Dr Andrade has truly been a positive role model for me. I took his course at SF State and every time I left his classroom I was motivated and inspired. He has also been my advisor and has opened up doors for me to continue my education in grad school. Truly blessed to have met this man and I believe its a privilege to soak up his wisdom and knowledge!
I had the opportunity to hear him address our staff yesterday, and can honestly say that after 13-years of kick-offs for school years, his was the most inspirational. Amazing, authentic, and thought-provoking.
I just had the opportunity to hear this young man speak...he is so articulate at getting the truth out there...I enjoyed hearing him educate and speak at the (SOCC) Student of Color Conference in Yakima, Wa...he did a wonderful job as the keynote speaker and also in the workshop...I could listen to this man talk all day...
So true and powerful all teachers must watch this and reflect on how they practice. I am training Teacher in my final year and this has inspired me so much, i want to better the youth of my town and help all students regardless of their background to strive to better themselves. I live in small country New Zealand, I could relate to your philosophy. THANKX FOR THE INSPIRATION
