The subliminal W shape that the two shape makes works well for the brand name. There is also the suggestion of a heart shape in there which is very well suited.
Very cool and insightful video. I do think that the attribute "authentic" can almost be ignored in brand development, because it doesn't provide much insight. Very few brands would describe themselves as inauthentic.
I like the idea of having the points of the location markers converge to make a heart. Could be symbolic of the coming together of two people, both at the retreat and in life in general.

I also like the fact of setting a time limit for creativity because it is so easy to get lost and keep editing forever and not get to a final result. I would like to hear your insight on when to stop refining a design and accept it as it is.

What’s the rational for trying to develop a brand identity in 20 minutes? Perhaps you should start with disclaimers that this is not normal practice or goals to aspire to in the design industry? It fuels the race to the bottom type of business owners and clients.
