I wish you guys would have talked about which parts of the kit can be reused and which are exhausted after so many rolls and how the exhaustion differs from c-41 chemicals.
How long do these chemicals last after mixing? It is highly improbable to shoot 8 or 16 rolls of the Vision 3 over a short period. How long can one keep an exposed roll of Vision 3 before processing, until enough rolls have been exposed to use up the chemicals? I have looked but not found an answer to any of my questions. Thanks you.
You can keep an exposed roll for a long time before processing, at least a year. Keep it in a cool location. The chemicals are good for two months after mixing.
Thank you Dave for your reply. You have settled my mind. I had heard that the shelf life of mixed chemicals is about two weeks, and the exposed film should be processed immediately. Something that is not so easily done.@@davemarshall9302
The developer should be put into a bladder and all of the air burped out and then store in the fridge. It will last months this way vs a week or two. The other chemicals are far less prone to oxidation.
Hello and merry Xmas. Excited to develop some of your film in the ecn2 developer. I am confused about a stipulation in your written instructions to use 580ML when developing 2 rolls in Patterson tank. The pack says it makes 500ML or .5ML . So I am confused as to how I get to 580ML from a 500ML pack? I am sure there is a simple explanation I am missing! Can you help?
Hello! Happy new year! So the results are just amazing colours etc I am loving the flic film and flic film developer combo. Only issue is I seem to have a lot of white spots on a lot of frames…is that remjet? Should I be spending more time in rem-jet cleaning ? Any ideas? Thanks!!
@@davemarshall9302 Hey …So I used pecpad and Ilford ilfosol wetting agent…I used this while film was wet…pristine clean negatives …amazing thanks so much! Buying a whole new bunch of developer and film 😍
Hi Reuben, there are many reasons for images to not work out, starting with the exposure. Most problems developing are temperature related or time related. Hundreds of people develop this film every week and have great results. I would go back on what you did to see if there was somewhere that you did not follow the instructions exactly and perhaps you will have better success. You haven't posted the images but you are welcome to email them to flicfilminc@gmail.com and we will see if we can identify the problem you experienced.

Absolutely, with the exception of the prebath which is done by hand.

The package says 500 to 580ml. Just mix to 580 and follow the instruction. Enjoy the results!

@@toksabimbola this is Remjet. Use a microfiber cloth soaked in Slick-200 wetting agent and you will find they come off quite easily.
