Very good work Gulio! i find it very sympatic that you care for such a sympatic nice little old car like the Renault 5.. i own one myself its a 5 TSE from the same year 1985.. and i care for it like you.. i like especially these cars very much.. very economical practical and very well designed!
@@julienbee3467 Yes.. it is.. it makes 105-110 mph.. 170 km/h on the motorway.. but it´s also nice to ride with it through the country side.. i like it really very much.:)
I made a big tour through france last summer.. and i also was in Paris.. this little 35 years old car made it.. it had no problems and was really reliable.

Mi resta solo una curiosità: i prodotti che hai usato sono solo per carrozzieri? Si trovano anche al dettaglio?
Massimiliano, hai perfettamente ragione! E pensa, questo lavoro l'ho fatto solo per divertimento e per sperimentare, quando ancora avevo poca esperienza e poca attrezzatura :D Alcuni prodotti si usano nelle carrozzerie, ma vengono usati male. Non è il prodotto a fare il lavoro, ma è CHI lo fa ;-)

Hello Giulio i hope you understand English. I have a Renault super 5 myself but struggle with making the plastic part on the car look good again, such as the side mirrors and bumpers around the car, can you tell me how you managed to do that because i dont know how :) thank you !
Me and my cousin were walking in our neighboorhood and found an abandoned Renault super 5. It has the engine and everything. What should we do with it?
Thank you very much for the compliments! The work was very long, the paint was sanded and then polished in several stages. The only parts replaced are the wheels ;-)

Ne ho una anche io del 1985 in allestimento TC di color celeste tipo quello della polizia per capirci, pian piano la sto restaurando anche io ultima noia ho il radiatorino del riscaldamento (scambiatore di calore) che si è bucato, speriamo di cavarcela con poco :-D Avrei una domanda, che prodotti hai utilizzato per ripristinare tutte le parti in vetro-resina? Lo so che lo hai scritto sul video ma ho problemi a visualizzare bene il video a causa dello schermo che è difettoso... ti ringrazio da adesso
Purtroppo anche la mia ha lo scambiatore di calore bucato...se cerchi in rete lo trovi a prezzo molto contenuto ed abbordabile...mal che vada prova a chiederlo alla concessionaria Renault della tua zona perché potrebbero ancora richiedere dalla Francia come fondi di magazzino...

Not quite the same as rebuilding the engine or gearbox - all detailing achieves is showing the original manufacturer's car off to it best, detailing does not add any value all it does is maximise the existing products paintwork - sorry but not exactly a credit to the man or woman that cleaned it
