- In this video we bring you inside into one of our PT sessions As the summer class nears OCS time, we increase the intensity. The run we do here is to burn the thighs and to build the mind. We ended up doing a 1.5 mile to the hill, 5 runs up the hill and back ,and individual run back.

Summer Candidate here, love your channel. Lot of good information to add to the BullDog program at my college. Thank you and keep sharing what you know to help us Candidates.
Caleb Roberts, thank you
I like that, there is no plan B. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach OCS
I love this channel. I'm an applicant and have been informing myself and educating myself as much as possible to be the best candidate ever when the time comes. Semper Fi!
This is amazing. I am training for OCS this summer and this is pushing me even harder to crush my training. Thank you sir.
My only suggestion is to get everyone used to running in formation at a set pace. I don't recall any individual runs at OCS other than the e-course and the PFTs. Candidates need to get used to being pushed beyond their limits while not falling out of formation.
You MOST definitely attack Da Nang during at least one of the Fartleks, and it is fucking brutal.
you do run Da Nang on fartleks
I can confirm... It's a good time (if you like the burpee-verson of sprints)
i’m 16 right now and i really want to be an officer i’ve scored slightly above average on the ASVAB and i’m trying to get into nrotc when i go to college, physically i’m doing track and cross country and trying to work my upper body as much as i can. do you have any advice for me about becoming an officer?
Find a good pull up plan, then develop a good run and stretch plan.
Once a week, I will:
Run a fartlek that involves pushups, pull-ups, jump-squats, and an ab exercise.
Run sprints (changes week to week from 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and incline sprints).
Run 3 miles as fast as possible.
Run 5-6 miles at an 8-9 min/mile pace.
Stretch and foam roll your legs and back often. Learn how to take care of your body, not just working it to the bone.
Where is this hill at?
