"Everyone here today knows that our songs are only complete when we play them live, right?" . This is what vocalist Asami said to the audience before playing this song on the first day of the revival concert. This song, "Stand and Deliver," was written with the idea that the audience would sing along once the restrictions imposed by COVID were relaxed. Fortunately, this concert was specially deregulated. The audience and members were delighted at the surprise when the management staff informed them of this just before the concert began.

The Japanese metal/rock scene is incredible. so many elite muscians. Lovebies is the most talented metal band I've heard in 5 decades of listening to all the big boys. In terms of musicianship they are without peers.
As an OG guitarist/touring musician/songwriter and producer, mad respect on that song! I've heard Lovebites a thousand times, from a hundred different influencers, but your song made my day. It's strong and unique, at the same time, excellent. Advertise if you make it to the southeast, I'll come and support you.
Nice work on your music! nice melodies, and a few sustained high notes there as well! When I heard the studio version of "Stand and Deliver", I thought, how the hell is she gonna sing this for a live audience? OK Asami, we see and hear you!!
I’ve followed LOVEBITES for three years, yet I’m continually amazed at the power of Asami’s voice and the seemingly endless range she has. Including MC breaks and encores, during a typical full set she is singing mostly in that high register for 90 minutes. Yet she sounds exactly the same at the end as she does at the beginning. If she sang mainstream shit she would be a household name. I’m glad she doesn’t and I’m also glad she isn’t. LOVEBITES deserve success and every accolade possible, but they have their feet planted firmly on the ground. Japanese ground.
The best thing about Lovebites reaction videos are when a working or retired musician is doing the reaction. Whereas anyone can appreciate these incredible ladies talent, when one is a musician one truly understands just how incredibly talented and awe-inspiring these ladies are. You are only the second reactor that I have seen that noticed that voice to guitar solo magic Asami effortlessly pulled off. The last few times I was this impressed by groups was Metasllica and Megadeth in the 80's and then Tool. Looking forward to these ladies next few albums. Wow, could you react to Miyako's "How I create my heavy metal demo" part 1 and part 2, on Miyako's official channel? Maybe it's too nerdy a request, but I was a part of the live stream that you did, where chat wrote a song and you composed it and sang it and it was pretty awesome, seeing that process. Maybe you wouldn't want to react to it, as each video is about 18 minutes, and sort of nerdy, musically, but I am sure you would have insights as a songwritewr that I am missing. I agree that some of the sound mixing in this concert is inferior to some of their previous concerts. But its LOVEBITES, so even with imperfect sound mixing, they are still freakin' awesome.
In an otherwise great reaction it's too bad that the song got replayed in mono which pretty much kills the guitars in the mix. I admit that with a lot of bands that could even be beneficial to the sound, but surely not with M&M ... 🙂 I don't know the technical side behind it, but it happens to other reactors, too, from time to time. And it shouldn't. Your band's song clearly is in stereo. Speaking of which: good luck with your band!
OK - I thought the sound was a bit flat. I usually listen in headphones. But now I used the speakers. So, I blamed them. My headphones are very good. But, now I hear that it is mono. I think I have heard that once from another reactor.
