Speaking of Megadeath, Marty knows both guitarists of LB. There is a video where Midori and Miyako discuss their favorite guitarists and they jam together with Marty. Marty obviously knew personally all of them
I am 63, so I spent my 20s in the 1980's and discovered Iron Maiden in 1982 (Iron Maiden is still my favorite metal band and I will see them later this year). The founder of the band, ex-bassist Miho, is a massive Iron Maiden and Steve Harris fan (the new bassist, Fami, is in this mv) and that type of sound is in the band's DNA. My introduction to Lovebites was a little more than 4 years ago when I saw their mv to the song Rising. To be honest, I liked the song but it didn't really grab me. Then I saw the mv for the song When Destinies Align, and my jaw hit the floor. It is still my favorite Lovebites music video and the song was composed by the guitarist Miyako with lyrics by the vocalist Asami - ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
BTW, Stand and Deliver was co-composed by Miyako and Asami, with lyrics by Asami.

Yeah, The Hammer of Wrath is another good choice. I don’t think I mention Stand and Deliver as much, but the song probably has a wider appeal than some other songs (being a bit different, and the music video gives a very happy look into the band), and so I probably should include it as another good introduction song to the band. Anyway, I’m glad people recommend it, because I don’t seem to. 🤷♂️
For non-MV or non-live songs, I think some preferred choices to recommend are Soldier Stands Solitarily, Dissonance, Paranoia, and Dystopia Symphony. Then if I’m being honest here, when including them with Judgement Day and A Frozen Serenade, are together some of the better Lovebites songs IMO.

He has achieved ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. In fact, as a person and a troll, he has been an abject failure. The band continues to have its momentum and is coming out with new material soon and they have just expanded their world tour to 3 additional US cities. This troll doesn't even exist in their eyes since his online trolling efforts doesn't even make a nano-dent in the real world. Moreover, his huffing and puffing against the fanbase/community (call them "tribe" if you like) has not deterred the fans from commenting and contributing. In fact, the reverse has happened - his malicious activities have galvanized the community and they can now quite easily see through his ruses since the community is very well informed of what this individual entails. So, the only thing that this person "achieved" (if you can even call it that) is being a nuisance and a pest. So, the only respect he deserves is to be treated like a fly to be swatted off the wall.
Most community members can now see right though this individual and won't fall into any of his attempted "traps". However, there're a few who're still vulnerable and susceptible to his attempted deceptions, like our other friend who believes he knows Asami in the real world, and this is one of his "blind spots". This is the primary reason for my initial discussion with you in this thread, because you seem to be "sympathetic" to the troll in your initial replies in this thread and your conversation in the other thread. Having said that, I must admit that I'm probably wrong and you're probably aware of the insidious intentions of this troll. Welcome to Lovebites and the wolfpack of Lovebites fans. As good as this was there is a whole lot to this band. They play a full range of heavy metal. They have songs heavier than this, with a Metallica/Slayer vibe. They have songs faster than this with a DragonForce vibe, and they have songs with a more traditional NWOBHM vibe like Iron Maiden/Judas Priest. They also have slower songs that are emotional and soft where the second lead guitarist shreds the piano. Phenomenal band all around and you will be blown away with their talent. Next song by them is a live version of Judgement day found on their UA-cam channel.
They are big fans of '80s metal. They do power, thrash and speed metal. They have covered Painkiller by Judas Priest and Eagle Fly Free by Helloween. Their song The Crusade is their Iron Maiden homage. This song has a strong Motorhead vibe. In other songs you can hear Slayer and Metallica influences. They've toured the UK with Dragonforce. The name comes from the Halestorm song "Love bites (so do I)". The lead singer Asami has performed the song with Halestorm at a few festivals where both bands were appearing. Asami is only 4'10" so Lzzy Hale and the rest of the band tower over her. The dark haired guitarist, Miyako, has an EP, Etude Op.23, of solo piano transcriptions by her of songs by Metallica, Helloween, Deep Purple, Gary Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, & Lovebites. Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in
2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany
2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England
2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium
2019 - Download Festival in Spain.
In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward.

