Wow. Remember when he ate Olive Garden in the back of a hot truck?
Our boy has grown up 😅
Still one of my favorite episodes
They have come along way. I still
Like to revisit the “old days “ from time to time
That episode was wild yet so fun to watch
Honestly one of my favorite videos of all time
THIS is the final evolution of eat the menu. Honestly so proud to see this, from McDonald's to Melisse. What a journey.
💯 agreed...SO proud of how much we've all watched Keith grow and mature since that first video on Buzzfeed ❤
We've come so far from a hot parking lot van!
It even has a very structured "show" format, but has just enough mouth smacking that you know it's still UA-cam :D
I dont' know how they can keep upping their game at this rate!
im glad youre proud. like anyone would care
Best part about Eat the Menu with expensive restaurant is getting to see all the interesting foods that are usually just exclusive to rich people. A lot of these menu items barely have photos on the Internet
It's a win-win situation: and ad to the restaurant that appeal to the masses that it's worth it to dine in high quality restaurant, especially after all covid ordeal - people like good food and are willing to pay for it, but because of current economic situation ate picky to were to spend their expenses... And it's a good content for the show, that centers itself around tasting food! Sure, Keith might not always be honest about he liked or not (considering he doesn't like fragrant stuff, has to sensitive tongue and came up with tomato soup flavoured macarons), but it's definitely better than eating entariety of McDonald's or Taco Bell.
We've had Grant, now we've had Sam. One step closer to getting to see Brennan on ETM guys 😂
Brennan is very clear about his food choices. We may never get him there, lol. He is Not Very Adventurous with food. Depends on the place, I guess!
Eat the Menu: Heavy Food
Eat the Menu: Oops All Almonds
Brennan should do something dnd based with the guys
Brennan would love/ hate this. Love it because the restaurants are empty but hate because the food is not heavy. He is a creature of habit. He has the same hamburger every day because he knows he will like it.
The “fragile” to “delicate” to “vulnerable” to “therapy session vulnerable” journey of describing the food seriously killed me 💀😂
I'm sorry to hear that
I want a food network show that is well promoted, well funded, and simply consists of Keith eating everything everywhere.
If only their food network show has gotten views 😩
@@shllybkwrmgot overshadowed by Nedmageddon.
I guess, but how could it be any better than what they are self-producing now?
No, you don’t. Food Network ruins everything they get their hands on.
Why put it behind a paywall when we can enjoy it right here right now!
Keith is really the main character. We are all the viewers of his slowly growing culinary empire. Can't wait for the day we see a collab with Gordon Ramsey!
I'm pretty sure Rachel said on YCSWU last year or the year before that they have been in touch with his people. But they haven't been able to work anything out (yet?).
@jmason1770 Hopefully, it'll happen one day. Even them being in touch about the possibility is a good sign!
Yeah he's not. Lmao.
I'd rather a collab with sortedfood but that is me
Fuck Ramsay he can’t even make a grilled cheese
Seems you can spend a lot on a brilliantly produced food series and still not put all of your content behind a paywall. Funny that.
Edit: there has since been an update to Watcher’s decision. And I’ll be damned- they listened!
Is this referring to something?
i’m guessing watcher’s recent announcement
@@zachsimsphoto5344 not a watcher fan, are you?
And for it we are very grateful
I was looking for a comment like this. It didn't take long. 😂
I really appreciate that Kwesi corrected the pronunciation of “plantain” once to the linguistically correct pronunciation and they’ve been saying it that way since. I know it’s something so basic to do, but it shows how much they care about linguistic differences & their respect for their friend.
how do you pronounce it? i didn't hear it in the video
There is such a difference in how Keith feels after eating Michelin food vs what he has in the past. The quality of the ingredients must be part of it, aside from the size of the menu. I enjoyed this as much as the other ones. Love seeing the amazing food that I could never afford.
Also time between dishes, way more veg and a lot less is fried. Actually less cheese and sugar as well which take a toll on most but seem to especially take Kieth out.
