That’s exactly where a financial advisor comes in. If you’ve got someone guiding your investments, they can help you prepare for times like this, when high-end luxury cars are sitting on lots, and you could potentially make a smart purchase. Like a Ram pickup with 2+ year old ethanol fuel sitting in the tanks and lines? The tires have been sitting out in the sun. All the rubber parts are starting to rot. The diffs, trans, transfer cases, oil sump are all full of 2+ years of condensation and likely rust. The battery or batteries are suffering after 2 years of sitting.

Not sure what your talking about. That addendum sticker is not why that car is not selling. If you go to most dealerships in the USA, they all have dealer add-on's. The reason those cars aren't selling is because they are priced too high for whatever area economy that dealership is located in.

Porsche has the 911 and the image associated with quality and reliability, even with their ‘budget’ sports cars, saloons or SUVs. They also have those hideously overpriced and nonsensical EVs like the Taycan that help with the offset of government targets and penalties as well as being used as a condition to secure the more desirable and (artificially) limited sales of their high-spec 911s.
Porsche also has the supplier and dealer network and other resources of the rest of the VAG Group that includes Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda.

Every time I see those Astons dbx I am convinced those are ford escapes and I’m being 100% serious. My buddy bought a dbs 2yrs ago and when I saw him for the first time I seriously thought he was in some sort of Fusion RS, I literally thought “oh they don’t make fusion RS now and I don’t know about it?!”” I’m glad I didn’t tell him, that would piss him off.
My point is those luxury vehicles have no technological advantage over any other brand and their design is lacking. They all look the same. We have the era of mediocre vehicles like early 2000s when car makers didn’t give a shit and rolled out unreliable POS vehicles that all looked the same. They now got spoiled by Covid and think they will get away with it. Nah. I see some thin years ahead for dealerships and automakers.
