Great job daughters helping mom with the video. I am doing the pantry challenge won't be youtubing for it but will be participating not so much to save money more to get rid of some things that just need to be used up so I can stock things that we will be more likely to use because of diet changes. Can't wait to see your meal plan.
Hi Momma bear , Thankfully you all are blessed with all that good food , that you all put all your hard work into canning and all that hard work is paying off😊❤ . It's a true blessing to have all that in the pantry to be able to feed your family. Your daughter did great at filming. Prayers and Hugs sent to you all !! 🤗
I was thinking the very same thing. She sounds and looks just like you. In our family we call that a mini me. How beautiful. God has blessed you tremendously.
You will have many delicious meals just out of your pantry & freezers. Your children help so much and such a blessing to you. You all work so hard to do what has to be done. Have a great day.
I was thinking I wonder how many have done a pantry challenge while being two hours away with a baby in NICU!😂 You let nothing stop you! May God bless you abundantly spiritually, physically (health for Azariah), financially! I pray He will give the doctors and you wisdom, knowledge and understanding in regards to Azariah medical needs and future living arrangement!
I just found a wonderful sale on roasts this week. They were on sale for $3.47 per pound. Going to can another batch. Just got a Presto digital pressure canner for Christmas. Excited to can the roast as it is shelf stable.
I have heard of the Three Rivers challenge but not seen it in action. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with your selection from your pantry. I always enjoy your cooking videos. What a good reminder to use up what you have stored away. Continuous prayers for you all. Have a blessed weekend 🙏❤️❤️❤️🏴
I am not doing a pantry challenge, but I frequently "shop" in my basement for basic ingredients like flour, rice, bread flour, etc. I have five gallon buckets of bread flour, all purpose flour, and rice. I also have salt, honey, a gallon of brown sugar, and I will have a gallon of dairy free chocolate chips when the bags come in the mail. I always keep a supply of baking essentials on hand so that we can have pies, cakes, cookies, and homemade breads. Even if we don't do the pantry challenge, I try to eat what we have before it goes off.
Wow. Great job collecting all of that useful food! Might as well use it up if you have it. Cannot wait to see the Challenge. Have a nice weekend- and prayers to your sweet beautiful baby boy!❤
Wow! Great job, girls! I’m sure your mother feels like she can be at peace knowing all that work is in good hands. It will be interesting to see what all your meals will be. You’ve adjusted well to your new season of life. ❤️🙏🏼
In fourteen days only spent $20 on groceries! I grew Celery first time this year as well. I'm told it can go through more than one winter and gets sweet after cold weather. The ladies did a great video again!
Shopping my pantries and freezers for January. Using up things. Or just rotating. There are things we overlook that are not our favorite. So we have them. Using up freezer meats and odds and ends. So glad this is soup weather. We have lots of venison steaks, hamburger and breakfast sausage. Will be using that indifferent ways. Blessings to you and your wonderful family!
Your daughters are incredible. So helpful and caring. I am in soup mode as I have a cold. Soup it is and if I know me I will be on that kick for a few weeks. Love to you all.
I love how you chase your dreams!! So, I think you just need to follow your heart ❤️ I believe in you, and I think your gut instinct will give you your answer. I hope you have a wonderful New Year and 2025 brings you peace and joy!
This will be fun to see what recipes you come up with. That peach bbq sauce looks seriously good. I'm going to do the pantry challenge, maybe just for a month, because with the inflation going up, I still want to keep some stuff stocked. I don't want to deplete everything, especially this year. But that's just me. But I have some stuff I want to move through and rotate, so this will be a good way to do it, plus save a little money on the side too. Edited to say, great video, by the way, and per usual, your daughters did a great job videoing:)
Your daughter did a wonderful job getting everything together. Can't wait to see what meals you make from all of this. Thank you for sharing this. Prayers for all of you.🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
Great job ladies! As for the pantry challenge? I have not graduated to the pantry challenge yet. I’m lucky I can coordinate three meals a day for just the three of us!😂 I will need more training for a pantry challenge!❤
Your daughter did a great job with gathering some of your food storage! Having all of the work that went into canning and preserving all your food will certainly help with the #ThreeRiversChallenge! Looking forward to seeing your meals that you come up with!
Hi Momma Bear and Daughter! Momma Bear- your daughter in this video looks and sounds so much like you; she is beautiful and is doing such a great job in helping you and the whole family- what a sweetheart ❤❤ Looks like your stockpile will last for at least a couple of months! I have a small stockpile too and add to it when things are on a good sale. I hope you all have a Blessed Day too 🙏🙏
It is just my husband and I but we have NO room in our freezers so that is my focus for January into Feb then we will start on the canned stuff so I will have jars for garden time. Thanks so much for the wonderful updates
I can definitely see a few curries to be made with all that coconut milk you have! Condensed milk if you put the can in the crock pot fill with water set on low for 8 hours makes a gorgeous caramel sauce! I’ve still to do my inventory yet as we’re still eating food I bought for Christmas! We’ve had so many crackers I’ve not had to make bread since the week before Christmas so bread and inventory in my diary for tomorrow x
I'm trying to get all my dried goods into glass. I've been a slacker, but this is great inspiration!!! Pickled eggs, so yummy. BTW, loved the butchering video. Well done.
we are just getting back from visiting family and i can’t wait to hit the pantry challenge hardcore. first year i am really committing. over 1000 quarts and pints of hime canned and other stockpiled pantry items, Need to use up!
I wanted you to kn9w your video of 2024 children and family touched my heart. What a beautiful family. I watched it several times. Comments are off and I understand why so many creeps on You Tube. Beautiful momma bear just beautiful.
Wow great job! I just got a canning kit for Christmas! So hoping I can learn to can and eventually participate in these challenges 😊 such a blessing to have children that help ❤❤
We are eating primarily from our three small freezers, which have been stocked well over the past 9 mo's we've been living here. It's just my husband & I now, we live in a very small house, about 300 sq ft, so we actually gave up dressers & other storage space for these freezers full of meat/cheese & butter. We eat mostly meat/animal based, beef/pork/chicken/eggs/dairy, though I do use seasonings & herbs at times. Our challenge is no more than $15 a week, which is mostly for heavy cream & coffee, though we have a few months of coffee stockpiled at all times. It's the only thing we drink, besides water, so it's an important commodity around here. =) It was SO satisfying to see all the canned goods & freezer food on your end~ very much takes me back to when all the kids were at home...🎶..those were the daaaays🎵~ and I miss those days a lot. It goes so fast, & I likely would have kept having babies forever, if indeed it were in God's plan & will for our lives. Beyond blessed by the peace He provides. Samantha in AZ.
Your daughter sounds just like you. I admire your stockpile. I am a widow now and am doing the challenge for the first time by using what I have on hand. I am determined to not buy anything but will probably need milk at some point. The challenge will make me cook more rather than grabbing fast food. I have a menu in my head and my state is expecting below freezing temperatures over the weekend into mid week. Oven meals will help keep the kitchen warm. I enjoy watching your channel and please kiss the baby for me. He is precious!
Hi MommaBear, I'm doing the same that I do every January, eat down the fridge, freezer, pantry. Rethink what worked and what didn't (liver still left in the freezer) so I'm going to make pate which is much more to my taste at the moment. I will also gift my daughter anything pasta or rice related as I cannot eat it anymore (my blood sugars act up very badly) I'll have my grandbabies over at some point to make pantry cookies - basically any add ins they want and send them home with them. I find January a very liberating time - cleaning out the food I have ready for stocking up in February. I allow myself £20 in January for fresh veggies.
No where on the same scale as you. I live alone.but am going to use as much as a can then good cleaning in kitchen before I restock but on a much lower amount thanks good motivation love to all the family
I managed to pull from my freezer and shelf nd only have a small list for suppers. Breakfast I may have to buy a couple of things and lunches. All we need to figure out because most of what I’m pulling together for supper is not enough to have leftovers for lunches.
Thanks. Not by choice, I’m been a pantry challenge for 2 months! It’s been ruff! Any suggestions for meat. It goes so fast when you can’t replace it. Thankful for tuna an can chicken buts it gets old fast im like one more can seriously!
You have a lot to work with! Your daughters are such a blessing! You can tell it’s because they have been loved well by their mama!
I’m praying these women had help lifting those totes.
Our dad and my younger brother helped load them after

