The main problem with playing this style in Guardian/Crusader/Archon is you just can’t leave your core in lane on their own. They just don’t know effective creep aggro / how to play safe / understanding you don’t have to get every single last hit if you are still getting the XP. The amount of times I’ve tried to rotate only for my offlane to run into a creep wave for 1 last hit against a CM/Jug for example, then to tilt and flame when they feed against frostbite/spin. Such a braindead bracket It’s so hard to get out of the trenches playing support so you get to experience higher skill play with people with who understand why you have left them in lane. Your move to mid to fuck with Sniper and then further rotate to top to secure 2 more kills was one of the best examples of pos4 impact I have seen. I wish all cores could watch this and understand!! Such a simple concept
In his original smurf series I went from Legend 1 to Divine 3. Probably the best content for people to realize all the things they do wrong. He comments on what the enemy should be doing in real time and has awesome tips.

"They must not be hearing my pings, maybe I'm muted or stn" yeah.... they're definitely not just completely ignoring anyway who calls rosh like every single other herald player (as someone that's bounced between top of herald and bottom of crusader and keeps getting ignored by the team at rosh)
Finally, Making things and doing things right. I was fine with you smurfing back then and creating that educational guides but lately I feel like smurfing is bad not because I encountered them (note: I no longer really play dota) but because I am now playing valo and found smurfing educative series from other yt there counter intuitive. It also goes to show how a smurf mindset work compared to a veteran player. It becomes second nature to you and the game sense is incomparable to lower rated players. I think it is more better for you to coach low rated players like Eri Neeman back then. I like how you showed Eri to master the fundamentals first then as a support get into the eyes and experience of a carry and learn how and what exactly the carry needs. We need more of this guides but essentially perhaps is a playlist for each role and guide to work with. Thanks for the doing things right this time! Kudos for a private lobby!
well, this is actually something BSJ learned from Qojqva that when you cant kill them or do anything else, just fk around with them. There is several reasons for that: 1 dota is a game of mistakes, by bothering them you are increasing the chances they get tilted and make a bad decision. 2 efficiency, small but frequent decisions stack up. Bothering sniper here and there on mid makes him have a worse game than lina which tilts things in her favor. So if both are running a race at 50, but you bother one guy to make him go 45 (harass) and help the other go at 55(fill bottle), then you are actually giving a 10 advantage to your guy which with enough reps the distance between them will become very large. 3 that is how you learn your limits of what you can and cant get away with. Sure you will probably mess up a few times but hopefully if you learn ''hey I cant fk around with that hero, he'll just kill me'' you will become a better player
it took you 2.5 mins (including before 0:00 time) to use your first spell on the range creep. USE YOUR SPELLS, MANA is FREE. You're at full mana again at 3:05 and don't use a spell until 3:54. USE YOUR MANA. Harrass the spec, force him to use regen. Instead, you walk back home with 90% mana pool and 10% hp.... This is poor laning from what's supposed to be a strong laning duo...
I think there were 3 reasons he didn't do this: 1. Playing from forest-side, he really only had one chance to do it in that time frame where it wouldn't also hit the creeps and needlessly push the lane. (not pushing lane) 2. He was saving it to secure a creep kill in case his Pos3 looked like he was going to miss (prioritizing early CS vs. harass). 3. Talking too much, probably just forgot.
Are there any videos on how dangerous your lane is? You mentioned how you werent scared of a cm spectre, but would be vs ck lich. How do you know which of those is scary?
Can you make more support oriented videos so actually more people would want to play the role. For example after your carry heroes guide videos I was really motivated to try them and played at least 5 games with each hero.
sorry bsj but if your team listens to you it isn't herald smurfing. you've got to be actually smurfing for the real comparison. i remember being herald when i started dota and telling people to push lanes, but instead after killing 3-5 people they went back to farm jungle. doing high level plays will send heralds on a tilt spree.
I also believe that climbing is easier as support (as a returning player ofc. we dont smurf without consent) babysitting and guiding your team (even when they don't realize it) makes much more impact than just playing mid or carry 4 strong idiots usually win more games than 1 strong smart player
with this particular type of series i think we all win when we destroy the 3 lanes, the thing is most of our low mmr games are just people feeding 3 lanes not even properly playing dota so idk how much helpfull this can be.
This was so helpful being able to watch this and compare it to my lobbies and see what kind of things I should be trying to think about in my games. Such a good series man you’re helping a lot of people thanks

Otherwise it will bring in frustration and if you will ever play solo, you will lose as you wont be able to play on the rank you would be. Good rule of thumb is to go lane together, and pick heroes that goes well together on the lane.
I want a educational video on below situations: 1. What would you do if your Carry gets DC. Or how to Rank up when one of your core gets DC after 20-30 mins of farming. 2. What would you do when you team took support role and is taking last hits using skills or high base damage. 3. How to CONVINCE teammates to push the lane(s) when 4-5 enemies are dead already and not go BACK to our jungle to farm. 4. How to motivate teammates who types GG more than using skills or thinking how to farm more. 5. How to convince teammates that a game can be won with 3 items as well. (Scenario: I was NP, at 5 min I took the tower by 80-90% with the help of cart and treants. My core said.. don’t push.. it’s only 5 mins.. chill)
BSJ or anyone who actually understands dota. I had a game playing Abba pos 5 with Alch carry and sniper pos 2. Sniper got ganked by pos 4 and 5 + mid Zeus. I TPed, saved him and we kill pos 5. Then I went back to my Alch but they attacked my sniper again so I went to mid again. While I was saving sniper, my alch died solo to Underlord, flamed me and left the game. It was around 8 minutes into the game. I had a few games like that. So I wanted to ask. If I have a carry that is in constant need of me being around him, should I not TP mid? My pos 4 never TPed and my alch didn't go to jungle.
