My family moved to Gloucester in 1970, my dad and two brothers still live there. I don't remember it being so filthy in the 70's and 80's, perhaps back then we had dustbin lorries capable of grinding up sofas and mattresses.
Another problem in identifying the boundaries of White City is that a lot of the houses aren’t white any more. Most of the worst houses were pulled down in the late 90s and the early 2000s and replaced with new red-brick homes. The area is visible from the train if you are heading south on the west coast mainline. I recall making that journey and seeing dozens of boarded up houses, then next time I went through Gloucester by rail maybe two years later the same part of the city was unrecognizable. One notable omission from this list is western Podsmead. According to the 2019 Multiple Deprivation Index, the latest year for which figures are available, it’s the #1 most deprived area in the city and the county.
When I used to live in Coopers Edge, I'd often cut through Matson if I wanted to head towards the south side of Gloucester. Honestly, it's not that bad. Likewise the diversity on Barton street reminds me of the east end of London, just think of Upton Park and Plaistow or places like that. That being said, people would also say avoid Kingsway (back the day). Have to say though that I've had nothing but top service from the staff at Gloucester Royal. I'd have no issues recommending Gloucester over Cheltenham as a place to live. Worst bit about Gloucester is its road infrastructure. I live in the Forest of Dean now, and trying to get into work via the A40 in a respectable time is nigh on impossible. I daresay that even the aforementioned area's house prices are creeping up.
I also live in the Forest of Dean now after leaving Gloucester. Will also agree that the A40 and the roads leading into Gloucester are a joke. It can take ridiculously long to get in sometimes. The roads are now not fit for purpose with how many people are trying to use em.
Nice Video, I believe the division on Barton and Tredworth is which side of Barton Street your on, as Barton leads onto Chequers one way or Town Centre the other way/ Eastgate St.
I went to school in Cheltenham when my family lived there. I had a good friend who went to the Kings School in Gloucester and he hated the city. He said it was rough, violent and sleazy. I guess a lot of people agreed with him as I only went there once to Robinswood Barracks. Our school army cadet force was affiliated with the Gloucestershire Regiment who were at Robinswood at the time.
If your mate went to Kings hes probably a bit wet behind the ears. Have lived in many places and whilst Gloucester gets a bad rep its a quite, safe place to be.
I had a friend who lived in Upton St Leonards when it was a village and before it became a suburb. She took me to Cheltenham for the day when I visited her for the weekend as she didn't like Gloucester, and the following day, we wallked to Prinknash Abbey Bird Park. This was years before Fred and Rosemary West were arrested in 1995. The area they lived in was a nice part of inner Gloucester.
I lived off Barton Street for 5 years and loved it. Lovely neighbours and community. Sad to see it slated as its really not as bad as made out. Yes there are problems, but as long as you keep with things, no issues at all. Matson, Whit City and Coney Hill are where I felt unsafe. And also the roads around Cromwell Street in the city centre, very ropey around there.
If all the nice shops down by the quays were in the city centre, the city centre might be worth visiting, but they're not. If you're going to Gloucester visit the cathedral, then leave, ideally quickly.
I find all this very depressing. Once a place goes downhill, it is very rapid, people lose pride in their community (or so it seems, looking at this video). The amount of rubbish in the streets and on properties seems over whelming, it is one thing to look at it on the screen it is another to live there, it would drive me crazy. I am thankful that I live surrounded by mountains and forests here in NZ, and yes !! we have our rough areas, but nothing like depicted here. Thank you for showing us around and a happy new year to you. ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ ☺☺
Thanks for watching. This city is one of the cleanest and tidiest of the places I’ve covered on this channel! You’re lucky to have space and green landscape around you, there is certainly a correlation between how densely populated an area is and the social problems and untidiness!
There is always bad neighbourhoods on every city, the councils make it that way. It just depends how bad they are. Gloucester isn’t too bad thankfully.
I actually walked down that road and saw that house after the news came out but before the house was demolished. I found myself in Gloucester at that time and was curious to see it. An ordinary looking (end terrace I think?) house, on an ordinary street, but the windows and doors all bricked up. The place had a really bad vibe to it. I was glad to get away to be honest.
WhiteCity was built and named after Mr. White who may have been a councillor. It was built hidden behind posher houses on Finlay Road. Southfield Road was also posher and Northfield Road more common and I think there used to be a pub and they would sit in the lounge if from Southfield and bar if from Northfield. I’m sure there’s a UA-cam about it that was on TV years ago.
