ALSO! My friend Alpha brought up a good point at 0:40 that I forgot to mention. These are NOT the only courses that have shortcuts in the front, HOWEVER, they are the only courses that have shortcuts in the front that also happen to be the META. No one bags for shrooms on Coconut mall to take the cut or DS Desert Hills. The cut had to be busted enough to warrant the gameplan to revolve around it.

7:19 there's an easier way to calculate this: instead of considering each case that you get the item you just consider the case that you don't get the item and subtract that from 1. So that would be 1-(1-p)^k. This method also counts the possibilities that you roll the desired item multiple times.
Also you might have to consider that during an item cycle you might change positions or certain items from the pool can be "rented" so that you end up with different probabilities each set. You can calculate it the same way but you have to consider probabilites p1, p2, .... , pk and the formula becomes 1 - (1-p1) x (1-p2) x ... x (1-pk)
Yeah I was gonna say that too. If it's 10% chance of getting it, that means a 90% chance of not getting it, hence the chance of getting it on at least 1 of 3 attempts is just 100% minus the chance of not getting it at all (which is 90%^3, or rather 0.9^3, which is 72.9%, so the chance of getting it is 100%-72.9% which is 27.1%)
Just a warning:
As you grow as a youtuber you will see less appreciative and idea comments and more meme comments.
This is a unfortunate and inevitable problem in UA-cam. Meme comments can be repetitive, annoying and stale.

Jesse W TWD98, I find, has nice and funny inside jokes but not that many of them and aren’t overused in the comment sections. His fans are very appreciative and he’s very lucky for that. Let’s hope Arc grows the same kind of fan base that Troy has (it’s likely, considering they’re in the same community and many of Troy’s viewers play Mario Kart Wii and may need to watch these videos) rather than a toxic and annoying one.
The day the "nobody:" or "everyone liked that" comments start, will be a very sad day.

On the math part: I recommenf another way yo calculate it:
If you have 10% of getting an item and you get 3 boxes its easier to calculate the probability you don't catch its (9/10^3)
After, you simply calculate 1 - that number and do *100 and you have your percentage

The wario one? if so yea its pretty difficult but only for the last part of each lap tho, otherwise its not to bad. To stay ahead of it I would reccomend you practice alignments, trust me it will help you a lot.

There's a much easier way to calculate the probability of pulling triple nana's in 3 boxes: 1-0.9^3 0.9^3 is the chance you don't pull triples in 3 sets ofcourse :)
I was looking through the channel and watched this.
When you talked about probability, the way I like to think about it is 1-(p')^n, where p' is the chance of not getting p and n is number of tries (in this istance the boxes).
Yeah idk just how i like to think about it, just what you did with the k-1 * p seems unnecessary, just k will work i think

I have a question about the low trick. Sometimes I'll get absolutely no air and boost through the grass without getting slowed. It feels faster, but I assume its slower. Is that right or is it just too inconsistent, which is why it isnt used in world records? Thanks!
I didn’t really understand why sometimes you told us to use an 08 drift instead of a deleay. I thought you only use those in 90 degree turns or sharper?
When you said lots of kids watch this, you were right, personally, I'm one of the youngest italian players, together with ItZWariX, which is a few months older than me (both '07), and even if it's not hard following your videos, at all, when it comes to math.... well... I didn't even ever done that.
