It certainly looks good, and SOUNDS really good. The speaker kinda lost me with his attitude "gee guys,..." towards the legitimate concerns (hot engine bay air feeding into engine) that pretty much Everyone has with this exposed design.. Just post the dyno results, before/after.
+Joseph Maroun Thank you! We're constantly improving as a company and the speaker is now busy with other tasks. :) Our goal was to improve both power AND sound. Closed intake designs do not offer the distinct sporty tone that our intake makes. When the vehicle is moving, fresh air is channeled into the engine bay. When the vehicle is in traffic, at a certain point a fan will blow cool air into the engine bay. The intake air temps are well within a reasonable range and we have proven power gains on our dyno. We are aware of all sides of the argument, and must say these intakes are our most popular item and there is a great volume of positive feedback: our customers simply love the aggressive sound and gains. The first time you punch it and hear the howl, you'll fall in love with your Porsche all over again.

Also, this is our older design. Our new design has a taller heatshield that blocks out even more hot air.
