The soundtrack is one of the game's strongest points. Really good ambient music.
These are some bangers for their ambiance tbh.
Now we're talking! Merci!
I heard that, Paul.
This is great music to listen to while writing.
I can see myself in 1996 or 1997, playing it on my PC, solving the puzzles and thinking about them while doing other stuff (no internet at that time). These musics bring me back to that time... fear, doubt, curiosity, danger. Great game!
Home (Day 1) just hits the spot for me
Oh Man this bring me so many happy memories from my childhood , I can remember the smell of new for when I opened Phantasmagoria 2 box for the first time , thanks for this 🖐🤘🤘🤘
Conversations with Curtis: Unlocking the archives of your childhood memories, one memory at a time!
@@danielalbu yep 😊😊
Major NIN vibes from the borderline and the hecatomb scenes! Good ol 90's!
I heard that, Curtis!
This and the Bad Mojo soundtrack were awesome.
Home day 1 ❤️❤️❤️
Oh man, new favorite soundtrack!
This ost really masters the art of dread.
So nice! Spinrad is the man
RIP the CD audio files that burned in the warehouse before Gary Spinrad could rescue them. I hope one day he revisits this for fun to get a decompressed version
According to him there aren’t any audio CDs with the game’s soundtrack on them…
Tell us this story!
Still wish we had these in higher quality. If only that warehouse hadn't burnt down.
Maybe Gary Spinrad will recompose it someday
Finally without all of the compression artifacts going on, even if it's simpler work, I gotta say, the apartment piano piece is really good ear training material!
Awesome!! So excited to listen throughout the whole soundtrack, especially to the Borderline music. 😅😎
Edit: Very atmospheric. It's fascinating to realize there were a handful of Unused/Unknown Tracks in Phantasmagoria 2, but aside from my enjoyment with The Borderline Club's collection of tracks, the ones which intrigue me the most were the apparently-mysterious tones when you try to dig deeper into The Lore of WynTech. That, and the detective tunes once you try to sneak past Detective Powell (that would be fun for a future interview). I also quite love how wonderful you chronologically placed each music track in order of the game's events.
Thank You, Curtis Craig. : D
Borderline day 3 is where it's at people
This is great!!!!!! Thank you so much for providing it.
Love it! Thanks Paul and Daniel, you guys are great!
I love this so much! Thank you for compiling everything here!
Awesome upload :D Thank you, Paul!
(42:28) Unknown (Wyntech)
Awesome to hear this one after playing the game for years! Sounds like it would be a good substitute for the basement theme. Or maybe the unseen dreaded 4th floor conference room! *shudders*
Yeah, the unknown/unused tracks are really good!
There are several scenes in the original script where this music would have fitted perfectly!

Thank you for the kind words!
We're glad you're enjoying our content!
Stay tuned, there's a LOT more to come!
Love this. Thank you.
Yay! This is great, thanks for uploading!
Wish it was available on Spotify so I could add it to my Video Game music playlist 🤣
You can always come back to this video, it has chapters and a tracklist in the description for easy access to each track
@@danielalbu I am saving it to my favourites right now 😊
@@danielalbu hey Daniel, does this include the storeroom track? I have been looking through the tracklist but can't find it?
@@Kruspe12 The storage room has the background music that Wyntech has in that particular day.
Or are you talking about the music that is played when Curtis is inside the hidden room?
@@danielalbu ah thank you! I will listen to all the Wyntech tracks 😊
ah yes, wyntech offices. the original liminal space.
Well played
Quite literally!
Who sings Rage? I wanted to see if it was on Spotify. I highly doubt it, but I have found super obscure songs on there before.
Borderline songs are fire 👌
I want to go to the Borderline Club.
The fourth "easter eggs" come from another Sierra game "Shivers" 😀
Wow this is great to listen to these separate from the game. You guys even included unreleased/unknown tracks!
However, it makes Trevor's Death theme even more mysterious because it's not on the soundtrack and it sounds SO different from the rest of the music. lol
Did Gary Spinrad even compose it, or did the developers realize by the end of the development cycle that they're missing a soundtrack for such a crucial scene, so they literally slapped it together on the fly on little Timmy's Casio keyboard? Spoony might've been on point with his joke about it. haha
The music tracks in this video are taken from the resource files on the game CDs.
Trevor's death theme is played only in the FMV cutscene, so it couldn't be extracted as a separate track!
But yeah, you're right, Trevor's death theme always sounded to me like some unused music from King's Quest 6 or something!
I'll contact the composer and ask him about it!
@@danielalbu Ahh makes sense, thank you for the reply Daniel! :)
The Trevor's Death scene music is different but I think that was meant to create a kind of shock to the player because it was such a crucial scene in the game and almost like a climax where you really went "oh, sh**"... I actually really like it. Back then, to get something kind of weird like that that didn't fit with the rest of the soundtrack was not really that odd, it made the scene more captivating and exciting- which I think was the goal.
I cannot find the music used on the opening of the game.
Music that was used only in the FMV scenes is not available.
@@danielalbu Ah, that makes sense. Btw, thanks for the fast reply :)
Is there a downloadable version of this Curtis?
You can download it from the Sierra Chest website:

I dont know if anyone knows what im talking but ive looking for the theme from that one scene where Trevor gets attacked and killed by wires
If anyone knows thats be great
But its ok if not, just asking
I know exactly what you're talking about.
I talked to Gary Spinrad (the composer) about that track.
Unfortunately, since that track is played only in that FMV scene and not in any of the interactive scenes, I couldn't extract it like the other tracks.
@@danielalbu Damn, well it was worth a try
but at least you've gotten further than I have searching for that track ;)
Wasn‘t there also a soundtrack when you die and see your gravestone?
*.* where can we get it track by track ?
The video has chapters and a tracklist in the description for easy access to each track

It is a bit sad that Rage is in such low quality. I don't know if it's just equalization or a different source, but there's a bit nicer version of it on youtube already: ua-cam.com/video/cz3jTR9gJ14/v-deo.html
Unlike the rest of the tracks which were extracted from the game's resource files, Rage was only part of the end credits FMV - which is why it sounds different.
That's the reason why it has a different volume & lower quality than the other tracks.
I tried to avoid messing around with the tracks' volume and sound mixing as I wanted to present the tracks as-is.
Amazing! Thanks for uploading all this.
