GWM TANK 300 - How Big A Tyre Can You Fit?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 сер 2023
- We tried a 33” tyre and I felt we could go bigger. Check out the new rim and tyre package we’re going to go with and if it’s actually going to work on the GWM TANK 300 💯💯💯

Everyone playing with these Tank 300s have been nothing but impressed with them 🥳🥳🥳
What's unimpressive is the load capacity of 400kg
That’s why I’m waiting on the Tank 600
@@michaelhermans4753This thing has been out in China for three years and its only being debut here. Considering that I think the newer models are gonna be a long long wait.
There is none available that's the problem.
Can't even get 300.
I was dead set on getting the Tank 300 but after test driving the Tank 500 I changed my mind. The 500 engine have plenty of power plus the interior is so much more comfortable. Non the less I will enjoy watching your progress on your Tank 300.
Tank 500 is not available in Australia yet.
@@garylab7934 I’m aware of that. But here on Saudi Arabia it’s been out for few months now. Actually I can’t wait for it to be released in Australia so we would enjoy the aftermarket parts coming from there.
Honestly from what I’ve seen the 500 will not have the cult following that the 300 does .
There’s just something special about the 300 that is hard to describe.
Argh your really changing my mind of getting one of these instead of a Everest! Currently have a cannon x but wanting a wagon and this is defs leaning more my way now with the bigger tires 😂
Can't wait for the lift!
Looks like a little beast!
Honestly the 34s are perhaps a little too big on the 300 without a bit of a lift. I think the easy thing for people who want to keep it mostly stock (since it is quite capable off road already in stock form) is to just have a set of those 33 AT tires you used in the previous video. On the stock suspension I think the 33s look almost perfect.
Looks great, well done. Can you open and close the doors ok when it's up on the fork?
I’ll have to give that a go
Did you put spare on back? What’s weight difference in stock vs others must be significant to concern you
Gday bud. The new GWM cannon XSR dual cab Ute has TWIN LOCKED and the big remote fan you can switch on. Give it a quick look mate
I actually have this model in China, it is called the "limited offroad version" and the highest spec has nitrogen shocks from a local brand called K-Man.
If you want to modify this car, just find all kinds of components in China. things like portal axle, solid front swap, electric suction tail gate, and control arm included lift kits with specified adjustable dampers, are not hard to find on the market. For lift kits, I know that K-man did a good job on this car.
longer rear arms will help by the looks and a bump stop extension :)
Onto it 👌
You gotta check the front clearance while the back is in the air.
Apparently the tyre leaves the ground when breaking, I wonder if it is fixed with new suspensions
I'm planning to get new tyres/rims in a few weeks. I want a large, chunky look, but I'm also concerned about maintaining decent performance around town. Do these tyres significantly reduce speed on various road conditions? What size would you recommend to achieve both aesthetics and performance? I realize there are multiple factors to consider, so any advice would be helpful.
The TANK doesn’t suffer that much from bigger tyres because of the turbo and high boost. I’d suggest a 285 33” tyre
😂 haha looks so mint on 34s
Tuffest Lada ever.
I have a set of 285/75r18 X-At’s on a plus 25 wheel on my cannon, do you think it would be worth keeping them when I change it for a tank 300? Or are they too big.
Also would you recommend a hybrid or non hybrid?
The power increase for the Hybrid .... thats what im going for!
Heat gun on the front might remedy the tyre touch
Looks pretty tough like a Chinese Bronco
Chinese G Wagon ❤
передние колеса бьют в стабилизатор при повороте?
A competitor with a pilots license video bombing you😂
Nice rims 👌 What is the width and ET?
18x9 +18 👌
I have read and seen the issue under heavy breaking. Have you been able to address this issue at all?
Change of suspension will fix that. But honestly I haven’t found it to be a problem
👍👍👍👍👍
Interested to see how far you can mod this.
Have you seen our Y62 or Jimny. We don’t tend to much around 👌
@@DASHOffRoad That's great mate. Glad you don't muck around and show us good mods. Thank you David
Yeah it’s decent! You will need mud guards
Have you worked out how the indicator works?
Yeah, all sudsed. Just a half press and it turns off
That plane noise is no good Dave, you'll have to move your business again, it's about that time of year isn't it 😜 jokes
Haha. We just expanded, so give me another 12 months
Can you fit 37’s with 2” lift 😂
We will see
Be interested once it has all the fruit if a patrol is much worse on fuel
If you're worried about fuel economy 4x4s arent for you lol
@@Jacobtheunwise no joke.
Australian petrol price per liter??
@@user-ez9rw5lm5w 8.50 - 11 yuan depends where you live
Petrol price is $1.95 in Queensland in my area
Dyno time and re map.
Absolutely 💯 💯 💯
How rude of that plane to interrupt you. I mean could the pilot not pull over for a second or take another way instead of flying above you and disturbing the content ?
😅☝️🤣😂😅
