    Your teaching techniques are flawless. It takes someone with a big heart filled with loads of kindness to give quality content like this for free. I'm quite surprised. I had checked earlier if you tutor because I wanted to pay and learn from you. But I saw that you don't. So I just watch these lectures and compliment them with my private tutor's here in India. Honestly, your kindness is so contagious that it's worth catching. Shine on.

    From what I am hearing in the video of you pronouncing the words, it really reminds me of speaking european portuguese in these cases. We drop e's all the time, especially in day to day speaking. It doesn't feel, to me, like the e is "silent" but more like de-voiced when you say it slowly. It's almost like a small exasperation of air at the end versus fully pronouncing anything. I am talking about when the e is at the end specifically here

    Buen dia, maestra: I just finished watching this important video twice, 45 minutes, and I learned a lot. I continue to be impressed with your intellect: Your English is excellent with your cute accent and it is obvious you enjoy teaching and sharing your extensive knowledge experience of the French language with your students. I do have a concern, I must share with you: at the beginning of the video, I made myself comfortable as you suggested, with 1/2 glass of milk and three Piroulines but I ended up consuming a full glass of milk and six Piroulines due to the interesting nature of the video. OMG, I have to hit the gym soon to burn those extra calories! I am going to buy the Pronunciation book to complement your excellent videos that I will continue watching. Muchisimas gracias!

    I really love this course and especially this lesson. I am confused, however, and hope that you can respond. I know that the "e" is silent in a word like "la rue," but when you pronounce it in the lesson there is definitely some remnant of the "e" sound there. The same is true with other words. I've heard this when other French teachers pronounce words standing alone, though not in a full sentence with other words. I would appreciate it if you could explain.

    Un grand merci pour cette série, j’apprends beaucoup et affiner mes français.
    At last, I think understand something very important. Je crois !
    When you say, I do not sound the E at the end of a word. I always hear you sound it !!!!
    It is because in English, we say B as bee, one clean syllable, in French you say B’eh. With D we say dee, in French Dee’er. With the I is eye, French it is ee’er.
    …and so on with many other consonants.
    I think the lack of knowledge how to pronounce each letter in french has caused my confusion. N’est-ce pas ?? M’aidez, s’il vous plait !

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  3 роки тому +3

      I know it's very confusing Mike :/ , it happens with L and B, the natural pronunciation makes it sounds like we pronounce it but we don't.
      You will get better at hearing all the sounds when we start focusing on sounds, very soon!