I think that part of it too is that many of these fancier restaurants operate on a tasting menu, where the idea is that you're expected to eat everything on the menu over the course of a meal and so they can plan accordingly. At normal restaurants, the assumption is that you order one to four things (either just a main meal or, at most, an appetizer, main course, side, and dessert) and they want to make sure you leave not only full but often with leftovers to take home.
I loved when Keith finished the celebration of asparagus and described the food like eating art and “take that museums!” And the chef smiled in the background ❤ even in the increasingly fancy settings Keith can bring a smile 😊
This is how Sam gets you. First you dine together at a Michelin star restaurant. Then you wind up on an episode of Game Changer. Then you become a personality on his right-wing media venture Dropout America. Don't let him sink his alcohol-allergic claws into you, Keith!
This got me 😂
i thought he was gonna introduce him as ceo of dropout america idk why😂😂
Keith was already in videos back when it was College Humor.
@@Tensen01 ✨all part of Sam’s long game magic trick to exchange Grant for Keith without anyone realising. ✨
@@GingerChild22is Grant a gay and wild Keith ?! Never taught of them like that 😮
This restaurant does remind me of the movie “The Menu”. With the whole watching the food being prepared, everyone is served at the same time and extravagant plating
Sameee
Came here for this. All it does was made me want a cheeseburger at the end lol
Glad I’m not the only one who made the connection 😂
Literally was thinking the same thing - just the not scary, deadly version haha
Literally! I couldn’t eat there. I’d be scared.
I never thought i'd be so happy to see a man I don't know eating fancy food, after all the damage he has inflicted on his stomach for our entertainment I'm so glad he gets a treat
What a wild coincidence to have the dude from Dropout on here the day after that whole insane Watcher announcement

I'm always really glad when Keith explains the textures of stuff, because man, I would not have connected some of those descriptions with the way that the food looked. This is a great series!
That sous chef was tall af. And Keith looking like he’s dressed for Sunday service. The love in my heart!
I love how you can see them filming the next meal being made in the background while keith eats with the head chef!!
Sam as a guest feels like finding out that one of your friends actually hangs out with your uncle when they both have free time
Aww this is making my day. Its so refreshing to see yall being the same humble, down to earth, goofy curious guys even while enjoying micheline star meals. I thought I'd prefered the old fast-food etm, but I'm really enjoying this series so far 🫶🏻
I prefer not seeing Keith slowly growing more and more miserable so Im thrilled with this. I always felt guilty watching him go through it just so I could get opinions about items
I love his constant look backs to the chefs like “am I doing this right?”
I love the subtle detail of Keith’s suit having faint blue checkers. I dunno how intentional his wardrobe choice was but I think it’s fun how it’s a nod to that certain era while flexing the upgrade of the content 🔥🔥
Jolly would probably love to join Keith for some Michelin collaboration! (Michelin Madness- Try Guys Edition!)
Keith and Ollie would be absolute chaos!
He’s been on an episode of Jolly! I think it was chicken related lol
Time to hunt down some Michelin Korean food 👀
I recall seeing Keith correct the lads on their pronunciation of ranch (it’s not raunch)
YB and her veggie journey reminded me of a conversation my husband and I had recently. He and his coworkers had been talking about how picky children get as they get older, and his coworkers said something about how impossible it is to get their children to eat veggies. But our children LOVE veggies, especially anything green. My oldest will legitimately turn down whatever meat or carb we’re having and eat an entire plate of roasted asparagus or sautéed brussels sprouts. I recalled DETESTING basically all veggies and a lot of fruits growing up, especially green beans, because my parents always tried to force me to eat warmed canned green beans. I couldn’t handle the texture-I would gag or even throw up. But now they’re one of my favorite foods because my husband sautés them, sometimes dressing them in delicious spices, oils, and sesame seeds. It made us realize that most children hate vegetables probably because they only receive them over-boiled or steamed to mush. Of course they don’t want to eat that! Makes me especially grateful for my husband, who spent a decade in restaurants before switching careers. Marry someone who knows their way around a kitchen, y’all. 😂
From YB food baby eating mcdonalds nuggets to eating michelin starred foods... what a nice upgrade 😄
Was so excited to see her in this!
okay look we GOTTA get some of them mythical chefs on eat the menu
Yes! Josh is so knowledgeable and has a crazy vocabulary.. id love to hear his take on these dishes.
