I was praying for her then as i did chores! I wondered if the Spirit was calling on me in a timely way or not! God is watching over you! I so love to be a part of His body....what a privilege 😊 literally never prayed for her in my life before. Afterwards I was wondering how many of your viewers must care about you and pray for you. I can't even remember your first name, but I've loved watching you for years! Congratulations!
I wasn’t expecting a video from you today, I thought for sure you would be enjoying your new baby. Baby is really loving being as close to Momma as possible for as long as they can. Prayers for a good delivery and healthy Mom and baby.
Good freezing morning, Jessica. We are always eating from our pantry. Our nearest real grocery store is 2 1/2 hours away one way. Our pantry is always fully stocked. We are off grid with a small solar system, 3 miles from nearest one lane road. I went to the grocery store for a resupply on Dec 30. I had not done a supply shopping trip prior to this since March 2023. I put up lots and lots of jars. Any trips out, which is at most once a month or every 6 weeks, we would pick up fresh fruit and/or dairy. I don't plan on any more shopping until around April. Good luck to you and your family. I'm off to work on my quilt, I sew on an 1874 singer treadle sewing machine.
@christinewallace9251 we moved here 25 years ago, I will 64 in May, and my husband will be 62 in September. Our nearest neighbor is about 6 miles away. Wildlife, including black bears, are right at my back door. We have had no refrigerator or freezer since moving here. We have a root cellar, spring house, and in winter a cold box, currently, an extremely cold cold box. Our own spring for water, a pond, composting toilet. Our 2 youngest were 10 and 12 when we moved here. Not bad for 2 people who grew up in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I cherish the beauty of nature, my calm feeling, and utter peace of living here. We will be married 40 years tomorrow. Being married to your best friend is a true treasure......especially when it's just the 2 of you 24/7.
@@espressonut Congrats on your wedding anniversary, it is true being married to your best friend truly is a blessing. I lost mine 2 years ago after 35 years of marriage. Your lifestyle sounds wonderful. Anna In Ohio
I wish my mother were still living and could see how well you use up food. She went thru the Great Depression and absolutely hated to see food wasted. You make delicious meals. Continued prayers for healthy and safe delivery, and yes, you deserve to be comfortable! Happy New Year Blessings to you and your family.
I went to almost 10 months with my daughter. Then, even after my water broke, she still didn’t want to come out three days later of me 😊having hard labor for three days. Needless to say, she was a dry birth, and we had problems with skin infection with dryness and bleeding in her little fat rolls, and was even born with cradle cap. She had a rough go of it in her first couple months. She is now 50 and beautiful and healthy, has been her whole life except that first few weeks. Each birth has been so different, so individual in their starts in life. We both are so blessed to have such beautiful and healthy children 😊. God bless you and yours and may the Lord continue to bless you each and every day. So much love from SoCal.
Goodness, Jessica, what an inspiration you are. Being as frugal as you are and not wasting food is the equivalent of earning a good income. Along with that, you are nurturing and teaching your kids. It's Grannie Cyndy from South Australia here. I raised 6 sons, much of it as a single mom. But I wasn't good at improvising meals using what I had back then. I do way much better now and at 73 yrs old, living on a very small income your suggestions are always very helpful. My prayers are with you for your new expected arrival coming soon.
The strength of motherhood! I was so in hopes, you would be cradling a little one this week. God’s plan is on track; baby will arrive at the perfect time. Glad all is well with you and your little one. Take care, Jessica, you are covered with loving prayers for a safe labor and delivery. Stay in good spirits and rest as much as possible. We wait with you.

I just made a nori sheet, mushroom and bone broth using the bones from our New year’s prime rib roast and herbs from my garden. It was delicious and kept my husband warm while he sipped on it during the day working outside. How funny that you’re doing a similar thing!
It’s good to see a video this week and yes comfort is necessary. I’m 66 and sometimes take a pajama day during the winter months. I started the challenge focused on using the partial bottles of condiments that have accumulated in my fridge. Toasted sesame oil, sweet chili sauce and oyster sauce were used up with a stir fry and egg rolls. I had the wrappers in the freezer, veggies and a half package of mung beans noodles that had apparently been on probation in my pantry so it was great to use them. Leftover fresh and frozen cranberries were used to make 6 quarts of unsweetened juice and I managed to also put up 39 quarts of apple juice. Off to a great start. Blessings to you and baby for a peaceful birth.
As I'm catching up, i am watching this and just checked my Instagram... Babys coming soon!! Praying for a healthy baby and quick easy healthy delivery and healthy mom!!
Like many of your followers I thought we wouldn’t be seeing a video from you this week! Happy and blessed new year to you and Adam and your family. Will be intentionally prayerful for you at this time for the safe and healthy delivery of baby nine. I am so excited for you! As a childless woman, it always warms my heart to see such beautiful family connections such as yours. God bless you!
I love watching the pantry challenge-- I follow along and do my version here on The Hill. We got our grandson this past Saturday-- hope your little one is here soon. Blessings to you all!

