Knew it😂 since I saw the adorable smile on your face in your other lessons when reminding us the pronunciation of rolling i. By the way thanks for the lesson you are the best teacher ever.😊
Bonjour Dylane et comment allez vous! You discuss the pronunciation of I and Y (/i/---/j/) with example in a very pretty easy way. This lesson will be very helpful to us for learning French using IPA. Merci beaucoup pour votre Lesson 22.
Joyeux is one of my hardest words to say. So can you imagine what it is like when I go to France for Christmas. I would have thought I could have mastered it by now, but it must be because of your rolling i 😉. However, explaining it the way you have has made it easier for me to get, I just need practice now 👍🏻
a long time ago in the 1980s I used to go to a place, bar/café type place, called Le Bateau Ivre. One time I took a French-speaking friend there and she couldn't believe its name! At least now I can say it correctly. Wow, I just found out it's still there, hard to believe, in Berkeley, CA.
Bonjour, Dylane! I have a question about the î in Michel Polnareff's It sounds like he's singing "calih-ine." Perhaps this is just a singing style in French, like singing an "e" that would normally be silent?
I find it very difficult to hear the difference between the two i-sounds. When you say that one of them is your favourite sound I feel frustrated. Could you please explain in more detail the characteristica of the flat i sound and the rolling i sound?
Yeux and Yacht Seem as different as Zoo and You ? I can hear the difference but I don't think my mouth can make those shapes necessary for French pronunciation.
I found your input mistake in your video. You indicated that the English translation of “Un hymne” was “To have.” Note: In your book it’s “An anthem.” So”, it’s accurate.

You're welcome 😊
merci beaucoup pour un informatif vidéo.
De rien :)
Hi miss Dylane, awesome lesson pronunciation....🤩🤩🤩😍
Oh hello ❤️ is it you who liked the video as soon as I posted it? 😍
Bonjour, Dylane! I have a question about the î in Michel Polnareff's It sounds like he's singing "calih-ine." Perhaps this is just a singing style in French, like singing an "e" that would normally be silent?
I think it's just the way he sings because it's pronounced as a regular word outside of this song ;)
Merci!@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
Thanks, for the french lesson, I didn't know that, I and Y different letters, different sounds, see ya.
I am glad you learned something then 🙂
A beginner 👏👍🇰🇪

it was bit compicated, thank you for explanation.

Merci beaucoup pour tes videos. Essaie un peu de changer le début de tes videos nous le trouvons la même chose.

Tu peux juste passer l'intro ;)

We made it a couple of days ago :)
Dear Dylane. A lot of words in Hindi language are same as in Francais.
I had no idea :D

I found your input mistake in your video.
You indicated that the English translation of “Un hymne” was “To have.”

Yes it was a copy paste mistake :)
Hello, "un hymne" doesn't mean "to have" - typo I think, thanks
Oops! Thank you for pointing it out :)
