I think a common mistake with most is assuming a viewer now has always watched your videos. Returning to the entry level stuff from time to time is a great way of giving new viewers content and reminding yourself how to do things. Great ride man
Did the Border Ranges a couple of weeks ago. (August 2024) The bridge on the Lions Road where you exited onto the dirt is in the process of being replaced , so the Lions Road is closed at that point. Gotta agree the Range is a great ride!

🇦🇺😎👍I just arrived back from a ride from Brisbane and you’ve got me all gee’d up for a ride through the mountains. I live near Boonah . Sometimes I get board so I go for a ride up border range , down through Legum , then down to Casino , up to the Gold Coast up to Archerfield then back to Boonah … Ok loop !
Awesome vid mate and great commentary throughout. I’ve lived on the NSW side near the Border Ranges and camped up at the top (took the ute), inspired to do it on two wheels now. Would love also to see a trip looping right around (north-south) to Wodenbong and down through to Kyogle, then retuning back thru the BRs via Lyons Rd. (south-north). Just on that, just chuck us a directional at the start so we can set our bearings, i.e. ‘Ok, hi… first-up heading east right now’ etc. Love your work!
Great video mate. I've been riding for many years now on road though, however I sold my cruiser and got myself a 2013 KLR gen 2 so looking forward to getting in the dirt. Thanks for that very pleasant travel through some nature, but very accessible to 'civilization' (no need for an Eper) some of us are impressed enough with the go everywhere there is a road, which is hard, perhaps corrugated, with loose gravel nearby.. that's interesting enough, and allows a great dose some remaining ecology (which we can ruin by 'over-loving' it and carving it up for "real-estate betting"). Some of us are not likely to acquire or set-up a serious dirt bike; yet videos of the stunts that are possible on suitable motorcycles helpful to some of us so we can see where to "draw a line". Thanks for showing us some of the moderate stuff; and some country; looking forward to the drone views!
I’m glad you enjoyed it Ron. Some of the best routes I know are mild dirt roads and a bit of bitumen with scenery, it certainly doesn’t need to be goat country to have a great ride. Thanks for watching mate👍
