I LOVE these drums. I have the smooth and hammered versions and will never sell either. They can take just about any tuning, head combo, or hoops (especially those beefy Ludwig twin channel marching style hoops). Really makes it easy to slot into any situation or genre.

Yes bronze, the best. I had a hammered ss version and smooth both chicago made and sold them when hurtin for cash a few years back. I've heard bronze "excites the room".
I always thought the justice snare was black beauty ss but a guy on drum history podcast the other day said that was the puppets snare and the justice was likely a tama mastercraft.

Alot of stories about what it was on Justice. but, hearing it on a nice system...sounds like A BB to my ears. either brass or bronze.
