I feel like that's an easter egg to readers. Its no spoiler to say that the author made a point to put in stuff like "they rode as fast they could. First galloping for a mile, then at a trot, then climbing down & walking the horses. In stories, the hero always rides at a full gallop for miles & miles, but thats a quick way to hobble a horse." 😅 Robert Jordan was the best kind of nerd
This episode is definitely my favourite of the season so far, probably out of both seasons tbh. The heel-turn from Selene to Lanfear was perfectly executed and they made her the perfect combination of sexy, tormented and absolutely fucking terrifying. The seanchan stuff in this episode was also dope, and perrin and avi moments topped it off like a cherry. That's before we even mention verins detective agency. Not a wasted second of time in this one! Easily my fave
Lanfear: *Explodes a man's head because he is a slight inconvenience* Cariana: ... I kinda like her vibe. 😅 Love it, always love your guys' reactions, and Cariana adds some great perspectives!
"yall got knocked out again!?" the show is clearly doing a better job adapting the books than we think because this is a whole mood for several books and you all nailed it.
This is my favorite episode so far, and it's mostly because of aviendha. Great introduction to her and aiel in general. Went straight to my book loving heart
Before this week, Episode 4 was my favorite, but it's #5 now for sure - VERIN being the absolute sneakiest, Avi's introduction, Hopper being the best boy, Tel'aran'riod! Not to mention Lanfear going full horror movie.
If there is one thing the show has absolutely nailed so far it's the spear maidens. That was a great fight scene, and her dialogue was pretty much exactly how Aiel talk in the books.
Long time book reader here. I love your reactions. You are all so hilarious and bounce off each other in a fun way. And I'm loving season 2 of the Wheel of Time. My favourite episode has been #4. It felt all round very well done as an episode and I loved the Lanfear reveal. I also liked the family interactions between Moiraine and her sister. I felt Sanaa Hamri did a great job as director as #3 and #4 are my favourite episodes so far.
I think #3 was my favorite. This one was really good, but Nyneave’s accepted test was so emotional, and the whole episode had top notch acting. It’s a great season! Makes it difficult to choose a favorite, but I’ll go with #3 for now.
That's sooo true. With one big diversion from the books with Uno's death coming *right before,* they started selling me that Nyneave really might not make it make it back out of the arches. And Egwene's mourning Nynaeve's loss hit me emotionally because of that. Seeing her captured by the Seanchan was similarly heart wrenching.
Season 2, Episode 5. Verin kicking into high gear as a character. Aviendha amazing. Dain Bornhold excellent. The entire chosen are great with Lanfear kicking into high gear and their connections and motivations making sense. Everything is starting to payoff in a big way in this episode. Perrin is getting better and better. Seanchen world fantastic. Just a powerhouse of an episode.
My gf's like, "That's Cho!" "Cho who?" 🤔 Then realized, she was Harry Potter's crush in _Order of the Phoenix._ 😮🤯 I must say, I've followed you since Day 1 and your production quality is top notch. It started off fantastic but it's increased a hundred fold. Keep going! You're all stars.
I appreciate the love!!! I haven’t seen any of the Harry Potter movies yet so I definitely have to add that to the list to find out more about this Cho character! -Adison
Lanfear is ..👌🔥, though i like lady suroth vibe more but man she looks scary😅, i didn’t expect that no brow and all , even if its cgi its not the best look, though sadly i don’t think she will last long , just a puppet to Ishmael to play like piddle
Episode five is definitely my favorite so far. As a book fan, it’s nice to see all the stuff coming together. I also love the direction that the plots are going that I don’t know about. This episode came together better than any of the other ones in my opinion. It didn’t seem to have any filler. I love the stuff with a Rand and Maureen. Lanfear what is perfect. She was so brutal.
Episode 5 is my favorite of the series so far. The Egwene, Elayne, and Nyneave plotline is being handled perfectly in my opinion and the Perrin and Aviendha fight scene was awesome.
Loved the WhiteCloak reveal. Avienda is prefect. Aiel are known for their teasing humor, it was nice to see that introduced. Great insights. You are proof that the writers know what they are doing, to get across some complex ideas without too much exposition.❤ Excited for next week’s episode.
Yesss welcome back Carianna! Having all 3 of you together is always fire. In s2, this is my favorite episode for sure. So many gears are moving faster, some theories are playing out, new characters, just enough action. (And s/o to the Admin for that lil no-spoiler warning…) And shout-out to Katie Leung - all grown out up of Hogwarts, and playing a brown Ajah with blue Ajah vibes!
