Again , this level of high quality production is insane!
Yeah it's like a fighting contest in a sci fi movie or the future
@@Mistanyycguy ❤️🙏
Tekken vibe
Yeah, because they're both mostly CGI.
Did not expect the Wado guy to throw more Gedan Mawashi Geri than the Kyokushin guy.
I know Zsiga didn't win the contract but I do hope we see him in the Pit again. We need more Kyokushin fighters in the organization and he looks like he could be a fun addition after he makes some further adjustments to his game.
For the moment the best fighters in karate combat come from sportive karate (WKF). They won against fighter from mma and even kyokushin
It was an okay fight but I'm gonna be real, I think it's stupid that since it's meant to be full contact karate with modified take downs/ground and pound rules, it's pretty dumb that they take out proper leg kicks. Whats this calf kick only bullshit? That favours the sport karate styles/mcdojos cause they don't know how to take an actual leg kick on the thigh. So simply put it favours point karate styles cause the other advantage in the rules for point karate is the takedowns. Kyokushin do learn valuable takes down but not until 1st dan and above and that's where the efficient judo comes in. In Kyokushin the thigh leg kicks are the bread and butter of the style. The proper leg kicks are known to smash other karate styles and drops them like their legs have been cut off by a chainsaw. Their on par with Muay Thai kicks. If karate combat really wanted the match ups to be fair to equal it out between styles, they would allow those kicks considering a style like Kyokushin doesn't have head punches in tournament. So then the sport karate would have to work on conditioning with proper leg kicks. And Kyokushin would have to work on head punches and take downs. That would be more fair Considering they all cross train these rules are quite crappy to be honest.. allow normal leg kicks and knees. Knees are part of karate too. But two disadvantages to Kyokushin style while sport karate has 3 or more advantages in the rules is a bit bullshit in my opinion. Thorpe literally bear hugged him two thirds of the fight and smile cause he knows he's wasting time. That's not karate. It was quite boring.
Great production quality. Also two great athletes showing great ability and skill. Zsolt will be the hardest lawyer when he graduates
Jesse Enkamp the karate nerd in the background at 3:47
HAHA is amazing
Of course taking content because he has now evolved into a you-tuber first and a karateka second
We could see two the biggest problems about kyokushin fighters - distance and face punching. Extremly in this rules without knee and low kicks
A lot of wasted energy in that style looks good when you can pull it off but the Muy Thai kicks and dirty boxing comes out on top
Yes, there are literally no punches, especially on the head. I don't want to imagine what a boxer with some leg work would do with them.
@@MrSaiyan333also because they fight in the phone booth(short stance), i wanted to join a kyokshin tournament as a shotokan practitioner and was told i would have to assimilate and do their style to get a winning advantage.
Excelente Combate.👏👏
I dont know about the cgi crowd in the background lol
Incredible production well done.
lmao is that Jesse Enkamp as a camera man????
I noticed that too!
Thorpe is the future of this division. Such a dominant performance!
That's my boy right there 🔥🔥
asombroso
The revolution
In karatè combat the best fighters come from sportive karate (WKF). They win against fighters from mma and even kyokushin. On this video, we can see (AGAIN) a semi contact karate competitor of WKF winning against a kyokushin competitor.
They didn't use the sport karate technique. All they use is a realistic combat technique. Look at the stance they use.
If they use a sport stance, their face will be an easy target for land punch or kick.
What i see here is Enshin Karate vs Kyokushin Karate
@@ardriyadh132 i don’t think you know sport karate… in sport karate you can employ short stance as long stance. Short stance is dangerous because of throwing techniques. Tell me a single hit (kicks, punches or throws) that doesn’t exist in sport karate. Only hook punches. Watch Aghayev, silver medalist of Olympics, he fights in the same way of Olympic karate, no difference, he just has not to control his hits. Watch into reality man.
TBH I expected the Kyokushin guys to dominate given that they're doing full contact from the get go.
In karatè combat the best fighters come from sportive karate (WKF). They win and win against fighters from mma and even kyokushin competitors.
Those who hesitate meditate. Black pants needs to learn to be first and quit waiting around for the other guy to hit him. 80% hands/ 20% feet. This fancy ass taekwando shit hardly ever works.
Is not Kyokushin, Kyokushin why not brutal?
Should invite some Kudo Fighter and fix the ring, 45° wall is not good for fight.
That fight was so BAD. Really
Gaya bertarung kyokushin memang begitu..kalo mau cari nilai gaya lain lebih cocok..
Thorpe is going places.
CONGRAT!!!
THIS A KICK BOXING NO KARATE
Kickboxing is basically Kyokushin/Seidokaikan karate with a little Muay Thai and boxing in the mix. Not that different to be honest. If the rules don't forbid hooks and low kicks then karate looks pretty much like kickboxing.
