1-2Y use 3mm knitting needles with #4 or aran weight yarn
3-6Y use 4mm knitting needles with #4 or aran weight yarn
7-10Y use 4.5mm knitting needles with #4 or aran weight yarn

For adults the total length based on standard sizes is between 9-9.75in

Looking for for knitting in Circular needles mittens for kids. My 1 year old granddaughter goes to day care and we have to put mittens bonnet everyday as torontonis very cold.

Started this late last night & finished first thing in the morning. I do all my shopping at amazon & ebay. Usually I make my own pompoms. But what do I put on the search bar please? I would love to have a furry one for my hats. Usually I make baby hats.

On the pattern row instead of k2tog, yo k1, yo sl2 to rh needle then bk to lh needle purlwise then k2tog tbl, (3 stages) just k2tog tbl ..(1 stage) looks exactly the same....my way I did .... *k2tog, yo k1, yo k2tog tbl, p2 k1 p2* repeat .....so much easier
