Bonjour, I follow your videos and it helps me to understand different pronunciations and sounds... I am learning French through your videos... thank you very much...
Bonjour Dylane et comment allez vous! You discuss different pronunciations of C with example in a very easy way in this lesson & this is very helpful to learn French by using IPA. We are very grateful to your effort. Merci beaucoup pour votre Lesson.
I heard the pronunciation of seconde very early in my french learning journey and I couldn't fathom why it sounded like segonde, I never really looked into as I was a very early beginner at the time, I knew I would probably come across it at some point and now I know my ears were correct and it is pronounced like a g! Learning in every lesson! 🙂
Bonjour Dylane! I am working through the pronunciation lessons and am so grateful to have such a great teacher. I have a question that I suspect you will address later, but I am curious. With many words that end in a consonant sound (usually), you add an "e" sound to the word, even though there is no "e" or other vowel at the end. My question is how does one know when that "e" sound should be included? It's like the opposite of a silent letter - the pronunciation of a sound that doesn't appear to be included in the word. I hope that question makes sense. Thank you again for all of your wonderful content!
Copy paste of the comment I just left you so people who are wondering the same have an answer here too :) "It's all about the word stress ;) The lesson about this is at the end of the playlist. Check it out now if this confuses you :)"
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane i had to use google translate for that one. unfamiliar with this term I learned that de rien meant you're welcome. Now I know another. So again thank you.
Bonjour Dylane! I'm wondering if you are able to talk about palatalisation of the /k/ or /g/sounds in spoken French. For example, "café" is seemingly pronounced more often as [kʲafe] ("kya fe" if you were to spell it out more like English) rather than [kafe]. Similar with the word "garçon" or "gâteau". I'm hearing that when the letters c, g, and qu are followed by certain vowels, they are palatalised.
This was very interesting, when you had just the letters up without the words I though "oh my" but then when you put up the words it makes sense and really helps. I was pleased about the ___ct words, as we do already say them phew! I came across a word earlier when I was doing mes devoirs, the word is "caoutchouc" WOW, must have been the same person who made up "pneu" 🤣 That will take me a while to get right. So looks like I'm getting to the end of this amazing course, I'll be ordering the Grammar one now 👍🏻
Thanks a lot..... you are the perfect teacher..... Merci !!!!!!
Thank you! 😃

wow, une seconde/le second, like a "g," i didn't realize that! yet another horrible mispronunciation of mine corrected, thank you!
ahah Paul you are too hard with yourself, I am sure nobody can hear if you pronounce it C 😉
Dylane❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💐🙏
Hi what is the difference between aspect and direct.for aspect we do not read CT,but we read CT for the word direct.
Thanks for your great French teaching. Does "p" pronounce "b" in suspect --- susbect? aspect - asbect? respect - resbect? Thank you!
No it's pronounced P :)
Any rules on _ct -> when it's [kt] and when it's silent?
Unfortunately no, those have to be learned by heart :/
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane OKay good to know I'm not missing something
Super
Merci ❤️
C in French (hard C) is more like Slender C in Irish ([c]). Hard C in French is like C in Cube.
Qu is more like [k]
8:41 Madame is _ _ _ct silent in most cases , when it's after pe like suspect, respect (not in verb) or are there exceptions?
No exceptions that I can think of right now :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Merci beaucoup madame 🌹🌹
Salut ma professeure.
Salut Moises ✨

Mam dylan bonjour are you working in moreau company

9:56....
Ma'am here
Le second =The second
OR
La second =The second
Which one is correct Ma'am?
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Both are correct.
La seconde = second as in time
Le second = second as in rank (Le second livre - The second book)