All I can think about is how heavy those totes are! Please be careful ! Backs are fragile!❤

I love looking at my pantry shelves. It is such a security boost. Your rolly shelf is awesome! Where did you find this gem?

Oh I'm so glad you were able to utilize your stockpile in ME!!! What is the heat and burst pipes situation at that home?
I would love to see how you can the eggs! This looks great thanks for sharing!
I didn't video when I pickled the eggs, but at some point I'm sure we can create a video 🤷🏼♀️

WOW that is a lot of food.
Turn volume up please

You can do it! We are all on our own journey. Yours sounds great!
I’m not participating in the pantry challenge, but am still trying to clear out my freezer! Lots of imaginative meals in our future😏
Don’t forget the spices!
I managed to pull from my freezer and shelf nd only have a small list for suppers. Breakfast I may have to buy a couple of things and lunches. All we need to figure out because most of what I’m pulling together for supper is not enough to have leftovers for lunches.
where do i get that rack to hold canned foods?! what is it called?
Your planning will get you thru.
Thsnks
Are the girls leaving some food when they return to Maine?😊
There is still a ton of food up there 👌🏼
❤❤❤
Thanks. Not by choice, I’m been a pantry challenge for 2 months! It’s been ruff! Any suggestions for meat. It goes so fast when you can’t replace it. Thankful for tuna an can chicken buts it gets old fast im like one more can seriously!
I am going to share what I heard a Godly man say after he was diagnosed with a terminal disease,” I just have more to trust in God about”.
I would love to know where you got the rolls can rack that size? Please and Thank You
Mommabear, you are lucky you have your sweet older daughters to help. Not foing challenge / watching you!!😅❤
Are those cans RUSTED...
They look nasty.
We live in a small house and have to store food in our garage that's not in the best condition, gotta do what we gotta do
I have a larder for 3 to 6 months . Sometimes you can have too much.
The larger the family, the more food needed
I love to challenge myself to make a menu with what I already have.
I've got a question. Just out of curiosity. Do you and your daughters wear jeans/pants?
Well hello blessed friend how r u
Do you have any idea when you will be going home for good
I dislike canned food and would never eat home canned for fear of botulism.
$50 bucks a week that’s crazy
