Jade is consistently underscored. I would like to see an analysis of her routines versus other gymnasts with similar routines who got much higher scores. I mean, she's so solid, she has a great vault, great tumbling passes on floor, but somehow she's ranked 5th? Jade was the only gymnast to stick her vault landing. (What was her score, anyways? They didn't bother posting it.) And the commentary is brutal. On bars she was 'icey.' On balance beam 'these athletes don't have to put on their best routines.' On vault, 'that's pretty solid.' I mean, really, these comments are so biased and unprofessional. Meanwhile they're spending extra time on younger gymnasts who land out of bounds, and just generally aren't ready for the Paris Olympics.
@@pavlabrisudova4251 My question is why the judges don't like her. I don't understand. Plus, the judges are supposed to be unbiased, so her scores should be in line with the other gymnasts. And yes, Jade is very consistent.
@@snc4090 I agree. I was like wtf? Especially compared to her compliments for other gymnasts' performances. I found out that Jade's two vaults --a Cheng and an Amanar, were scored 14.6 and 14.375. First of all, only one vault was shown. And her scores were never posted. Those are pretty impressive numbers, and the commenters just ignored them.
I feel that routine didn’t have a good rhythm. It wasn’t smooth from one thing to the next and preparing too long for skills. She also didn’t look confident. She could have been a lot taller and showed off the routine more.
I agree 💯! However it is VERY nice to see her without wobble, but yes lacking a bit of finesse which I will say she has gotten better at but still needs more of.

That's because the US judges don't like her, she scores much better internationally. She is very consistent unlike others and always points her toes

Agree. Idk what’s going on with Samantha but her comments on Jade’s routines were so out of touch… brutal in all 4 events.
