It's a good set. And hey, Hal Jordan is now part of the McFarlane line.
In this case I don't mind the reuse for Hal. Being that Hal and John are part of the green lantern corp, it shows a bit of uniformity i.e. paramilitary style.

I'm waiting for the inevitable Hal Jordan single release because sadly I couldn't get a hold of that Neca set. I like the McFarlane John Stewart figure quite a bit. And that Hal looks like it'll go great with that even with the costume being off. But I have zero interest in Dawn Breaker.
More than a year later and still nothing. Hope you're enjoying your 100th Batman variant though lol
Finally picked this set up. I already have a Dawnbreaker. So I waited until I had some discounts lined up & grabbed them at almost 50% off. Worth it for the Hal figure, constructs & base.
Why Mcfarlane has made numerous john stewarts but not even a single solo Hal Jordan baffles me
I’m personally waiting to see what the potential Hal Jordan single pack will look like as in whether or not he will include the same accessories because personally I like the DC essentials Hal Jordan design more but it’s also a more expensive figure and it doesn’t come with any accessories so I’m just going to wait and see for now.
Hal is the best green lantern hands down
I don't have either of these figures, Hal is my favorite; glad I bought. No Fist is a letdown however but not a deal breaker.
One of these days I will purchase this set. I really like how Green Lantern Hal Jordan looks in this set.
I have a Dawnbreaker, inevitably there will be a single release Hal Jordan at some point, so I think I'm going to wait.

In my town Dawn Breaker sold out and no one seen one since . I was lucky to get mine. Ill bet some people are happy to get the chance to get Dawnbreaker again.

My Hal’s arm (with the ring) is SUPER LOOSE because of (I guess) how it was put in the package. Does Mcfarlane swap/send replacements? 😞

Got my set….. I really like it… I dont have a 1st release Dawnbreaker….. but they could have painted him yellow with a new sculpt being that all the did is repaint and replaced the head….
I think this 2 pack sets are a great deal for people that didnt get the dark knights on the first realease, with that said stills unfair for all the people that bought complete sets for the baf or the robins for example, great video btw.

I know I'm really late, but that dawnbreaker 's torso is upside down!! WHat-
I just picked this set up. One thing not mentioned that I noticed right away, was how long his arms were, or rather how small his lower waist and legs are (And his feet are tiny!). The proportions are all off, sadly.
I fooled around with the inner piece that holds the mid section and raised it further from the lower black waist section, and that actually helped make the arm proportions not seem as bad. But, then he'd be a very tall figure, maybe about the same height as Lobo.
The same problem occurred with the Drowned's head. The prototype actually had a much better and smaller looking head because the cowl and lower part of the face, fit more proportionate to one another.. But the final product, the lower face was cast slightly bigger and thus, does not look as attractive as the prototype was. Same issue with the Batgirl with the notorious long legs and very short neck.
If you gently rest the head and ball pin on the neck to raise it a bit more, it actually fixes the problem, visually. So the issue there was mainly that the ball pin/peg was a bit too short.
Still, for the cost, I think most of these Mcfarlane DC figures pass the cool factor threshold.
One thing I'll say about the Todd McFarlane figures I love how big they are...8" right?

Hey I don't mean to gripe I mean I love that we finally get some Green Lantern figz but why on earth does Hal come with a jet pack when he can already fly. And to pair him with a fig that is already out there, once again a missed opportunity for another new fig like I don't know Sinestro, hell I'll even take a Guy Gardner or that big bad red dude with the cat. I mean true I would most undoubtedly miss out because they'd be flying off the shelves, but at least you wouldn't be reissueing something most people have already but have to get because of the one new figure that you want comes with something you already have. Sorry did I just repeat myself. Anyway I'm done, I love McF, and I love how these figz are coming out. Yall have a good one

They really need to include fist hands. King Shazam got a bonus set. I'd buy an accessories pack that included guns also. I just saw the preview image for the new Dark Knight BAF line and the Joker clearly has a trigger hand but they aren't allowed to include guns with the figures. Lame. Like some kid is interested in Frank Miller's version of Dark Knight. Or whatever stupid shit reasoning they're using justifying not including tiny guns. For toys. Based on movies and comics where they are clearly meant to have weapons. Not including a pistol but including a crowbar that was used to bash a kid's brains in makes tons of sense. I don't think that's "Tire Changing Joker" haha. Is there a company that makes guns to McFarlane scale? I was going to buy some of those cheap Wal-mart GI Joe guys with the oversized guns, but they don't sell them in stores anymore.
Wish Mcfarlane did a bit more effort with Hal. I'll pass on this one.
Yeah he’s missing that Hal charm
I wish s McFarlane would stop with these bad hand choices. Figures will have one open hand and fist or 2 griping hand for character who are like the lantern and mostly use fist to fight. If there is 3D artist in the comments please just sculpt hands for the Mcfarlane figures. Superman should not have a Trigger finger hand and Dr Fate should have 2 Spell casting hands.
