The small shop doesn't have any power run to it. But with the help of the Mega 2 from Oupes, I will be able to run lights for video production as well as any small power tools i need in that space.

Timely, well done video. I've been looking at these power sources. Great to hear your comments on this one. Thank you
Looks like a great tool, I'm looking forward to a future update, say maybe in 6 months or so.
I will try to remember to do that
Great item. I've been looking at similar things for various uses so once again, on the same page. Would be good to see the grinder and buffer under load though, that'll kill a trip switch in a heartbeat!
I recently build a shop the total cost for trenching. Materials and labor exceeded 3k. Much more then I had budgeted. Maybe a temporary solutions would have been something like a battery generator.
This raises the question, what are the power requirements for the induction Forge?
40 amp, 220 -240 volt circuit
Would like to have another report in about a year. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
I will try to remember that
Thanks for the info, have to look into this, can be handy during hurricane season (Florida). By the way, what is that white stuff on the ground? 😂😂
I liked this video Me John, I love learning about new tools. I may not be able to afford one right now, but I will put it in my memory bank for when I am at full swing forging. Thanks again
Or use a wood/coal forge....
It’s probably best to make a steam engine to power a generator to power your shop. You could heat the steam engine with your forge exhaust.
I'll try to get right on that
@@BlackBearForgeII I’d start by making the whistle 🌬💨
Good morning
Morning
Wish you well keep it covered from the cold when not in use .
It’s not a defeat it’s just an uncalculated progress
Good going John. That Oupes Mega 2 unit looks like it will do a good job in your powerless forge area. I'm wondering if that unit would provide a spot welding process I see alot of fabricators using on thin materials ?? Thanks for sharing with us, stay safe and keep up the fantastic videos . Fred.
I’d love an update in the future that tells us if the battery capacity has severely diminished. Also today’s batteries pose a huge fire risk more so than your forge.
