Some people just naturally pick up accents especially when they're conversing with someone who has an accent. It's so judgemental of people to assume a Singaporean is "trying too hard" with an accent just because they aren't speaking in the 100% Singaporean accent.
Duh he is her husband .. she can pick up the accent and go from singaporean accent to american accent
