Interesting article Henri and makes me a bit sad. I want to think that Alberta was primarily responsible for the creation of the music for the song. It sounds as if she created the majority of it and that others may have just tweaked it a bit. How do you find these articles? Did you get my email from the other day? Thank you for all you do Sir Henri! 👌☺👍
FYI, songs 7 and 8 are my favorites. I am quite fond of Anita Boyer and her vocals. I read a bit about her and it seems she never stayed in one place too long. Too bad as I think she made great music with Mr Reisman and his orchestra. Don't you think so?
Thank you so much for your help, Henri! I've been collecting vintage records for many years, so I like to keep track of things like this and your kind assistance is greatly appreciated! I thank you again and have a great weekend!
So I'm a channel comedian? Let me get this right: I amuse you? I make you laugh like a clown? I'm here to amuse you? How am I funny, what the f is so funny about me?
_Refined_ is certainly the word for the Reisman orch's music! All are wonderful, with the three Anita sides, especially "Now I Lay Me Down To Dream," being my favorites. "Until The Real Thing Comes Along," with Larry Stewart, is also very nice.
This is so relaxing. Having this on is really helping me de-stress while I finish the work I have to do at the end of my work day. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Fantastic music and I think the first selection is really great! (Do you have any disc information on "A Latin Tune, A Manhattan Moon And You"?) Please keep the wonderful music coming, it is greatly appreciated!
One of the viewers listed the information above in a comment for you John. The recording was made in New York, New York. Studio 2. Glad you liked this post and many more to come. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Lo siento Hilda, ha estado ocupado últimamente con poco tiempo para responder a los comentarios. Siempre es genial saber de ti y me alegra que disfrutes de la música. Espero que te vaya bien.
I find Reisman's music from this period very appealing. I also like how he would use a variety of vocalists and not the same one all the time. I do wish he had recorded more music with Felix Knight, he had a beautiful voice.

just a little "Hello!" 👋
and a big THANK YOU 💞
Hello there!
With this playing in the background, I can imagine that I’m in the 30’s. Lovely songs, Pax. :)
Glad to hear it Nancy, hope all is well.
You go, Miss Drewe! Snap your fingers and twirl your dress around and around the room you go! Don't fall down, dear!
Love it! Should have been born 40 years earlier, blast! Anyway, this is superb...my deepest thanks for the tasteful style you obviously have. 👏

Don't forget to check out comp-arr-as-ts Eddie Barefield (Track 3), e.g. ua-cam.com/video/osm29tqmshg/v-deo.html - four decades later.
Nice to hear some of his later recordings.
