Very thorough video. Any suggestions for hardcore elite?
From what I can see the berserker is a glass cannon type of character. You could play with the lightning leap due to invincibility while at it, but then taking down mobs will take forever and if you missclick once - you're dead. IMO the game is not supposed to be played hardcore due to the amount of instagib moments you encounter.
If someone wants to make sockets on items, I have a map with Jurick The Socketer. You can make 2 sockets per equipment, weapon. I see that Riisto doesnt have sockets on all his items :3
17k Physical Armor VS Varkolyn Champion = INSTADEATH. For you of course. And actually any shock dmg based mob means instadeath for you. Been there. Done that. Trust me.
I have around 70 armor against all elements on lvl 20 (zerker) WITHOUT gems. And you have 120 shock armor on lvl 100 on NG++.
Think about it :).
Bera Mora Armor doesn't really matter as long as you have 75% Damage reduction and ~25k health

Sadly probably not. It seems they capped attack-speed a while back. (Not 100% sure though)
Is there a way to respec all the skills? I just started out in torchlight and what if I spec wrong? Do i have to create a new character and lvl it up to 100 again just to make another spec/ buiild?

Trying Berserker now on Elite Hardcore. With a regular Elite Berserker playing a few levels ahead for testing purposes. Seems much more difficult than playing Engineer in elite hardcore...which I assume is the easiest.

Be VERY careful with all kinds of mag dmg - all the aoe spells WILL instagib you unless you play engineer/shield build.

The reason to put just one point in "Blood hunger" is because it doesn't work the way it says in the description, it's actually a very less pompous skill than it looks.

A lv 100 berserker with 136 str (probably all of it coming from items)? Dude cut the shit, open the console and carry those points over from vit to str for god's sake!!
And be careful with the skill "cold steel mastery" because it may be not worth

All in all, I think your skill election and points distribution is a bit flawed (I could expand on the reasons but it would take an essay) although I concur with you on a great deal.
But of course, in the end it's all about one having fun with a given build and there's no accounting for taste.
Im new to TL, level 35 Berzerker, but watching this turns me off completely.. the game play is fucking terrible and plain :/ spam your buffs, now auto attack everything? is this really all there is ? :(
Nah - this is one very specific build that is not even valid anymore (attack speed has been capped). There's plenty of other builds out there. The main fun in this one was to build a glass cannon that is the fastest possible. Gameplay wise it was quite intense to dodge the bosses attacks while keeping your stacks up by killing the minions.
@@Maganyos Auto-attack zerk is definitely still valid.
if you died 1057 you just prove that either you or the build is terrible...
Me - for sure! The build? Very likely. 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration through trial and error. Maybe this class is the fastest to die in :D
