so when the owner is done with it it may well be worth what they spend or more!

    keep the faith, its only time, money, energy, hard work, frustration, sore muscles! But it will deffo be worth it.

      Don’t forget the cuts and bruises too 🤣🤣 I really enjoy these big projects and there’s light at the end of the tunnel now!

    Looking at the whole thing so far, I think less than 50% of the original sheet metal remains. What a rotten car!
