Was great meeting you Curtis, and thanks for the positive comments and great video !
Looking forward to riding with you again 👍🏼
Absolutely my pleasure mate, keen for the next one👌
Great ride. Awesome attitude! Brilliant production... 😊
PS. The trio trip across the Simpson was fabulous to watch... huge respect to you guys for sharing n for watching each others back every step of the way. ❤ that your attitude of respecting your mates shines thru as such an awesome and inspiring positive example! 😊
Hey David thanks for the kind words mate. Yeah we all lookout for each other especially on such a big remote trip like the Simpson, at the end of the day we’re just trying to enjoy the trip and get home in one piece. Appreciate the support mate, cheers👍
They are the best group of guys to ride with. Been on quite a few with them and no matter what everyone helps each other. 👍🇦🇺💪
Couldn’t agree more mate fantastic group🙌
great video, finally I had some time to just sit down and watch so I picked your video. Loved it and loved those small jumps in the end heh
Yeah it’s hard finding time to watch everyone elses videos especially the longer ones. Thanks mate appreciate it👍
Bloody Awesome video m8 and Jeez you gotta luv the mighty DRZ hey!
Yeah mate awesome machine that’s for sure. Thanks for watching Ian👍
Great video mate as always. Some good bush and lovely scenery, awesome part of the world. Miss it.
Thanks Greg definitely blessed to have such areas nearby🙌
Two tubes..or not two tubes...that's the question...answer is three tubes. Great ride, and great trails, and better riding mates.
Hahaha absolutely, thanks for watching Garth👍
Awesome ride mate! Hello from the sunny coast! I haven’t seen Chris the tyre repair guy for agesssss, I used to ride with him back years ago, I recognized his flat track foot style!
Hi🙋♂️ Yeah he’s a super nice guy hey and sure as hell knows how to ride. Thanks for watching mate👍
At 1:48 BBA rolls into town.
Saw all you guys that morning, good group of bikes. Great video, I love the country around there. 👍
Yeah awesome mate we were just leaving as you pulled up by the looks of it. Beautiful riding out that way🙌
Great video I’m in the U.K. now but used to ride the bush trails around the Glass House Mountains and Rosewood as a teen 😉👍
Yeah nice one David, gotta love glassy heaps of great areas around the sunny coast🙌thanks for watching mate👍
Ripper, no pun intended (tubes). Looked like a top day out and you rode it well with a good supportive crew.
Good production.
Your bike and you easily handled the terrain amongst more expensive and unnecessary bigger and more expensive machines. Cool.
😂Yeah mate was an awesome day. Great people, great riding had a blast🙌thanks for watching mate👌
G,day mate , looked like a great day out , always good meeting new folks into the same stuff hey cheers wayne 👍
Absolutely Wayne, great bunch of blokes👌
Looks like a great day out with a good bunch of blokes.
It was exactly that mate👌
Great ride mate and great bunch of blokes to ride with. I was at that servo in woodenbong just a couple of days ago on a ride lol 👍
Yeah nice mate. Yep really good group, thanks for watching Jason👍
Hey dude, another awesome video mate looks like a amazing ride 👌 cheers for sharing your content a true inspiration keep up the great work you do dude your channel is awesome 👍💯🍻
Thanks Nathan appreciate it, glad you enjoyed it mate👍
Hi Curtis, yet another cracking video 👍🏻 You was unlucky with the tubes, happens to everyone. Have to say when you was tramping on through the long stuff my wife and I were a tad nervous just incase you hit a fallen tree hiding in the grass. Looking forward to the next video, stay safe mate 👍🏻
Yeah definitely bit unlucky but it’s good practice. I was a bit nervous as well haha last thing I wanted was to hit a hidden log at pace and get another puncture or worse😅 thanks for watching Shane👍
Sweet group ride, Curtis! Bummer about the tubes 😫🤦♂ Catch ya on the next one 😎👍
Yeah was still pretty fun even with the punctures😂thanks for watching Phil cheers👍
Good stuff mate, looked like a fun day out, even with the tube troubles! 😂
Sure was Josh bloody rippa🙌
Cracker ride mate, spewing about the flat and tube saga! You can't help but feel like you're ruining everyone else's ride, but these things happen. I change my own tyres and tubes at home like you, I have pinched and torn tubes using spoons, the tip of the spoon seems to go too far in and grab the tube sometimes. I changed to Ballard's ultimate levers, they are shorter, but have the perfect tip, and I haven't pinched a tube since.
