Many are mentioning render issues of iPhone footage and I don't understand why you haven't talked about transcoding. I had the same issues first time, but worked like a charm when I transcoded it to apple prores.
I think I'm having this problem, when I go to export my footage the color is totally blown out, even though I color corrected on an adjustment layer. Any tips?
Problem, I’m having is when I import my footage. It’s super zoomed in even though it was taken further away and regular. If I edit it on CapCut, it comes out great
Hey @SANDMARC I have a question on, you. I see that you are not converting the iPhone videos to mp4. Is it not glitching in your Premiere Pro? What are your settings in this case? Bcs everytime I import iPhone videos in Premiere Pro the sound is ok, but the video glitches back on the beginning many times, which makes cuting impossible.
You should use an application called handbrake drag and drop the videos in there go to videos tab and select constant frame rate. And click start. Thats how i do it.
If you are having issues like choppy footage or audio out of sync, it is because of video codec. Use something like shutter encoder to transcode to some other codec like ProRes.
In my phone.. the videos are 4k 2160x3840 ... but now that I'm looking at them in Premiere ... it says they are compressed to 720x1080 ..? How do I fix this? I want the original quality
A lot of factors mate, first the screen difference. If you play it on your phone, the video is compressed to a small screen and can retain all the colors and details from the video. When you play it to your PC, it will be stretch out plus you also need to consider sRGB rate of your monitor.
For this content creator, I'm not convince he recorded those clips using an iphone. I used Iphone 13 max pro for my recent videos and the quality is dropping post production. It's pain in the ass, I should have bought sony A7SIII
Hi dude! I’ve recently record a full vlog on my iPhone XS Max. I have A LOTS of problem when I import .MOV footage like you did. I can import, but when I put clips on the timeline, the video and audio are out of sync and when for example I pause a clip and replay from where I stopped, the video starts from the beginning while the Audio keep playing from where I stopped.. do you have any solutions for this? Thanks in advance ✌️

Am I the only one who feels this way. I think Louie really had a lot of good things to say but the music in the background made listening to you impossible.
how are you using MOV files? i've heard that MOV files aren't compatible.

I get the same. The only workaround I've found is to re-process the footage into a better format.
@@RamsayMacFarlane I resolved this problem simply by going into the camera settings and by changing the format from high efficiency to more compatible
@@ElMasie what about existing footage or footage gathered from other people?

Yes you can you need to download a codec that’s what I did
👍👍 Great
All I want to do is correct under exposure. This is too much.
Your Music Sound is Higher then your Voice. Not easy to concentrate on what you are saying.
Great video! Now for the poor people who can’t afford to RENT Adobe products forever, could you show us what can be done with the free iMovie?