What a wonderful idea with the nori soup! I look forward to seeing your ingenious ideas on the challenge. Sending best wishes for your baby's arrival ❤️
Hello Jessica, sorry to see you not carrying g around a new bundle of Joy! Oh well, God will decide when your time is ready. I pray that you will have a healthy little Bundle and all goes safe and sound. Do you think you will have anymore children after this? I have 3 children and a stepson that is like my own. They are all grown and gone and have kids of their own. I think my youngest is about your age of 42, this month. This is the first time I am participating in your Three Rivers Challenge and I’m so excited. I am 64 and live on my own as a widow now for 11 years. It probably will sound crazy but I have 2 chest freezers, 2 side by side fridge freezers, and 2 upright freezers. I was able to get my house paid off this last Spring and I was finally able to buy a large Freeze Dryer. The unit had a few bugs in it and after only one batch of peppers and mushrooms, the unit died on me. It took several months to get the problem resolved, but now o am using it very much. The problem was a Freon leak! It took over a month to get it shipped back to Utah and another month to get it back. I’m glad that it’s finally working again and I have got about 6 large bins filled with bagged foods. Do you attend the Homesteading shows? We were well stocked so did ok and without having "anything weird" as my husband would say. It's just the two of us and we're not homesteaders with big stores of food, so our challenge might not seem like much of one, but we're allowing: one $20 trip to the grocery per week (personal and household products not included) along with one restaurant/takeout meal. First grocery order is Sunday and I had to laugh at myself at how bummed I got as I whittled down my list to get it to $20. Sorry you didn't make the cut, cucumber. Maybe next week!
Sending prayers for a quick, easy and very soon delivery May God bless you some rest on your body and mind . Absolutely!! Being at that stage of pregnancy means you can wear whatever is comfy! Besides no one would have even realized those were jammies if you hadn't told them😅. Thanks for the video!
Good Monday evening my dear friend, I so look forward to your pantry challenge every year! Sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas break with Adam home! Such creative ideas you have for leftovers, you never cease to amaze me!! This new little life should be coming soon, sending love and prayers your way!!
I was hoping that precious little one would have arrived before the end or 2024... Well, baby comes when baby is ready. Good luck! I've been watching daily for news.
I did not expect popcorn cookies or using the nori for soup! Such great ideas! I love the out of the box ideas! Thank you! Praying you have a heathly baby and safe delivery!

💚C'mon Baby! I finally, and successfully, canned my first broth (turkey) in my "new" (several years) All American Pressure canner. And I just went thru my freezer and put all the random bags of bones in a large pot for broth. Thanks for your inspiration and knowledge, Jessica!💚
Lovely to see your video today as your time of waiting continues. We’re doing the challenge and on the first day realised we had no soy sauce, so it will be a variation on a theme of balsamic vinegar when we have a stir fry. We too spent the first few days eating up. I love it. Leek risotto tonight with some of the last leeks I picked from the allotment, a little past their best but will still taste delicious. Hope you have a good week.
I’m doing the challenge in a way. We were in a serious car accident so I’m not moving well, but my inside refrigerator died. God sent very cold weather to central Ohio so everything went outside in coolers. My new refrigerator arrived and everything had to come back in so we are living on the overflow and then the pantry. I bought 40 pounds of FUJI apples from my oldest grandson through FFA and I’m finishing them up now . I dehydrated 10 pounds for my grandchildren I made 20 cups of applesauce and I’m putting the last of them in the dehydrator right now before church. Love your videos praying for new baby. Dear Jessica, praying for you and baby! Your videos are so inspiring and I do not know how you do it, being pregnant and still cooking all those meals! Thank you for inspiring me to be a better mom, I am pregnant with #3. :) God bless you, praying for you
Congratulations Jessica, Adam and family! I hope it was an easy delivery. A GIRL!! That's so wonderful. Can't wait to hear all about it, but for now just take it easy (as easy as possible!) Hugs to you all.
Congratulations 🎉 just heard from Sarah and Kevin on living traditions homestead that your new addition has arrived! Prayers for you and your family during this exciting time. Take care and looking forward to meeting your new addition 🥰🥰🙏🙏 Have a blessed week🙏😊
Thank you for the French toast recipe! I'm immunocompromised right now battling cancer. I want to be able to eat, but cannot stand at the stove for long periods of time. I can sit at a table and prep this or talk a family member through doing so!
Everything looks amazing I never knew you could make cookies with popcorn and they looked wonderful. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤ Prayers for you and baby ❤
My great granny always made sugar toast in her wood cook stove, that would be a great use of stale bread.. Spread butter on the top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and broil. Delicious!
Go bless you Jessica !! such a hard working momma :) and I'm so excited that you'll soon be welcoming another precious baby !!! Blessings to you all ~ Linda (well done with all your meals and no wastage !! - inspirational)

I love the popcorn cookies idea. Also, the simplest breakfasts you have are great: leftover (anything) with eggs/milk, and the casserole French toast.
Girl, I'd be freeze drying those mushrooms! I freeze dry soooo many leftovers and veggies that I find on sale! Thanks for all the ideas! Happy baby!
You’re an amazing and strong woman! Sending all the good vibes your way for a safe and healthy delivery of your special nugget. Blessed be and merry meet when your new person arrives.

Thank you for the French toast recipe! I'm immunocompromised right now battling cancer. I want to be able to eat, but cannot stand at the stove for long periods of time. I can sit at a table and prep this or talk a family member through doing so!
Thank you Jessica. I was heading to sleep and was watching you. I had to get up and take my #20 box of beef bones out of the freezer. 😂
Many blessings to you sweet momma and to this lil bundle of joy that I too am invested in. HAHAHA

My great granny always made sugar toast in her wood cook stove, that would be a great use of stale bread.. Spread butter on the top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and broil. Delicious!