Your reactions and insights make my day! Love watching with you live too. There were so many amazing characters in Ep 5 that it has to be my favorite so far. Verin in the tower, Hopper, Avi and Perrin, Lanfear, Fain waltzing in. If they could have squeezed in Mat & Min on Bayle's boat somehow, I do be sure I'd have passed out! What do you three most want to know now that we've passed midseason?
Lanfear exploded the dudes head because she was annoyed and she needed his horse. She really is like that. Also, hi Aviendha! I am really glad the writers decided to make Liandrin more complex than in the books. This was my favorite episode so far.
I don't like show Liandrin, I like complex villains and Wheel Of Time had plenty of those but there's nothing wrong with a power hungry psycho existing in this world. I prefer book liandrin
Love you guys. Only found you for season two, but you're my new favourite WoT reaction crew! Love your honesty, your innocence - you just keep it real and I love that! Watching you guys go on this journey together is just a treat!
You know this is a great episode when it’s my favourite so far despite not having any of my fav characters in any of the scenes,Min and mat where are you? But ya, this episode of what my wheel of time book loving self dreamed of.
This has been my favorite episode of the season, & my favorite moment was Perrin breaking Aviendha out of the cage. Prison abolitionist Perrin says "people shouldn't be in cages." 🖤✊️ But they're a great pairing, Aviendhas reaction to him wanting to protect her, her laughing at the idea, & asking him "Do you dance, Perrin Aybara?" before lifting her antifa black veil & wrecking the whitecloaks! 😂
Enjoyed watching yall's reaction. It's fun to see people not familiar with the books enjoy the show and break it down. Some of your comments too are cracking me up. I am a book fanatic and frustrated with several changes but this episode is turning it around to follow the book more closely. One thing you all saw that I missed when I watched is you noticed Valda's broken arm. Dain Bornhald told Perrin to watch out cause she about ripped off the arm of one of his men that got to close. That was Valda. Awesome little easter egg that was implied there. Valda is one of the characters that I absolutely loathe because he is so awful to everyone so seeing a hint that his arm is broken likely by Avienda makes me smile. I can't wait to see your reaction as this builds into what I hope you all get to see :)
I wish they kept her a little closer to her book self, seemingly not paying attention at all just to completely flip the script on everyone at the best moment. But I understand that's probably hard to portray.
She seems more blue than brown, ferreting out things in the real world rather than from books. Not sure anyone would get the impression browns are all about finding and preserving knowledge from the show. (don't get me wrong, I'm adoring show Verin)
Episode 2.5 is my favorite so far. They have revealed so much that the non-book readers haven't been exposed to yet. It's really exciting to see how y'all react to the new info.
Avienda is my favorite character in these books and he casting of Ayoola Smart was spot on. More Aiel please. Lanfear was properly sexy, obsessed and terrifying. Verin and her detectives were great. Sister Strongjaw is playing a very dangerous game. And very quietly, Elayne proved level headed, resourceful, and powerful.
I have been watching y'all during my morning workouts and my abs hurt today from laughing so much. Keep it up! Anyway I don't feel like I have a favorite because every new episode becomes my new favorite. This season just keeps getting better!
This is easily my favorite episode in the series this far. The portrayal of Lanfear is so good, the deeper look at the Seanchan and of course the introduction to the amazing Avienda. "Do you like to dance, Perrin Aybara?"
So far, this is my favorite episode. It’s moving. I feel like the rest of the series is going to start moving. Plus, we got Aviendah! She is on another level. Also, I’m not gonna lie, I saw that “Demane” joke coming, it was still funny though. Glad to have Carianna back. She caught some things I missed. Great reaction. Always on point.
This episode was closest to the book for me, which is also why it's the best of the season.🙃Love to have seen Aviendha, the start of Egwene's arc, Hopper. the dreamworld. It's starting to shape up. If they keep this up there is a lot of hope.
I’m 3,5,2,4,1 for the moment. The Arches slapped for so many reasons, biggest emotional gut punch (but I’m a Lanaeve girl). 5 is amazing, best overall from a reader’s perspective, for all the content and reveals. Aviendha’s intro was so strong - she’s great in the books, and seeing her come to life on screen is exhilarating. Verin is the GOAT - show version a bit different, but no less intriguing. 2 purely for Adeleas - she’s Sister Thirsty Cougar now - and I’m missing her already. The eyeroll she provoked from Moiraine for fawning all over Lan, is *still* sending me. Lan’s having a rough go of it this season. He’s another GOAT, but hasn’t yet had the chance to exhibit his full potential in this adaptation - I’m still holding out hope, though, that he’ll get his moment to really shine.
