Your macramé wall hanging tutorial was so much fun, and I learned a lot! It was so good that we featured your video in a round-up post on our website. Keep up the great work!
I just finished my creation after watching your video. The only thing I would add is, I wanted a stiffer look so I sprayed them with hairspray on a flat surface and let them dry then hung them. I'll try to post a pic . Thanks for the tutorial.
This was a very good tutorial. I saw the original video on tiktok. The obstructions were thorough but simple. Thank you. Would love to see more how to videos.
I’m so very happy I found your feathers and your website! You have opened new doors for me and I’m so in love with your creations as well as the gorgeous colors available to recreate them!❤❤. Thank you for making all this possible! I can’t wait for the beautiful colored cords I’ve ordered.. you were so wonderful to work with!💖💖
Extremely well done tutorial, i thought that i knewevery way possible to make feathers but you taught me a few things. So glad i subscribed to to your channel!
These are simple but so beautiful and I love the way that you finished the end of the feather it is so much better than on many other tutorials. Such a relaxing and inspiring tutorial. Thank you for sharing your skills
Beautiful 👏👏 I went to the beach today (in the pouring rain) purely to find some drift wood so I can attempt this project tomorrow. Thank you so much for sharing xxx
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Terry Camdyn Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I love your projects and you have been so incredibly wonderful to work with 💖. I’m wondering on the size difference between your different feathers. I have the info on your longest one, but no other size. I’d like to make as many beautiful feathers as I can from each skien ( oh my gosh are these colors gorgeous!) I’m thinking 2.. possible 3 max? But want to salvage the full beauty of each one, as I cannot sacrifice the beauty of your creation just to save a few dollars. So Even approximate length of a medium feather would be of help ☺️. As always, thank you for you sincere kindness! ❤️
I followed your instructions and my feathers came out beautiful. My only issue is the keep twisting when i lift them to hang. How do you keep your straight?
Your video is easy to understand and follow. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with me. Is the cord you're using 100% cotton? Thanks again! c. mason
I would absolutely love to have a go at one of these for my dining room (I'm obsessed, thanks so much for sharing) what colours would you recommend from your website I'm thinking black grey and white or cream... the room is very monochrome 😊
Thank you! I don't sell any greys or blacks atm, but I have Stone and Light Blue which are both closer to grey. From natural and creamy I have Natural, Champagne and Nude:)
Hi! It's hard to tell exactly how many cords you need because 1) it depends on the thickness of your cord 2)How tight your knots are to each other. I can tell you in grams I use between 150g-200g of cord per feather. I hope this helps, sorry I cannot give you an exact amount.
I created a wall hanging but my feathers won’t stay flat they keep twisting 🥺 I saw somewhere some people use fabric stiffening spray. Would that work?
Hi Natalie, you could use a fabric stiffening spray, but you can also watch this video and maybe it'll help you hang your piece: instagram.com/reel/CLe1oC3gg-_/
With the cords from my shop you need 1 bundle of either 3mm or 5mm cord (1 bundle makes 2 feathers). If you're looking somewhere else, my 3mm bundle has approx. 96m and 5mm bundle has approx. 60m :)
It is hard to say exactly how many cords you will need. It really depends on the size of your feathers and the cord you're using. With my one 5mm bundle you can make either 2 or 3 medium to large feathers. Hope this helps.
Hi. What type of yarn is that called? I live in New Zealand and we have an arts and craft store called SPOTLIGHT where i can buy wool string etc, but i'd need to know what you use. Tyvm. Love your work btw. I saw it on TIK TOK so would like to give this a try.