Gloucester city centre is a pedestrianised concrete jungle. I would be glad to get out of the city centre or visit the docks or cathedral when I was there. The Nature in Art museum is nearby out in the countryside north of the city.
I used to live in Barton area just behind Barton Street on Upton Street that area has changed a lot since 2008. Aunty also lived in Tredworth on Parry Rd. Love the brightly painted houses with the murals, really brightens up Barton area, reminds me of Brighton town centre and the Laines.
Nice. I think the bright colours are a huge upgrade to the area, haven’t been to Brighton but it reminds me of the rows of housing near the waterfront in Bristol.
Tasha is only doing that because she has a massive portfolio of properties and wants to increase the value of them by getting all the houses painted colourfully with all the murals etc. by making the area look a little nicer. She's not doing this out of altruism, I've also got some other choice words which I won't use as I'll get banned. I know a few homeowners who have had run-ins with her who would also say some choice words. Good luck if you're one of those people and you want to simply tell her "no, I don't want my house painted." Those houses are going to look terrible in 5 - 10 years if not maintained especially in lower income areas, something tells me she's going to sell off many of her properties before that happens though.
Today whilst walking down Barton Street I saw a man sharpening his knife on the wall, a crackhead with a traffic cone hat, and 2 lads who had just nicked a mobility scooter- one was receiving a backy down the road. Always eventful 😂
Greetings from probably the only Finnish subscriber of your channel. it's really interesting to watch your videos and see how the not-so-good areas look over there. Pip pip cheerio!
Thanks Johnny, I see Finland referred to as the 'happiest' country in the world in the Gallup World Poll, things must be pretty good over there!? Pip pip cheerio!
Honestly, I'm impressed - this is a good video. I am writing this comment in Matson. It's a good place to live in my opinion, but it certainly has its problems.
Enjoyed this. Lots of memories. Moved to Podsmead at the age of 2. Lived in Tuffley. Went to local schools. Had quite a good childhood. Question to the author of this post. What area did you grow up in?
I live in white city and it's a lovely quiet place, You literally filmed about 50 yards from my street and I can tell you that after living in Gloucester city centre for seven years, moving here was an amazingly nice move. I've had no trouble here. I am not a native of Gloucester and I like it here. Especially in white city. Also the block of flats you showed on Alvin street in Kingsholm is to be demolished and I understand the council are in the process of moving people out!
Very almost brought a house on Kingsholm but we walked around the area and it just felt unsafe especially around the tower block and some of the alleyways. Considering the house was close to 600k id want to live somewhere a bit more "boring" Genuinely gutted as the house was a 11/10 but i just wouldnt feel comfortable letting my daughter walk around in the evenings alone in a few years!
Coney Hill used to be 1 of the worst, but it's not too bad now since they moved a lot of the problem families out. The majority of them got moved to Kingsway, which now has a massive crime rate.
His thumbnail was the flat I grew up in in matson. Depression was definitely the word although back in the 90s was the last time it had a little safety. 2000s onwards I couldn’t play outside anymore and my adult neighbours would steal my clothes on the line when I was only 12 years old smh
Cant say im surprised after going through the city once and thinking it looks worse than derby and thats saying something. If you ever get the chance do some exlores there
I’m not ignoring those areas, definitely going to go around to them. The smaller towns and areas around the Black Country were recommended more often and I thought more interesting.
I live in Gloucester in kingsholm/wotton the area is partially misrepresented in this video, most of the issues come from the insane number of care homes, supported living units and rehab units as well as a couple of derelict buildings, overall I wouldn't have put kingsholm and wotton on the list, but instead I'd have selected Kingsway or Quedgley which are much rougher areas!
This is crazy, as someone from this city, I've lived in 2 of the areas mentioned (you showed the streets in the clips) and use to hang around the others growing up. Yes there was some antisocial behaviour but I didn't experience the same crime rates as there is now. Most areas of lower social economy have drug dealers living amongst them so that's nothing new. It's a real shame as I think the city has a lot of potential but not enough money pumped into it to compete with other bigger cities
thi s is correct the overriding fact here is, if you allow thousands of people who dont share your culture or pratices you end up with shite like this@@california7376
@@sarahwasheree Exactly!! I'm not sure if that Tash lady owns most of those properties or what her actual deal is, but never in a million years would I buy a bright orange house. Like you say, a few years of dirt and they will look bloody awful. I'm on high st, I cannot wait to leave, no grass or trees about , it's very oppressive.