Hi all! I really enjoy your channel. Ya'll do a fantastic job and I love your reactions and commentary of The Wheel of Time. S2E5 is definitely my favorite of the season so far. Not only does the quality and richness of the plot, characters, and world building continue to get better and better, but this particular episode starts to "weave" everything together for me. As a book reader, I am beside myself with getting to hear and watch a new turning of the wheel. I know we didn't get Lan and Mat in this one, but I think that just makes space for them to get a lot of screentime down the road. What we did get between Moirain and Rand, Lanfear and Ishmael, Perrin and Aviendha, Verin and the Brown sisters, as well as Nynaeve and Elain was excellent! Let's also not forget about Liandrin! What a powerhouse she is in the show. WoW! I'm so glad ya'll are putting together these videos. Thank you!
My favourite episode was S2E1 because it allowed me to be happy. Of course there needs to drama in WoT but it was so nice to have a (relatively) happy episode
To clarify, Ae sedai who swear the oaths, can't physically use the one power as a weapon unless against shadowspawn or in defense of their own lives. It's not just "illegal", they literally can't make the weaves, almost like a block. Wanted to put that out there for any non book readers :)
This is definitely my favorite episode so far. I bet we still have to look out for Liandrin playing word games - she may be able to tell a lie but if one of the other Aes Sedai catches her in one she'll be outed as Black Ajah.
Episode 5 has been my favorite so far, the writing was better, all the information we learned was much needed. And I love the tel'aran'rhiod introduction.. well *better* introduction.
I'm so glad to see Carianna back. You guys are terrific but she adds a really fun perspective to the team. I'm a fan! I look forward to you all becoming WoT book readers before this is over.
Hahaha... their reaction when Ishamael caress Rand's face, and then Rand turned into Lanfear... priceless. Possibly among the best non-action scene in this season.
I mean I would think anyone who doesn't say Episode 5 is their fave is possibly a Darkfriend! Loved seeing your reactions! I can't wait to see how they wrap up this season if this episode was this good. Aviendha was so good! Lanfear was completely unhinged with the casual cruelty. Loved seeing more with the World of Dreams, Tel'aran'rhiod. Looking forward to Episode 6 next week!
My favorite moment this episode was the moment before she said “do you like to dance”. Perrin was trying to protect her and she basically giggled haha
me too, i like these reactions as i never know if the scenes work for non readers.
Moiraine told sister Pillsbury to ride the horses all the way to Tar Valon without a rest but she didn't listen.
I feel like that's an easter egg to readers. Its no spoiler to say that the author made a point to put in stuff like "they rode as fast they could. First galloping for a mile, then at a trot, then climbing down & walking the horses. In stories, the hero always rides at a full gallop for miles & miles, but thats a quick way to hobble a horse."
😅 Robert Jordan was the best kind of nerd
Oh I didn't catch that
Cariana saw one head get exploded and switched sides 😂
lol!!!! That's might be the underlying truth!
-Adison
HAAAHAHAHA
Just like the people of Falme 🤪
Well, Lanfear is good at blowing stuff up...
I second that word for word!
I think same.
Verin’s detective word absolutely put this epsisode over the edge for me! I loved her spy work lol
I agree
I loved Verin’s interaction with Liandrin, those knowing patient looks. She definitely put Liandrin off her stride.
Lanfear: *Explodes a man's head because he is a slight inconvenience*
Cariana: ... I kinda like her vibe.
😅 Love it, always love your guys' reactions, and Cariana adds some great perspectives!
This is my favorite episode so far. That switch that Natasha flipped to become Lanfear from Selene was insane
My job is in community management so I FRIGGIN LOVED that opening PSA. 😂 Moderators are the real ones. Behave yourselves, everyone!
I try to do a good job lol
I thought they did a great job using Aviendha to begin to introduce us to the Aiel ways. Their humor, ji'e'toh, their culture and customs.
For me this was the best episode so far. Verin and Aviendha are perfect.
I'm so glad they made Aviendha's introduction so epic!
Now we know why the old guy in the mental asylum had such PTSD from fighting the Aiel!
Exactly (if we don't already know it from the cold open in 107...
When you thought a pregnant Aiel from Season 1 was too much, Aviendha said “hold my spear”
@@Wayne-cq5wg”hold my water!”
So true! Homie was traumatized!
haha lol that's facts I forgot that was the source of that man's mental trauma 😅
-Adison
"yall got knocked out again!?" the show is clearly doing a better job adapting the books than we think because this is a whole mood for several books and you all nailed it.

