The creators done a great job flushing out this world. I like how this show reveals the life cycles of the major creatures. How they eat. How each has their own method of reproduction. This heart parasite reminds me of the fungi that infects insects and influence them to die in a spot perfect for them to grow and release spores

No, it realized that Sam had been infected by its own seed. It wasn't about to destroy its own means of reproduction. Sam had been cured of the cloner's poison earlier that episode.
If I run in and yell we need to leave, bitch, you better move with a sense of urgency. Ursula was lackin' which is why the man got a parasite put into him in the first place.
Bruh wtf are you talking about? Sam got parasitised because of that old lady fault (although she extended his life) and Ursula and Sam left the place immediately after discovering the parasite anyways so nothing bad really happened and it was up to no one's fault bruh
It was the old lady who infected him. How was ursula supposed to know about heart parasites again? But the old lady also extended his life in a way soo

This old lady has been fairly amicable to you, but you met her literally minutes ago. You don't know her or anything about her and she hasn't even said a single word to you since you've met her. Why would you leave your INCAPACITATED comrade to her??!! Did you just assume her motives are purely noble despite knowing her for what seems like less than an hour? The world of this show is incredibly well crafted but the characters make some baffling stupid choices throughout, with Ursula being the worst offender by a wide margin. Not all they're clearly idiotic decisions led to bad outcomes but there were a lot. It was actually frustrating watching the show.
I'm convinced that this takes place in the 40K Universe, but just a few tens of thousands of years before. This is grim dark as hell. Hopefully this planet got a healthy dose of exterminatus and became a forge world for the Mechanicus.
This parasite might've been the scariest thing to me, other than the cloning plant, and of course, chonkers (the Hollow)
Chonkers?

Hazmat suit would have actually killed him… wow.
This whole show is about weird nightmare fuel monsters huh? Maybe I'll check it out.

better be prepared for a lot of rolling

there's no way that wasn't intentional
So why’d it stop? Why didn’t that creature kill him?
Because he was infected with the same parasite earlier, and the creature wants to propagate
That tiny mark on his chest meant he was infected with one of its babies
Um outro bicho infectou esse cara, ele iria morrer uns dias depois
I immediately got Ebrietas from Bloodborne vibes
😂
Oh that aint good!😳
So where did the parasite originate from? It just shows the medicine woman’s husband already has it in the next episode
I always just assumed they were native to the planet, maybe the husband got infected at some point while exploring
How can I watch this series?

Why did the old lady suddenly turn feral???
not an old lady , she had been infected by a parasite the consumed her a long time ago .
Wait why didn’t he eat him!?
He has a parasite in him already.
He’s infected with its young
Soooooo why did the creature not kill him after seeing a little nipple? lolz
Why kill one of its own?
Because that little nipple meant he was infected with one of its babies
