Green Lantern: Hal Jordan’s life was changed twice by crashing aircraft. The first time was when he witnessed the death of his father, pilot Martin Jordan. The second was when, as an adult and trained pilot himself, he was summoned to the crashed wreckage of a spaceship belonging to Abin Sur. Abin explained that he was a member of the Green Lantern Corps, an organization of beings from across the cosmos, armed with power rings fueled by the green energy of all the willpower in the universe. Upon his death, Abin entrusted his ring and duties as the Green Lantern of Earth’s space sector to Hal Jordan.
DAWNBREAKER: In DC’s Dark Multiverse, on Earth -32, the green light of will has twisted an angry Bruce Wayne into something very dark and sinister. After the murder of his parents in Crime Alley, young Bruce is gifted with a Green Lantern ring, which allows him to fly and to generate deadly hard-light energy constructs. With no Alfred Pennyworth to guide him, he soon swallows his fear and pain and lets the void that remains corrupt him and the ring, unleashing a wave of darkness across his world, and now ours, as The Dawnbreaker.

I like that they used the same body as John’s. Reusing it almost creates a sense of uniformity with the two Lanterns.

It took years to finally get a single release Hal Jordan
I’m pretty sure that they will single release Hal Jordan like they did with red hood because he’s listed as his own figure on the back of the bloody Batman box
I think both McFarlane's Hal and John Stewart blend in with the Snyder Cut figures
For anyone who might be curious, the green of the constructs between the Dc Multiverse and the DC Icons Hal match up pretty well, my DCM Hal has a loose arm so he can't hold up the boxing glove construct but the green fist from the Icons does fit over his hand so I just use that. Also because the greens match up I also just use the Icons Lantern for him too.
The right arm for my Hal was a bit loose as well. I removed the arm and put a tiny amount of duct tape on the ball joint and then cut it with a knife to where it looks like the ball joint is wearing a beanie. I can't emphasize enough how little tape I used. But now they're way more rigid. Moving them feels weird, but it's better than being droopy.
I do dig this Hal head, maybe since the lighter brown evokes Hal to me more than darker hair would.
Glad to finally have a boxing glove construct that looks like it was be used on other GL figures! Also I hate that McFarlane is not including fisted ring hands with the GLs--those open hands just look so limp without any constructs on them (like for flying poses).
Wait! is that a Flash McFarlane Body with a dc direct Flashpoint flash head? wow! did the colors matched? It looks dope! 🤤
Had the same thing on mine. What a beautiful sculpted green lantern symbol, but poor paint job :/ Still an awesome figure!

They need to release Hal Jordan Green Lantern all by himself
Great review! I'd love to see Mcfarlane use the mold for a Hal Jordan Parallax with the white temples but with a better head sculpt.
I think I will wait for the single release but will look good on my DC shelf
Nice review as usual. I really like the head & think it looks exactly like Hal, no sure why it’s an issue with others. What does bug me is that I can’t get him individually, the Dawnbreaker version is just simply a lame character & I don’t like or want it. Oh well, McFarlane continues to be hit or miss.
Thought I saw somewhere that Hal was supposed to be coming out individually in the future. Haven’t heard that recently though, so maybe not gonna happen, not sure. I’m not interested in any of the Death Metal or Dark Multiverse characters, so hoping if nothing else maybe a Hal vs Sinestro 2-pack will come out someday. Also waiting for a Flash vs Reverse Flash 2-pack, now that Reverse Flash has been revealed.
Don't understand why Todd re-released this Dawnbreaker, its an annoying thing that he does, this isn't even different from the original one. Out of all the characters he could have put Hal with, like a sinestro would have been good. So if you wanted the Hal only, you need to get him separated for more money on ebay or get this 2 pack lol
I got this 2 days ago and while I liked the Hal Jordan the way his head is positioned bothered me and my dawnbreaker had on of the tubes on his head fused on the base of the head sculpt
Love the figures but hate the ankle joints. Have to line the line on the ball just right with the foot. Which wouldn’t be a problem if you could get just the ball right but mine always gets stuck. Also Brad must be using a filter to brighten the colors because the white on the gloves of my figure looks really dingy

Just got into collecting the mcfarlane mutiverse figures. I bought the green lantern John Stewart today as my first comic figure and I got the target exclusive justice league superman and the masked bloodsport from the movies

Hi there.. I live in Ottawa and we’re about 6 months behind with regards to McFarlane DC figures… I bought approximately 35-40 of the early ones so far but now this is getting ridiculous!! I have never even seen dr fate lol… I don’t buy from scalpers nor online because I hate paying S&H.. where the heck did you find this?? I heard you saying once you lived in Canada but where?? Lol.. I’ve given up but Hal Jordan is my favourite and I know I’ll jump all over it if I can find it!!!

Hal’s my favorite GL, but the headsculpt just ruins it for me. Great headswap though and a wonderful video, as usual

Yeah I bet they will release a single Hal. In my case I passed for the dawnbreaker once, now I'm kind of forced to buy this pack.

The Dio piece looks like a giant green jello turd. I think hal looks off. His torso seems kind of to wide and his arms feel strangely to long. Which are problems I think the John Stewart figure had. It's gonna be an easy pass. The head seems to small his proportions feel off. I don't know why the hal.jordon figure comes without fists. Why does he have dumb gripping hands if he doesn't grip anything? Todd please start stepping your game up. These figures remind me of the old toybiz marvel legends figures with wonky proportions. If the figure has nothing to grip then give us fists.
Cheap very cheap re-packing the dawnbreaker with Hal and using the John Stewart body repainted with a new head it's just not worth the asking price should have been hal and a new character another lantern oh well
I feel like he should not have the same body mold with GL John Stewart. And I don't really think the head sculpt is a good representation of Hal Jordan.