If there is one thing the show has absolutely nailed so far it's the spear maidens. That was a great fight scene, and her dialogue was pretty much exactly how Aiel talk in the books.
Favorite episode was ep. 5. It explained the world of dreams, Ji' e 'Toh, other forsaken. It was amazing!
Long time book reader here. I love your reactions. You are all so hilarious and bounce off each other in a fun way. And I'm loving season 2 of the Wheel of Time.

"What language are they speaking?"
"Ancient Evil"

Loved the WhiteCloak reveal. Avienda is prefect. Aiel are known for their teasing humor, it was nice to see that introduced.
Great insights. You are proof that the writers know what they are doing, to get across some complex ideas without too much exposition.❤
Excited for next week’s episode.
Your guys’ reaction to avienda made me have to rewatch again. Keep up the great work!
Man I loved that scene!! Avienda had a legendary introduction!
-Adison
After the horse “so does the wheel weave as the wheel wills” 😂
Lol I just want to know!! Is that still the motto now?? 😂

Such an amazing episode. My favourite so far. Aviendha got me emotional. Such a great portrayal. ❤
Episode 5! That felt like there was so many book moments that were pleasing!
To finish my post 2) thing I wanted to say is I love watching you guys from a long time WoT fan and have read the books multiple times.
You know this is a great episode when it’s my favourite so far despite not having any of my fav characters in any of the scenes,Min and mat where are you? But ya, this episode of what my wheel of time book loving self dreamed of.
So far Episode 5 is my favorite this season just keeps getting better. It has surpassed all my expectations. I'm so excited for E6
man I laughed out loud and thoroughly enjoyed your reaction, thanks you all!
This has been my favorite episode of the season, & my favorite moment was Perrin breaking Aviendha out of the cage. Prison abolitionist Perrin says "people shouldn't be in cages." 🖤✊️

I've been wearing my Brother Book shirt each week for the new episode! Can't wait for your reaction to this one!
My favourite epsode so far, favourite moment is probably Aviendhas reaction to perrin 'protecting her'
2x5 was my favorite and, IMHO, best episode so far. Great review and recap! I love your commentary!
I’ve been watching since season 1 and one of my favorite things is y’all’s nicknames for everyone 😂…..sister strong jaw is my favorite one 😂😂😂.
Love rewatching the episode with your guys’ reactions! I’d say this was the best episode so far.
I'm with cariana here. Lanfear slays nonchalantly. But you missed that lanfear IS afraid of Ishmael. You missed that gulp.
Your reaction videos really are a gift. Loved hearing your thoughts!
Episode 6 was my favourite so far. Seeing Avihenda for the first time on-screen was a moment I've been waiting for in, what seems like, an eternity!
Verin is my favorite character in the books... she is just dancing circles around everyone all the time, way too smart

