- Selecting the right coolant setup for the job may seem straight forward, but there has to be a reason there are so many options.
Types of coolant, method of delivery, and even what type of cutter you're using can change how you properly lubricate and cool your cutting process.

This a great video for me in safety and health for industrial setting. Thanks for posting this!!
Would love if to seesome kind of chart that showed the best coolant for all different types of material/tool combos
Thankyou very much viking, im confused about flood cooling and spray cooling. Now i know, flood cooling is literally flood lmao. Thanks!
When are you guys going to make a through coolant spindle?
Cool info.... thanks
What is happen when we are using a cutting fluid in Electrical discharge machining?
Hey Chris, What are my material limits when using carbide tools with a Denatured Alcohol in an air misting situation?
Hey Paul, thanks for watching! Denatured alcohol isn’t recommended as a coolant, especially in mist form, because it is combustible at higher temperatures seen when cutting some materials.
Oh... That could be trouble. Thanks! I am currently installing the beta ATC... Is like Christmas today...
Hello sir
My materials is Aluminium so wich coolent or lubrication suggest me?
Say I don't care about the "mess" could I always use flood coolant with any tool any material? that seems like it doesn't have disadvantages( other than some lose of energy when having to pump it but who cares).
You could but run the risk of thermal shock on carbide cutters. If you still did use flood with carbide make sure it is flooding before it starts cutting
What material is gold and platinum platinum is quite dense , cutting tools would be diamond Head tools or carbide
background music again?
It's a seven year old video.
@@tormachinc I still wanted to watch it, do you have something newer?
Bourbonite????
Dat beard doe, I'm jelly.
He looks like a toilet brush.
All he needs is a pointed hat and he would be a perfect garden gnome.
That's because he is a Tormach wizard. :)
At first, I thought that his head was outside down.
Then, all I could think about was his beard getting caught on an end mill.
Maybe that's how his head got turned upside down.
what's collant? lol
thehomefoundry it’s a liquid that you use to reduse the heat.