We know they have connections already!! It's time!! Ofc get Rhett and Link on there too
Aww, love to see Sam! Great chemistry with Keith, too...almost like he's been here the whole time.
After the Watcher announcement, I wonder how the Try Guys are doing financially. I’ve been afraid to point this out but it is obvious the videos are not doing as well as they used to. These days the highest number of views this channel can get is 1 million which are mostly Keith’s food stuff and even their most popular show, Without a Recipe, didn’t do as well as the earlier seasons. I just wonder if they’re making enough money especially with a big office.
Conservatively estimating, they make ~200k/month from Patreon alone, not factoring in paid sponsorships, views, merch, etc. I hope that’s enough that they’re doing okay, and if not I hope they don’t make a similar goofy-ass decision to Watcher
They have said on the podcast (especially Zach) that they are less concerned these days with getting views and more concerned with making stuff that matters/is fun to them. They've said clearly views have to be considered to some extent because they have people working for them that depend on them, but that they're more doing it for themselves than the numbers. I admire that.
Luckily I think they get a lot of views/money from their backlog of existing content from people rewatching and new people starting from the beginning. So they dont have to worry much if new videos dont get a lot of views immediately.
@@tatumfowler8362 Exactly. And further more, Try guys have significantly more subscribers. And from what I see, they're doing their best to explore more different types of content, which can be a mixed bag at the start. But it does seem that they're in no rush to expand or go nuts with the "production value" as it were.
I'm just wondering if Keith could actually step in and advise Watcher on the mess they've made🤷♀

This is the first restaurant that I’ve seen that I really feel truly deserves and encompasses the original meaning and status of the Michelin Star and fine dining. Innovative but still delicious, unique but still comforting, high class but welcoming, truly a form of art with food!
I've had the opportunity to eat at several Michelin star restaurants over the years (including 3 star restaurants The Connaught and Core in the UK), and the difference between those restaurants and regular ones is the presentation and attention to detail. It feels like you are eating art - everything is so precisely placed and has a definitive purpose as part of the overall dish.
With that being said, based on taste alone, I think I would prefer Korean Fried Chicken (and I am being 100% serious). I think I'm too much of a boor to really appreciate fine dining and the only reason I have ever had an opportunity to eat at these restaurants is because of my job. The service is also on a whole other level - there are often more staff than there are diners, and everything runs like a well oiled machine. One place even mailed me a thank you card and small gift after dining there.
Is it worth the price? (in some instances, a $1000 plus for the full tasting menu and wine) Not in my opinion. But it is an experience that you won't forget.
I could watch Sam and Keith eat and describe anything together forever and not get tired of it. Obviously I’m biased being a dropout fan but Sam is absolutely my favorite eat the menu guest so far!
Keith pushing himself to experience and describe the food in a Michelin way 👏😂
it's like...Tchaikovsky...😂 wtf, keith?! haha
It's been wild to watch Keith grow as an artist and food reviewer. I love this evolution of Eat the Menu. I was anticipating Keith getting food drunk at these high class restaurants (which would have been hilarious too) and I love that he's taking such a professional approach to these menus.
I hate this kind of pretentious "finger foods", but the smile on the young sous chef's face really make me *love* watching this episode, I watch it twice just to see that young man being proud of his works!
Pretentious that's what this is!
as someone that usually doesn´t watch eat the menu ( not so much into the sounds and visuals of food eating), this was surprisingly nice! curiostity made me give it a try and than I just enjoyed the whole thing and felt sad as it was already over. Love watching Keith interact with the chefs. You can tell he really respects their craft and is earnestly trying to learn and listen to everything. He may not always be able to describe it well, but that’s why we love him. ONE OF US! …. Sometimes there’s no other word than simply, DAMN.

I would love to see a video where the team learns how to build and plant a home vegetable garden or they go visit a small family farm and learn about the produce there.