What was with that switch to Camera 2 when y'all were watching Aviendha fight 😂😂 I felt it
Love that you like Aviendha.
I have been watching y'all during my morning workouts and my abs hurt today from laughing so much. Keep it up!
Anyway I don't feel like I have a favorite because every new episode becomes my new favorite. This season just keeps getting better!
Glad I'm not the only one who kinda likes Lanfear
Horse lady disobeyed Moiraine's orders and got caught as a result.
Carianna: "It's giving hot mess vibes."
Girl 🤣 why do you think there are 14 books in the series? Hahahaha
Episode 5 is my favorite so far, because AVIENDHA IS EVERYTHING 😍
I'm really starting to like this Aviendha character!
-Adison
This episode is my fav so far, because its most book accurate and thus you can see how good the story lines are.Cheerz
Very satisfying to watch your reactions!
This is easily my favorite episode in the series this far. The portrayal of Lanfear is so good, the deeper look at the Seanchan and of course the introduction to the amazing Avienda. "Do you like to dance, Perrin Aybara?"
My favorite so far is episode 3. Nynaeve’s stuff was cool and I loved seeing Elayne’s relationship with the other girls start up.
Hands down, this is the best episode of the entire series!
This was really good! You must be an Avienda fan too? 😂
-Adison
@@edn She is one of my favorite book characters. I had to pause my video when I watched because I got emotional when she introduced herself to Perrin
Not anymore 😅
Episode 5 for sure! It was the Episode that felt the most like the books to me.
This episode was closest to the book for me, which is also why it's the best of the season.🙃Love to have seen Aviendha, the start of Egwene's arc, Hopper. the dreamworld. It's starting to shape up. If they keep this up there is a lot of hope.
13:42 y’all really one of the best reactors here, I’ve cackled MULTIPLE times already lol
best Episode so far, because many good scenes and many important book mentions
My favorite ep so far is s2 e 4 only because it gave us something from all our favorite characters but geez 3....Nynaeve!!!❤️🔥 and 5...Ahvienda👏👏👏
y'all my favorite WoT reactors! Favorite episode so far - this one I guess, Damane episode 5
"She's kind of slaying in a nonchalant way"
"I mean....she's SLAYING"
Emphasis on “slaying” always lol 😂
-Adison
"It's giving hot mess" 😍🤣
Carianna cracks me up every time she starts a statement with “it’s giving…” lol 😂
-Adison
@@edn it's so accurate tho!
"That's if all goes well though" made me die.

You all are absolutely hilarious. Please don't stop these reactions. Love it!🤣
This episode is absolutely my favorite of the whole series!
Lanfear is EVERYTHING!
Aviendha is amazing! Great Irish actress too ❤
Remember - even from season 1 - there are Whitecloaks & Whitecloaks -The Questioners - an extreme sect within The Children of the Light
This was my favorite episode so far ! I was looking forward to see Aviendha, and my girl did not disappoint...
The previous episode felt like it spent a long time with not enough happening, but this episode feels like it packed so much in.
Definitely looking forward to watching later tonight. Won't be able to watch it live but love the show.

I’m letting this one stay because Adison has read book 1 and I think it’s been implied in show but please avoid adding info.
I enjoy your reaction videos! S2 Ep 5 is my favorite so far. Aviendha is so good!
This is my favorite episode for sure! Lanfear was in full moon mistress mode
36:16 yup, Nynaeve is pure reaction
Hahaha... their reaction when Ishamael caress Rand's face, and then Rand turned into Lanfear...
“What’s this obsession with throat, head and kneeling.” Bruh. 😂😂😂😂😂
Shout out from South Africa. Loving the reactions 👑
Much love!!! Thanks for tuning in!

My fav epsiode so far this season was definitely #3 with Nyneve going through the arches. Her actress was so good! And I loved seeing more about her.
1:05:08 yes, if the last battle happen next episode, everyone would be fighting each other. . .
This is my favorite episode because the Seanchan are crazy. Obey, await and serve!!!!

the drip upgrade 😄
lanfear really said 'i've been thinking about this for three thousand years'