I know Barnwood, I don’t think it was that bad, and it doesn’t appear high up on the stats for deprived or dangerous areas. You think it’s as bad as the areas on this video?
@@ukexplored mr foster was not the only person to get mugged in matson....four years ago i was seeing an ex-girlfriend who lived in matson...and ...yes...i was mugged...... some bloke with a electric -razor mugged me....this guy was crazy.....he took my wallet...my phone.....my watch.....and a little of the sides.
Born in Matson in the early 60's. Great place to grow up then as everybody, and I mean everybody took great pride in their surroundings and property's even though we were all renters on a large council estate. Started going downhill in the 90's for whatever reason, under privileged people/families dependent on the state, I don't really know. Still visited my mum a couple of times a week there where I grew up until her passing 8 months ago. To be honest, on the whole, there are some really nice areas in Matson which are nicely kept. Recently sold mums house after being on the market for just 2 days, so that says something about the place in my opinion. Agree with most here, Glos city centre is a shit hole and the council hasn't a clue what to do with it.
Yeah, I think I said in the video I know people who live in Matson. Don’t think I’m trying to make it look bad, I went with the published stats as I said. And for the record, I think sheep should be allowed to roam freely all over the country. 🐑
i lived in gloucester all my life longlevens. barton and robinswood 4 mins into the video you show a property 120 millbrook street. i actually lived in that house for 5 years lol..left my key in the door one night and someone burgled my house so that sais alot. its abandoned now. the guy who owned it died. totally agree. that area is a shit hole. the worst place to live in gloucester imo. the house wasnt bad on the inside but the area is messy loud and rifiled with crime
Ha ha I’m from Gloucester. Lived in Tredworth for 16 years. My Mum lives in Matson and I work in Barton. I know all those areas well. You could have included Coney Hill and Kingsway but I guess 5 areas is enough. I moved to Stroud. A hippy dippy place but because of the station again some down and outs get here. Many large shops have or are closing here but the shopping centre was recently revamped.
@@ukexplored @sarahwasheree Kingsway's crime rate is way below that of these areas so definitely not in the same bracket. 2022 was 97.7 compared to Coney Hill which is 183.2. It's the 7th lowest crime rate in Gloucester for 2022, and the 9th overall if you average the yearly rate since 2007 against all Gloucester areas including those outside the City boundary like Churchdown, Brockworth, Hardwicke etc. Coney Hill is 21st out of 25 with the worst being Westgate, Barton & Tredworth, Podsmead and Kingsholm & Wotton. Abbeymead has the lowest average rate and also the lowest rate last year, with Churchdown Brookfield and Quedgeley Severnvale just behind it.
Surprised you didn't include the area in and around Cromwell St. I don't just mention this because of the Wests but when I visited Gloucester, this area looked very run down with loads of boarded up shops and dilapidated buildings. It has also historically been an area of bedsits and temporary accommodation with not many people taking pride in their homes. Perhaps it's changed recently but I was last in Gloucester 10 years ago and it looked really bad then.
That area is pretty much attached to the city centre, so the crime stats are through the roof as with most cities. I wanted to cover the worst housing estates in this video.
So much unjustified negativity...You need to live there to Judge ...I am a Proud Cheltonian yet I go always to Gloucester...Plenty of money for investment in Gloucester ..Getting better all the time...Leaving Cheltenham Spa miles behind...For goodness sake show the positive aspects on all these place Videos.!!!!!
I sold up and left in 2018, people kept breaking into my garden and over the years I had a few bikes nicked even when I chained them up in my own garden. I lived on conduit street.
I live in Matson nothing wrong with council estates if your brought up on and around them I was born and raised in Gloucester spent the first 30 yrs of my life living in tree worth I lived in Devon for ten years and I can tell you theirs areas their I wouldn’t let the cat wander round at night way worse then Gloucester not naming any but they exist
Where do you live? I've been to many areas in and around Glos, areas in Wales too, they all have places like this. Councils have too many depts everywhere all working from offices, you never see a ward rep. Reform want to change this and go back to home checks, if your home and garden aren't clean and tidy you get evicted. Already there already lefties saying this is wrong, but they are wrong. Council taxes go up each year yet policing go down and st cleaners are near zero.
What on earth has changed in Gloucester over the last couple of decades. It used to be great safe place to visit and live. What has caused it to deteriorate so badly.