Yeah mate iv only pinched a tube once with those spoons but I think I may need to upgrade them several of the other blokes were using the ones you mentioned as well. Haha definitely felt like I was ruining the ride for sure but like you said these things happen👍
Now THAT looked like a GREAT DAY RIDE 😁👌 yeah sometimes you get a knob in a group ride that thinks he is the best and does things danger es and stuffs the vibe of the ride 🫤
liked the way you edited this , stay safe mate and ride safe-ish good Sir 😉🍺
Was such a great ride mate, thanks for watching Jeff👍
16:57 Australia mate. 👋🤠👍
Give this a thumbs 👍 if you have put a hole in a new tube with levers. 😂
😂😂😂
Nothing worse when it's a brand new heavy duty tube.
Any gpx files looks like an awesome route 👌
Sorry Nathan I don’t mate half the time I had no idea what tracks we were on tbh😅
Excellent stuff mate.
Thanks Alan appreciate it mate👍
Awesome video mate, luv ya commentary even in the tricky bits!
I rode solo, about half of the same route a few weeks ago on my 2020 Honda CB500X. (The CB500X has Tubeless tires and is hell of a lot easier, when it comes time to fix a puncture!)
Once I came back through the short stretches of country dirt roads back into Kogel, I then headed back, to my home in Murwillumbah (east of Kyogel). But those back roads out around Woodenbong way look like exactly the sort of thing I'd like to have a crack at next time!
Your lead rider "Chris" ... wouldn't perhaps have a map of the route You's rode and you could maybe share?
Thanks for another of your great videos. Keep it up mate!
PS: The old cliche of "3rd times the charm" rings true again with the tubes! 😄😉
Hey Sean yeah mate it’s hard to talk sometimes when it gets intense but I do my best haha. That’s awesome cb500x is a great bike super underrated in my opinion. I don’t know if they actually had maps or if it was just from memory but the Woodenbong part your referring to is called the Glen you’ll be able to find it on google maps pretty easily and I think the road we turned onto was actually called Glen rd hope this helps mate thanks for watching👍
@@anotherguyonabike4726 Thanks heaps for the info about Glen Road. I will definitely investigate further.
The CB500X is no speed demon or true off roader, but it can definitely do pretty much anything, any other bike can do, within its limitations of speed and handling! It's a true "Swiss Army Knife" of a bike! 😃
Been using mousse for the last 50 thousand K on my ktm excf . No flats, tyres last longer. I'll never use a tube again.
Funny you should say that, one of the other blokes on the ride was telling me the same thing. Maybe I should give it a crack🤔
20:54 it's Brian mate ,,says on the screen 😅😅
You lucky buggers, oh to have trails like that in the UK. Love that fast flowing twin track with decent riders at a decent pace. Very jealous 😊
Yeah mate we are very spoilt for riding options over here, a lot of fun🙌thanks for watching mate👍
It’s a problem you often get with fb group rides. The younger guys would of just kept riding while the older guys would stop and help, or at least watch you try and fix it anyway lol.
Yeah mate everyone was keen as to help I even told them to keep going but they just wanted to chip in and help get it done👌
@@anotherguyonabike4726 luckily it was the helpers damaging each tube, because if you damaged the first one and second one yourself I think a couple might of left ya lol
@@budget-adventure 100% haha
Nice
Thanks kai
Can you do a video on your tool roll and what’s in it……I may or may not 😅 like to copy you for my DRZ s 😂😂 hehe
Haha, Yeah absolutely mate I’ll do one in the near future👍
@@anotherguyonabike4726 awesome thanks mate
26:50 fookum track is it not 👋🤠👍
Tip for putting new tubes in soak in silicone spray boys works great...shout out ariemann1 for the tip💯🤙
What a great tip, cheers legend🤙
@anotherguyonabike when it's soaked you can't even pinch it with your fingers😂 love the videos man about to start motovlogging soon my self on a bush pig🤙
@@STEELHORSEPRODUCTIONS357 yeah good on you mate, great bike to do it on as well🙌
Hats off to you mate, can’t think of anything worse than trying to change a tube in the bush in front of a crew like that! You did well, I suppose pinching another blokes tube would be worse… 😂
Yeah mate you definitely want to know your way around the tools😅bloody Brian haha he’s a top bloke so it wasn’t so bad😉
@@anotherguyonabike4726 100% Dont let me help change a tube or you will do it twice Hahahah
@@U-Have-Fun-2 😂
Talk about dads army.
😂
Thanks. Will you be putting a gpx file up on our FB page pls?
Hey Paul I don’t have one unfortunately I was just tagging along and didn’t use any navs sorry mate.
