Thank You!! Rock on! Bruno Freitas
Sounds great!
Thanks Terry! Love playing VH and chasing tones. These amps are great. I picked up this head used for $500.00. Rock on
You really nailed the EVH tone… and such a fine tone indeed. Cheers! 🎸
Thanks for stopping by, Cheers bro! 😃🎸
I'm actually more impressed with how nice you got the reverb sounding. Good job.
Haha thanks. It's not perfect by any means. Through my studio monitors it sounds great. But on my cell phone speaker it sounds too wet. I did pan the guitar to the left a bit as well.
@@BrunoFreitasMusic Is that just the verb from the amp?
@@darianrundallmedia1305 No, I used a plugin. Brainworx bx_rooms. The amp's spring reverb is great, but for VH, you need a big plate reverb. I cover the plugin towards the end of the video.
@@BrunoFreitasMusic sounds good.👍
@@darianrundallmedia1305 thank you bro
I need to fix my JCM 2000!
Yeah man, Great amps! Very versatile as well! What's wrong with your amp?
@@BrunoFreitasMusic one day it just stopped making noise, two of the preamp tubes aren't working even with different tubes in it. It still turns on but there's no noise coming out
@@1thess523 hmmm. Are all the tubes glowing? I would look at the preamp tube sockets. (Where the individual preamp tube pins are inserted). Sometimes those get opened up too far or become dirty and don't properly make contact with the preamp tube pins. Completely discharge the amp of any and all power!! Then using a tiny screwdriver or pick, You can bend the socket contacts inwards towards the center hole, so that the they grip the tube pins better and make a solid connection. If you are not comfortable, take it to an amp tech. DANGER, This amp has enough power to KILL a person!! So if you are not sure, take it to a professional.
HUNERD WATTS ?
No. It's a "HUNARD" watt head! 😆 It's a bit of an inside joke that I have with some of my friends. If you you are serious, yes it is 100 watts. Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100. I'm using (4) JJ EL34's for the power section. If you haven't already, consider subscribing. Thanks a HUNARD! 😀
