Hogwarts at Gloucester

A short video of my visit to Gloucester Cathedral where they filmed part of the first two Harry Potter films and currently filming 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince'. A bit of fun for my online friends that couldn't be there to see it in person.

I think im very lucky to live in Gloucester, there is alot of really cool stuff here, despite the fact that we are now flooded with to many tourists.

I was there when they were filming half blood prince. Gloucester is my home town :) On friday Me & friends waited outside from 11am-4 & when they left the cathedral about half 3ish they were waving at us from their cars! Rupert had his window dwn & also did a thumbs up at us all lol, Daniel didnt have his window dwn but was laughing & smiling at us. The atmosphere was Immense. Best day evver!

11 years late but who cares lol... they used various locations for Harry Potter including a lot of sets being built at Leavesden studios itself. Alnwick Castle was used for parts of the first 2 films. Durham Cathedral was also used for the first 2 films. Gloucester Cathedral was used for the first 2 and the 6th film. Lacock Abbey was used for the first 2 films. Oxford was used pretty much in all of the first 5-6 films.
