this guy is the original real deal hessian. speed, gnarliness, and style like no other. i see alot of trujillo in his skating . i know that cardiel deserves his recognition. but wade was there along side of him, but never really got the status like cards. way underated in the skateboaring world.
@@MrScott-go6 It was Label Kills. Second video I owned. The first video I had was Menikmati, which was amazing, but I'd had a whole expectation in my head about what skateboarding was going to be when I first got into it, and Menikmati made me think maybe I was mistaken. But Label Kills delivered everything I'd hoped it would be. My friend and I went to a ditch that day and I learned frontside bonelesses, not even knowing anything, just imitating what I saw Mike V. doing. Probably the most formative video for me.
Mid 90s skating was no joke. After all the baggy cloths and crazy tech flips died out,out of the ashes came wade, cards, straight raw skating.I feel the wade was way under rated.
There's a Fox (bike equipment company) video with a Speyer part where he shreds that spine ramp possibly even harder than this. Incredible controlled agresssion. He doesn't just 'land' tricks, he eats them alive and wants more.
proper f%$#ing skateboarding to a proper song that part still holds up today its the styz that all the creatur dudes are tryin to get with Im gonna watchit again
@MaydayCavalier Skateboarding culture is a joke now. I started skatin in '01 and it was way different. The tight pants, nike sb, and oldschool vans trends didn't exist yet. I hate how most kids who skate dress the same. It's fucking stupid. Kid's care more about silly clothing trends than the skateboarding itself.
