    I'm so tired of makeup and feeling insecure. I don't care anymore if I am pretty or not. Makeup doesn't really makes me happy although I look nicer with it. I am 27 year old but without makeup I look much younger... people say I look 15 😂😂😂

    I'm 19 I started wearing make up at 18 when I started university, after one year I'm so done with make up it made me insecure I'm checking my lips the whole time , my foundation I got anxious over the fact that maybe my make up looks ugly close up if someone get close to me I'm only thinking about how bad my foundation is looking , I got flashbacks of how I never wore make up at high school not even a lip balm and I was so confident also everyone around complimented me , my skin I used to get so many compliments on my look even tho there were no make up , I decided I'm never putting it on from now

    Today, I suddenly realized that I am going to skip my first class for make-up.
    I had three big pimples on my forehead and I was saying to myself, it can't be like this, you have to make up.
    I came to my senses for a moment and did not care about makeup. I had my hand on my face the whole time at the university service. I felt that everyone was looking at me and saying what an ugly girl you are. Look at his pimples
    I was scrolling through UA-cam to give me something to inspire me, so that I don't get on the subway and go back to my dorm, and among all the yellow videos, I saw your video.
    Actually, I'm not trying to impress a particular person with makeup, but I want everyone to see me as beautiful. It's freaking obsessive. Even though I used to wear very little makeup, it still bothers me now.
    I was not a makeup person. It is strange that life in the dormitory has made me like this. I want it to come back to me.
    Thank you so much for this video

    some women look good in makeup some dont sometimes its just the wrong makeup or sometime its any makeup that looks bad. however women look better without makeup. the usual natural look if they rock it and work around it they look so confident. however its actually the confidence to rock with or without makeup and not be so hung up dependent on things that you can live with and without stuff that evokes beauty. if you can rock any look and mindset thats sexy and beautiful.

    I'm over 40, and I use makep only on special ocasions, and even thenit's only some eyeshadow and mascara. I don't use face products- clean water for washing and only natural moisturaisung cream every now and then (not every day - just when I need it). My skin is in good condition not to greasy not to dry, no dark spots under eyes and only a verry little wrinkles (from smiling a lot). I don't know if i"m so lucky or is it the natural and minimalistic way of caring, but I'll keep doing it.

    I'm actually wearing makeup because I'm scared that someone would point out how red I am :( My skin is so thin and sensitive -you can see every vein and broken blood vessels. I'm not trying to impress anyone I just don't want to recieve any sort of feedback about my skin :( I'm sad I can't do anything about my genetic makeup. Thank you for this video.

    Tbh, I have too much time to care about others. And getting so jealeous about others. I just sit home, no friends, i dont like going outside etc.

    • @isabelwicker
      @isabelwicker  10 місяців тому +2

      I'm sorry to hear you're in this position, but fortunately I have some great news. Based off what you told me, you are in complete control to change your situation. This means all you have to do is CHOOSE! Make the choice to do the opposite of what you're doing right now. Let me give you some examples. 1. instead of ruminating in jealousy, uplift yourself with affirmations such as " other people's beauty does not take away from my own" " I am capable of appreciating other peoples beauty" " I believe I am beautiful". Even if you do not believe these things, say them anyways. 2. Instead of sitting at home, go to the gym, go visit a new coffee shop, go visit family or friends, search for hobbies that interest you and attend those hobbies! My favorite hobbies are rock climbing and salsa dancing. It may not come easy, but if you really want to change you must push yourself past your comfort zone. 3. Instead of thinking you have no friends, make an effort to make friends by introducing yourself to someone new or looking for local groups in your area you can attend where people participate in activities that interest you. 4. If you don't like going outside but want to try, push yourself to spend just 5 minutes each day outside and find 1 thing to appreciate about nature. My love goes out to you because I know life is hard but please do not be a victim of your circumstances. Choose the current discomfort of discipline over future pain of regret.

      Hi Alex, I'd love to continue making content that benefits people but I'm a bit stuck on what to make. Do you have any suggestions and/or topics you would like me to address? 😊

    • @Alex-eq5id
      @Alex-eq5id 10 місяців тому

      Hmm The topic can be anything actually. Think about something u care abt right now. Maybe make some guides for instance how not to care abt others opinions or how to meet new people (it would be very helpfull for me rn 😅), what to do alone, how you did something. Being honest most of the audience are teenagers so think about what would you like to know earlier, how your high school looked (or is looking) like etc. Or talk abt how canon of beauty is annoying and making women insecure and ppl can tell their opinion in the comments. I believe you will find some cool topic. I hope to see you soon on the screen!! 🤍

      @isabelwicker  10 місяців тому +1

      I don't know you but I PROMISE you that you are unique. I believe God created us all to be one of a kind, each of us with our own special traits. I also had a rough childhood, but the point I try to make in the video is our innate child like spirit is something we tend to undervalue. We try to appear super attractive on the outside, and while that's nice, let us not forget that what truly makes us beautiful is our spirit. And I believe part of our true spirit is revealed in childhood, before the world had its chance to really affect you and shape you.
