Hi Dan, yes it's possible. You would have to record different tracks. So you would record your drum beat first on track 1, then record again but hold the record and track 2 button down at the same time and you play along to the drums however you wish either freestyle or with or without accompaniment. You can keep layering until you find the sound you want. Also if you have the accompaniment playing you can switch in and out of tracks. Hope that makes sense.

@@Lynnwilliamsmusic I tried recording the drumbeat on track 1 first. But when I tried recording my piano in track 2 , the track 1 recording if the drum did not start. Try it yourself you will see what I mean. I think it will only work with accompaniment. But sounds horrible with accompaniment

@@ChataCovers Hi Dan, ok so im in front of my keyboard and i've worked it out and seems quite complicated at first, heres in steps:
      1) press the song button and select the channel you're gonna record on (user 1to 9 channel 31 to 39)
      2) to lay down your drum track, select the style you want, but then unselect tracks 2 to 6 so you've just got track one the drums playing if you were to press start.
      3) you have to make sure the accompaniment on is showing (you will still only hear the drums)
      4) press record and start to record the drums only then stop when you've got all your bars and auto fills in. it writes the drum track onto track A.
      5) then you still have tracks 1 to 5 to seperately record your melody, bass, other percussion and voices over. (You press record and the track number at the same time)
Hope this helps. This was tried and tested by my better half who knows nothing about how to use the keyboard!

Hi Thank you - Nice to see a lady doing instructions nice and slowly. I have a E47 roland arranger and want to put my recorded songs on a USB stick ( from my keyboard) and then into Audacity or i tunes or windows media player which I already have on my computer. i tried sticking the usb stick into my computer and then uploading the files directly into all three but i cant hear anything. It says audiowav file. The Roland website is rubbish and the many U tube video are in a foreign language so next time I'm getting a Yamaha lol. Can you help?

Hi there, I'm not familiar with Roland keyboards, but from my experience, you would need to record from your keyboard to computer using a USB A to B port connection cable or a Midi to USB cable (depending on your sockets at the back of keyboard) this then converts sound from Midi to Audio so you can then record directly into Audacity. I've not had much luck with a flash drive, I think it may be something to do with the sound that comes out of your keyboard is Midi soundwaves, but this then needs to be converted to Audio waves. Hope this helps

No you dont, this video is about different ways to record something you've played. It's easy to get an accompaniment going. You just press the one touch accompaniment button. Check out minutes 6.45 on my video on psr190 quick start guide here ua-cam.com/video/14pDNt7iGhk/v-deo.html. Am just in the process of doing a other video which will be coming soon!

Hi I’m not sure about the PSR403 but should be similar to the EW 410 and if it is multi track capable then you have to hold the record button down at the same time as the track button that you want to record on. this should work