Diversity as our government like to say. I physically watched the place go downhill and moved out in 2018 because it was becoming so bad. I cannot imagine what it’s like now as I moved to the Forest of Dean and don’t need to visit that area anymore.
i live in gloucester,, white city no where near as ruff as it once was 20yrs ago,, 1 of the better areas to live,,, worse area in gloucester is kingsway by a country mile
Yes, I agree, Kingsway was a failed housing experiment. Someone explained to me that the building company ran out of money on the porject and had to sell off a higher proportion of housing to the council than planned and it went downhill from there. The area doesn't show up higher than the other areas on the stats though, but I know about its reputation.
Lived in kingsolm for 15 years and whilst we get increased crime due to town and the rugby I have never had an issue and is generally a nice place to live
@@StephenOverthrowmy 4 bed Victorian house on conduit street in tredworth was super nice and absolutely massive. I sold it and moved to the Forest of Dean 7 years ago now.
Im still in white city but also grew up in "coney hill" which also has a rep like white city. I think should be on there. First estate to have cctv put up in the streets.
I don't know, but White City looks sweet. They need a assigned trash place which is free, they have potential. I guess they could find one or two people who would set up something by the community to care for it, if the government would invest in this place. It was like a refreshing, lovely scene after all of the footage of the neighboring towns.
THE LABOUR PARTY WANTS TO BUILD NEW HOMES ON THE MEDOW ! THIS CITIES HAVE TO BE RESTORED AND UPGRADED; NEW BUILT HOMES WILL LOOK THE SAME AFTER A FEW YEARS IN CASE THEY ARE NOT MAINTAINED! WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO LIVE THERE NOT TAKING CARE OF THEIR SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT!
Matson and white city are council estates you must of been born with a golden spoon in your mouth as you know nothing of these places and the community spirit it has...all you can do is run it down n show the worst...shows what you know...I'm gloucester born n bred...I'm proud to be from Gloucester.
Yet if you ask our glorious MP Richard Graham...he thinks it is such a fabulous place. Obviously this report, and accompanying film clips are just not true lol...
White City is not bad at all. Actually, i'd go and say it's good. Maybe it's biased because i was raised there, but Tredworth, Kingsholm, Matson, and Podsmead are definitely much worse than White City. Coney Hill can also be said to be a bad area, but i lived there for a short while, and it was just quiet for me. Barton Street, as always, is a 'Avoid at all times, especially at night'.
I’ve been around a lot of Stroud, there are some tatty areas for sure, but i didn’t see any areas I thought would be of public interest. I’ll take another dive on google maps!
oh my , sorry I managed to read your message as ‘Matson’ road somehow. Doh! I’ll take a look. I was over in Stoud just today actually, Stratford Park 😀
It didn’t feature highly on the published crime stats. But that doesn’t mean it ain’t bad or dangerous, of course. I know Brockworth, but I haven’t taken a walk on foot around the worst spots.
Brockworth is technically in Tewkesbury district, such is the local insanity of our political boundaries. Coopers Edge is in two different districts, and right on the border of Gloucester officially. I've lived in Brockworth in the past, it is pretty rough - for context, I'm from Tredworth originally and grew up mostly in Matson!

Grate drone work Philip.
Should of done coney hill in Gloucester
Keep up the audit of local areas, It needs highlighting .. Bravo.
Appreciate you watching, and I will. I’ve started getting out and about again this year. 👍
I always thought Gloucester was one of thought towns that didn’t have any worst areas other than Fred West’s street but I was wrong
@@sarahwashereeI have a small part of that video
Yet Cromwell Street is in a nice part of inner Gloucester and close to the railway station and to the south west of it.
Good luck if you're one of those people and you want to simply tell her "no, I don't want my house painted."
Those houses are going to look terrible in 5 - 10 years if not maintained especially in lower income areas, something tells me she's going to sell off many of her properties before that happens though.
Who’s your aunty
Today whilst walking down Barton Street I saw a man sharpening his knife on the wall, a crackhead with a traffic cone hat, and 2 lads who had just nicked a mobility scooter- one was receiving a backy down the road. Always eventful 😂
And then the police just drive on right past like always, seen it all too often.
Lived in tredworth for 16 years and watched it massively go downhill. What an absolute dump it was the last time I went back.
I'm surprised you didn't explore Kingsway, that place is the most feral town in Gloucestershire!
Yes. Lovely, new housing development filled with a lot of vermin. A real shame.
@@rw8733they’ve ruined innsworth as well with that massive new estate next to the army barracks.
Considering the house was close to 600k id want to live somewhere a bit more "boring"
Genuinely gutted as the house was a 11/10 but i just wouldnt feel comfortable letting my daughter walk around in the evenings alone in a few years!