Thank you very much! I'm so happy to hear that!
In love with this style! Do you sell them by any chance?
I made one. It was so easy with this tutorial :)
Thank you so much for your video, I can’t wait to make one. Can I ask what are names of colors you used?
Sorry for a late response! I’ve used Pine forest, mocha, natural, oyster pink, champagne!
Hi thanks for this tutorial. I’m curious on how much cord comes in those bundles ? Thanks
Hi:) You're welcome! It's approx. 60m in a 5mm bundle & 95m in a 3mm bundle:)
Another questions:) approximately how many rows of cord does each feather have ?
Your video is easy to understand and follow. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with me.
Is the cord you're using 100% cotton? Thanks again! c. mason
Thank you very much! Yes, I use 100% cotton cord:)
My feathers keep twisting....How do I get them to stay flat? Thank you so much for this tutorial 💗
Same! Here hopeful for a hack to fix it
Not sure if it works but I saw somewhere to use fabric stiffening spray to keep them flat.
I've seen people use sticky back felt
I L O V E this! What size cord did you use in the video? 3, 4, or 5mm?
I've used all the sizes, but you don't need to have such a variety. You can just pick one size:)
This is beautiful! 💜 I want to try and attempt to make one. Where did you get the stick from?
I found mine on eBay and Etsy. eBay was cheaper 🙂
I would absolutely love to have a go at one of these for my dining room (I'm obsessed, thanks so much for sharing) what colours would you recommend from your website I'm thinking black grey and white or cream... the room is very monochrome 😊

This is beautiful I found you on tik tok first your work is so neat & different😍 I would love to try & make this where do you order the cord from?
Thank you very much! For my feathers I use a cord from my shop: www.artsynortheast.com :)
This is gorgeous! Thank you so much for the tutorial! What colors did you use?
Thank you! I've used Natural, Pine forest, Oyster Pink, Mocha and Champagne :)
You don’t put stiffer on feathers?
My feathers are also twisting can you give us some pointers please?
I made the mistake of making the feathers off the branch first . I am not sure how attach them after they are already made ?
What kind of cord is it? Where can I get it?
Can you please share where you get your cord for this video as well as the colors shown?
The cords are available in my shop: www.artsynortheast.com/cottonmacramecords :)
how do you keep your "feathers" stiff?
Hi there, i'm going to attemp to make this. How many pieces of 7 inches does it take for the 54 inches cord?
Hi! It's hard to tell exactly how many cords you need because 1) it depends on the thickness of your cord 2)How tight your knots are to each other. I can tell you in grams I use between 150g-200g of cord per feather. I hope this helps, sorry I cannot give you an exact amount.
@@artsynortheast No worries. Thanks heaps for your help, most of all for the tutorial ❤
What kind of cord do you use? Like what brand? I used lions head yarn and it doesn’t turn out right..... 😞
The cord is available in my shop, here is a link: www.artsynortheast.com/cottonmacramecords

Can I buy these wools on Amazon.?....and whats the exact name? No more procrastinating, it's years I want to learn doing this.....now
U can search for macrame cord in Amazon
What size (mm) cord did you use for this actual piece?
I used both 3mm & 5 mm:) I like mixing them up, so the feathers have different thickness x
Hi... What is the size of the feathers when it's all done...?
Thank u
Hi! This piece is approx. 110cm by 55cm :)
Thank u🙂
The feathers in the video are considered large feathers, correct? Thank you.
What kind of brush is that? Looks like a pets brush.
She said dog brush
@@tonyastreet617 Correct!:)
What is the brand of cord you use? I have made one and the cord brushed out but not a fluffy as yours did
@@jenvincent3566 The cords are from my shop (single strand twisted): www.artsynortheast.com/cottonmacramecords

How do I keep mine from twisiting?
Hi! I've got a reel on my Instagram, showing some tips for that. I think it might help:) @artsy.northeast.
im so disappointed, i made my first feather, can not get it to brush out, its a black single strand but it wont work
How many cords did you cut
It is hard to say exactly how many cords you will need. It really depends on the size of your feathers and the cord you're using. With my one 5mm bundle you can make either 2 or 3 medium to large feathers. Hope this helps.
@@artsynortheast where can I buy your cord?

Hi! This is a single strand twisted cotton cord:) You can find 3,4 or 5 mm one. Thank you!!
Would you be able to tell me the exact colours you used plz? I love how they all work together. 😁
Love this, I have plans on making one, thank you
