I saw Sierra back when she was kind of a mandolin wünderkind. But after a while she was just another great mandolin player in a field of great mandolin players. Then a few years ago, I look again, and she's a beast of a mandolin player, top-flight band leader, and destroying genre boundaries left and right (e.g. playing with Cory Wong). Her wildwood flower is insane as well. Cross picked into next year and she did it as a quick demonstration of a new guitar. There are levels to this and she's leagues above most.
She leans into the woodiness of the low strings and creates massive timbre contrast by adding muting while leaving the piano chimes on the melody portion. God-tier self accompaniment.