They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. Greetings from an old and veteran Spanish wolf.
They are wonderful. The best heavy metal band in the world today. Without discussion. The other big bands are relics from 40 years ago playing the same old songs with their aging members. Wonderful bands but they never stop being the same.
These gorgeous girls are a breath of fresh air. Clean and forceful sound, and above all lyrics full of optimism, hope and positive energy, I am already tired of those dark, sad, negative, self-destructive, antisocial groups that only know how to complain and lament.
...And special mention to Asami, my beloved Asami. When she makes the appearance of her making her dress dance, I drool, I am hypnotized.
Miyako, Midori, Haruna and Fami are the other four goddesses that make up the Olympus of heavy metal.
And in this powerful song...they are wonderful, both dressed as what they are, princesses, as normal girls who are going to do their job, and always good friends and fun.
Lovebites in Motörhead mode, Lemmy would be proud. They are versatile, and can do anything, from softer ballad-y songs, to power metal at break neck speed, to face melting thrash metal. Whatever they do, they do it extremely well, and I am partial to their more thrashy stuff. Miyako, the guitar player with long black hair, is a world class pianist, her piano cover of Helloween's Eagle Fly Free is sublime. The guitarist in the red shirt is Midori, M&M can duel for days, how many bands can say that they have two amazing lead guitarists?
Song suggestions you say? Hmm, let's see... There's the Iron Maiden-esque The Crusade, and the wholesome We the United, the latter being somewhat of an anthem dedicated to their fans. On their more thrashy side we have Break the Wall, Set the World On Fire, The Hammer of Wrath, Dissonance, Thunder Vengeance, and M.D.O. Judgement Day, Shadowmaker, Burden of Time, Winds of Transylvania, When Destinies Align, Nameless Warrior and Swan Song (with Chopin intro) are on the more speedy side of things. A Frozen Serenade, Edge of the World, and Epilogue are a bit more soft. Oh, and they are best experienced live.
Everything they've done has a classic 80s metal sound to it, but with the modern freshness they bring. Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023.
This year in June LOVEBITES‘ first world tour starts in Europe. In September they will play their biggest headline show ever in Tokyo. After that LOVEBITES will have their US debut …

She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

You've come upon one of the best metal bands in a long time. They have songs across the spectrum and many of their songs have the 70/80's rock and metal band influence. Most videos are best with live performances, just a few, like this one, I enjoy more of their music videos. Namely Shadowmaker and Winds of Transylvania, the rest all Live.

Well, UA-cam algorithm brought me here for the first time. Thanks so much for reacting to mind-blowing Lovebites and spreading the word because they deserve more recognition. These Japanese women are extremely talented, skillful, versatile and proficient musicians. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Slayer, Helloween, Deep Purple, Angra, Dragonforce, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Moore, etc., but they have been developing their own and unique style. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako (M&M) are already legendary, in just seven years. Their live performances are just outstanding and you won’t believe their outfits. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is also a concert level classical pianist. Some people say that they’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience.
Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus.
Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means.
For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult.
From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver.
"Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!"
Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king.☠️
Asami wanted to avoid that.
Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver.
Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning.
Stand up and be free!
Rise up and be free!
Arise and be free!
Let's get up and be free!
From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics.

You really live in a bubble, hehe. Lovebites has existed since 2016 and although they mostly make PowerMetal and Thrash Metal, they usually wander through a multitude of other musical genres, even combining several in a single song.
Yeah unfortunately 2016, I didn't have the chance to relax and check out tunes 🤣🤣🤣 so I'm thankful I can now.
Band maid are a very poor comparison to Lovebites, this is without any doubt the best and most talented band on the planet right now.......period!!! Definitely are unique but definitely have that 80s influence. Nothing wrong with that and doesn't take away their talent as a female band at all!