Coney Hill used to be 1 of the worst, but it's not too bad now since they moved a lot of the problem families out. The majority of them got moved to Kingsway, which now has a massive crime rate.
Born and raised in Tredworth..... I still live there!!
It really has taken a nose dive over the last 20 years....
So has every city in the western world. Here in the USA it is no different. The American Dream is slowly turning into a bad one for many citizens.
hmmm, I wonder why.. I can't quite put my finger on it...
I lived there for 16 years. By 2018 I’d had enough and sold my house on Conduit Street to move to the Forest of Dean.
Injoyed your video thank you
totally off topic but what's the tune you used as background for tredworth bit? thanks.
It's a piece called 'Maximum Security', it's one of the royalty free tracks built into my editing software.
Pronounced "Kings- Home"
(Dont forget Fred and Rose west of Cromwell Street)
Those flats in Matson, really awful, enough to make anyone depressed 😢
His thumbnail was the flat I grew up in in matson. Depression was definitely the word although back in the 90s was the last time it had a little safety. 2000s onwards I couldn’t play outside anymore and my adult neighbours would steal my clothes on the line when I was only 12 years old smh
Beautiful city,to much different cultures.
Matson also has a large ski slope.
Cant say im surprised after going through the city once and thinking it looks worse than derby and thats saying something. If you ever get the chance do some exlores there
You should do Alumn Rock, Handworth & Newtown in Birmingham and all the parts of Birmingham you ignored before.
I’m not ignoring those areas, definitely going to go around to them. The smaller towns and areas around the Black Country were recommended more often and I thought more interesting.
Newtown is the worst place I know
I live in Gloucester in kingsholm/wotton the area is partially misrepresented in this video, most of the issues come from the insane number of care homes, supported living units and rehab units as well as a couple of derelict buildings, overall I wouldn't have put kingsholm and wotton on the list, but instead I'd have selected Kingsway or Quedgley which are much rougher areas!
These areas look pretty good compared to Slough and some of the others you covered.
Yeah, gloucester isn’t too bad, this is the worst of it, so it’s nice to see the contrast between different areas.
the reason is....Slough is Pakistan and not the U.K.
thi s is correct
the overriding fact here is, if you allow thousands of people who dont share your culture or pratices you end up with shite like this@@california7376
Slough tho. 🤣
Your thumbnail was the flat I grew up in, in matson 😂
What are the chances of seeing your old place, eh!
Glad to hear you moved away if you were experiencing all of that!
We don't need brightly painted houses we need social cohesion.
There are some things a ‘new kick of paint’ can’t fix. 😀
@@ukexplored Agreed.
I don’t like them. The colours clash and I just think how will they look in a couple of years when they get dirty.
imprting thousands of people from all over the world ho despise you and hate your culture will not magically allow for social cohesion
You’ve got it pretty spot on. Raised in Tredworth, wouldn’t step in it these days
I know st James Street.
The stats don’t lie. But to be honest, a lot of the other places I’ve visited on the channel were worse than Gloucester if I’m being positive here.
Off high street?
I lived in Conduit Street for 16 years. It is now an absolute dump. I sold up and moved out to the Forest of Dean in summer 2018.
What about Barnwood and surrounding area..please can upu cove
I know Barnwood, I don’t think it was that bad, and it doesn’t appear high up on the stats for deprived or dangerous areas. You think it’s as bad as the areas on this video?
@@ukexplored no chance, Barnwood is lush compared to these.. good list mate!
Also, shout out to Abu's Fish and chips on high st.
The SLOWEST service you will literally ever receive.
Try the new burger shop where it used to be at the bottom of high street
Trafalgar fish and chips near tredworth primary school was great. Bossman in there is really nice.
mr foster went to Gloucester in the pouring rain.
… and got mugged in matson. 😀
GTA Gloucester. 😂
Dope mag vendor 👍👍
39 years in matson and really not that bad
Yeah, I think I said in the video I know people who live in Matson. Don’t think I’m trying to make it look bad, I went with the published stats as I said. And for the record, I think sheep should be allowed to roam freely all over the country. 🐑
..So true man! the only good thing about Glos is GFM radio station!!
moved to cornwall..but them vibes remembered
i lived in gloucester all my life
longlevens. barton and robinswood
4 mins into the video you show a property 120 millbrook street. i actually lived in that house for 5 years lol..left my key in the door one night and someone burgled my house so that sais alot. its abandoned now. the guy who owned it died. totally agree. that area is a shit hole. the worst place to live in gloucester imo. the house wasnt bad on the inside but the area is messy loud and rifiled with crime
continuing watching the video...5 mins 37..thats my nan outside her front door talking to someone lol
Stroud feels like a nice escape from Gloucester, some good and bad there line everywhere. Can’t escape those down and outs though! 😀
The food market in Stroud is great and there are so many delicious eateries around the area
@deniseg-hill1730 can't stand the hills in stroud.
