By leasing, you accept inflated sale price, you accept hideous depreciation and various fees that are higher than any gain on interest, especially considering that no one should assume any investment as safe or reliable and definitely not tax free. Aston looks like an old Ford Fusion. Yeah I am not attracted.
That's because Ford commissioned Aston Martin designers for their cars.
This sad, don’t they utilize the internet; FB, IG,TT…etc.where is this at?
$520k for a car? I rather go buy a new house i can live in the house and appreciate in value 5 years. For a car depreciate 80% in 5 years.
Who pays $525k when I could buy like 3 different used luxury cars 😑
Nitrogen? I’m sorry, what? They are charging to put “nitrogen” in tires like it’s a good thing? The air we breathe is already mostly nitrogen… wtf????
I own an alfa romeo stelvio quadrifoglio (best luxury SUV) I’ve ever owned!! I also own BMWs Ms and a Porsche. So I don’t understand why not to buy these car?? To each his own I guess.
the 720 looks cool, everything else is just another horrible crossover. i'm guessing not too many billionaires into horrible crossovers. 2023 chinese cars look like spaceships, ten times the tech for one tenth the price. like spaceships. with vitton interiors.
Paid $144k for my new-build single family home in 1997. Much better value for my money.
Why does it look like 2018 Kia ?
Since when is an Aston THIS MUCH??? 500k is insane it should be more like 250k
That 240 k car doesn’t look like a 240 k car. That’s its issue
Are any of these cars electric? That would explain it.
Every time I see those Astons dbx I am convinced those are ford escapes and I’m being 100% serious. My buddy bought a dbs 2yrs ago and when I saw him for the first time I seriously thought he was in some sort of Fusion RS, I literally thought “oh they don’t make fusion RS now and I don’t know about it?!”” I’m glad I didn’t tell him, that would piss him off.
My point is those luxury vehicles have no technological advantage over any other brand and their design is lacking. They all look the same. We have the era of mediocre vehicles like early 2000s when car makers didn’t give a shit and rolled out unreliable POS vehicles that all looked the same. They now got spoiled by Covid and think they will get away with it. Nah. I see some thin years ahead for dealerships and automakers.
Look same perform worse and cost 5x.
They're trying to sell high end luxury vehicles with tactics straight from a shady used car lot. Leftover 23's and 24's and youre still charging over sticker with BS adendum stickers?? No wonder they're still sitting there. I dont know who's running that place but they need to evaluate their current business practices
i temember when 250k was for a super exclusive pagani which were more expensive then ferraris and then they lost their minds and an audi s3 is worth 130k...madness
Slight correction and I’m sure you agree with it: S3s are not WORTH 130k, they COST that much at retail, but the buyers will soon find out that they are not worth anywhere near that. Old S3s are still attainable at a few thousand dollars. They are just a hot hatch, not worth much over a Golf GTi. At least that’s how we see it in Europe.
they’re probably coming up with these market premiums based on software that amortizes costs such as rent and other operating expenses
You would be the biggest dummy to drop that much cash on a depreciating asset
These are the cars that people like Musk, Trump, Zuckerberg, and Adelson actually waste their money on.
@@theontologistthey got it to waste at least
good news, world is filled with dummies.
Name one asset that does not depreciate at all with time and use.

I have five kids to feed but I still would like to live my teen years. Can't they lower those ridiculous insane prices so I can squander my money on those stupid cars?!!!
You can still throw your money at ten year old Maseratis and they will be just as unreliable and difficult or expensive to repair, but you’ll save 80% depreciation.
720S and the like start In the mid 300’s and can be as expensive as a half mill. Also, these are in a bit of a different predicament than other brands. Many supercar purchasers don’t give a crap about the initial price because they can afford to take a $100k+ haircut and not care
Those Aston Martin DBS are incredible but insanely overpriced. 350k tops for something like that imo.
Why buy a McLaren for $400K when I could buy a Z06 corvette getting the same performance for 1/4 the price?
Well if the dealer thinks a makeup of 200 k on the Aston is gona work... that was never a 500k car
Always lease cars. Keep your money and invest it into the index fund. Have your money grow at a pace faster than the lease %
By leasing, you accept inflated sale price, you accept hideous depreciation and various fees that are higher than any gain on interest, especially considering that no one should assume any investment as safe or reliable and definitely not tax free.
Save your money, get a reliable and older vehicle with a proper engine, keep it well maintained as the previous owners did and rather than chase speculative gain, materialise savings!
@TheRealCatof i can tell you are not rich
@TheRealCatofleasing a car can make more sense if the alternative is buying it new and trading it in 3 years. It avoids the lump sum sales tax which can save thousands, and early in the model’s life cycle the lease terms can be very good.
@TheRealCatof you wouldn't know
@TheRealCatof oh you're broke.
The alfa dealer in st pete has zero problem moving inventory
My goodness that Aston Martin DBS is absolutely beautiful 🤩. I’m just waiting to win the lottery to go pick it up😅
Damn their flooring costs must be astronomical. I sold Cadillacs and Chevrolets for parts of 5 decades 😊
I've never seen an Aston Martin sitting outside on a dealers lot. Bizarre.
I can honestly say in my area of NC. I may have seen 2 of these on the road in the last few years. We have these dealers as well. I just don’t see them driving around anywhere.
The person who buys a new Maserati or Aston Martin isn’t worried about depreciation or sticker prices.
True...but still, the people who have the money aren't buying them anyway. That's why they are sitting there.
I'd hate to be a car salesman at that dealership.
I don't know about you guys, but I will never come close to paying 200k for a car. I paid half that for my house.