You did not do The Rainbow Avenues/Streets justice.!!!!!Super.....
It’s pretty much all either student accommodation or multiple occupancy nowadays round there.
Absolutely tons of trap houses in Gloucester.
I lived in Tredworth for four years, it was o the rough side then in the late 1970s, but it looks bloody terrible now.
Whatever you do, dont go to manuels 🤢🤦🏻♂️
I visited Gloucester once. Was surprised it was a xxxxx hole.
I wonder 💭
Immigration
Diversity as our government like to say. I physically watched the place go downhill and moved out in 2018 because it was becoming so bad. I cannot imagine what it’s like now as I moved to the Forest of Dean and don’t need to visit that area anymore.
Do Bournemouth/poole
Just avoid Old Christchurch road. 💀
Please do Croydon in South London. I went to that bankrupt council today and it was horrible.
We're going to get to London at some point, it just requires some planning as it's more difficult to cover distance.
@DJSwezzleMusic You went to the actual council offices, or to the town in general?
Labour council ***
lived here all my life absolute shithole these areas (born in tredworth)
Those would be some of the best areas up north
Yeah, like I said, I’ve been to way worse places. But faced with the house prices and cost of living down south, I’d find somewhere in the middle 😀
Ross kemp on gangs you are mind....lmao.
i was adopted from russet house in matson when it was a childs home
Barton hosted the infamous "Gloucester Shoe Bomber"
i live in gloucester,, white city no where near as ruff as it once was 20yrs ago,, 1 of the better areas to live,,, worse area in gloucester is kingsway by a country mile
@ukexplored yea the worse area imo.. barton not that bad.. keep yaself to yaself.. people are friendly enuff
Lived in kingsolm for 15 years and whilst we get increased crime due to town and the rugby I have never had an issue and is generally a nice place to live
Cromwell Rd would probably be of the worst
Yeah, true. I didn’t include what I’d call the ‘city centre’ and tried to focus on housing estates.
Im glad I left Gloucester 28 years ago. Total slum.
Lol
Gloucester has lovely houses and high streets!
It does have some nice areas to be fair, and yeah some interesting housing across the city.
Yeah, where?
@@StephenOverthrowmy 4 bed Victorian house on conduit street in tredworth was super nice and absolutely massive. I sold it and moved to the Forest of Dean 7 years ago now.
Im still in white city but also grew up in "coney hill" which also has a rep like white city. I think should be on there. First estate to have cctv put up in the streets.
Yeah Coney Hill has a reputation and I know it well. It just didn’t come up in the official policing stats for the top 5.
THIS CITIES HAVE TO BE RESTORED AND UPGRADED; NEW BUILT HOMES WILL LOOK
THE SAME AFTER A FEW YEARS IN CASE THEY ARE NOT MAINTAINED! WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO LIVE THERE NOT TAKING CARE OF THEIR SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT!

Kingsholm looks a lot like where i live
Kingsholm is quiet
O dear.
Having lived in most of these areas they are all fine. Every city has crime, compared to Bristol it’s soft

I live in kingsholme and it's nice place. It's ignorant people I don't like. I've lived in Coventry.

No offense i knew barton street was one of them no offense if u live in Barton street glos
No one should get offended, it is what it is if you live in a high crime area. It’s the local authorities we should be ashamed of in my opinion.
Who the hell made this must have a lot of time
Matson and coney Hill
Coney Hill has a reputation and I considered filming there but the worst part is quite a small area and it’s been cleaned up a lot in recent years.
@ukexplored yes.20 odd yrs ago it was a well known rough area.
I was born there, its a dump the accent is mad lool I moved out to London does bring back memories though
Lm.
I definitely think you should have Brockworth on your list. It's a dangerous hole of a place...
It didn’t feature highly on the published crime stats. But that doesn’t mean it ain’t bad or dangerous, of course. I know Brockworth, but I haven’t taken a walk on foot around the worst spots.
@ukexplored believe me it's BAD!!!