My advice is get into the habit of pinging :) Oftentimes carry players are focusing too much on last hits and don't monitor their supports' movements too much. If you see a fight mid and want to tp, use tp and then use your 3 free seconds to ping the alche and then ping mid. This will grab his attention and make him aware that you're tping, so that he can play safe. If he still dies, then it is what it is. You can't win 100% of all games, you will have shitty games every now and then. The problem is that when people think back on their games they will only recall the ones that were unwinnable, and forget the ones where they screwed up themselves. In the majority of games players on both sides are roughly matched in that both sides will make mistakes, and if you're the only one not making mistakes then the game will be favored towards you. ;)
@@tharukaperera7592 thanks for the advice. Playing on pos 4/5 in 3.5k mm and it is sometimes hard to manage monitoring the map, yourself and opponents movement. @@RubInWax communication is big for this kinda thing as a support especially when you have 1 alch 2 sniper. that being said if your alch died solo to underlord i think he was probably being obstinate about cs or the lane was left in a terrible position and underlord was making it hard for him to farm and he got mad. You can also try saying hey bro do u need me? That goes a long way sometimes because instead of him worrying that ur gonna grief if he asks u to leave or tells u "dont roam babysit me" u give him the choice and also understand what he needs in that moment. seems that alch got zoned early and u were rotating to help a ganked teammate, the only thing i can really see here that seems weird to me is, you said the 4/5 are ganking sniper alot, shouldnt that be scouted either from missings or wards so u have more time to respond appropriately? that would be my only grey area otherwise u just kinda got screwed over, this is similar kinda situation as when carry dies while support pulling except there are more variables so its possible u should have sat on him but most likely u did the right thing except should have communicated more, but even then u might still get punished. also one thing to consider whenever ur leaving ur carry that bsj preaches alot is can he win 1v1 or is this sustainable 1v1 for your carry that you should consider when leaving as 5 but in the case of alch vs underlord i think u can leave him 1v1, tho i dont play either hero very much so i could be wrong.
@@sriley4458 thanks for the answer. Maybe I did a typo. Sniper was ganked 1st time but he was ganked by 2 supports. I was pinging him and screaming in VC but he was blind so I TPed. My lane was ok. Alch put a skillpoint into stun and he actually traded me twice so he was 2 and 0 and he had above 50% of mana and HP, while creeps were closer to our tower. IDK what actually happened there cuz there was only Underlord and him and nobody TPed there. I haven't watched replay cuz I was really pissed after the game so I can't tell for sure how he died 1vs1. And I just felt like my team muted me from the start, cus I was the only one communicating. Maybe it was a problem too. But thanks for your words. I'll try to consider all the things next time I get into the same situation. It feels sometimes I can make rushed decisions.
Communication + where is the lane equilibrium (is the core lane partner safe for now). Ideally you don't have 2 Uber greedy cores in 1 and 2 like alch + snipe. Sometimes things are too much for 1 support to handle but in the long run these habits will win you games.
genuine question to the community and bsj, how long do you guys think dota will ast? if ia m to invest time and money now , will the game be around for 3 years at least?
matchmaking is so broken at the moment that I would say its not worth to invest any money. Boosting services and smurfs are more common than regular players
You'll have to deal with cons as long matchmaking queues depending on the role you wanna play and also the higher mmr the worse it gets. But honestly, I doubt dota will die nearsoon. 3 years sounds little for me, I am sure dota could last 5 years or more without a doubt. But I think Valve is a very garbage company since they don't do anything about their most concerning problems and imo the quality of their contant has decreased over the years. But still, Dota is too adictive and great to die soon.
Harold 5 here. I didnt quite understand the decision to go glimmer instead of force staff: i get the vision-orientated match, but the area silence from NS, the root from treant and the spectre copy would have made me go force staff...
U cant really run with forcestaff if spec or ns jumps to you. Then why glimmer? Its magic resist plus 2 option if they want to kill you. Theyre jumping to you with supports bringing detection, or you force ns and spectre to buy dust which most time they wont buy especially on lower bracket. Even if spec jumps you early stage of the game, u will get out most of the time if ur low hp and he tries to kill you, hex, shackle plus glimmer. How bout ns? Silence yes, thats why u glimmer, -1 slot for ns if he wants to kill you solo. Also u can preempetively use glimmer if ns ult to hide yourself for a brief second to make him target ur team instead of you. Shaman is a good controller so he need to not get caught firsy
How are 1.7k average 3 cores all farm almost efficiently? As far as I watched the games from there AT LEAST 1 of them is doing some weird shit for no apparent reason. Maybe thats how they play when relaxed? You need more angry inadequates for more authentic pub emulation imho.
The way BSJ narrated everything he did in this game was great, especially with the insite of what he would expect his opponents to be doing if they were a higher tier player.
The real smurfing is in 'gen pop', which is Archon 1 - Ancient 2 (or 3-ish). The first 3 medals are just braindeads pressing (well, actually not pressing) buttons.
Sometimes things are too much for 1 support to handle but in the long run these habits will win you games.
genuine question to the community and bsj, how long do you guys think dota will ast? if ia m to invest time and money now , will the game be around for 3 years at least?
lmao, what a weird question tbf. You realize that dota is one of the best paying esports games there is?
ofc, its one of valves most popular games
matchmaking is so broken at the moment that I would say its not worth to invest any money.
Thanks everyone for the replies 😁
in ur mini map how do u have all those ward positions ??
Advanced night vision, arkosh gags still strong. I'd also suggest removing the Minimap cover so we can see the map properly
im always doing his gameplay when playing as support, but enemies are reporting me for being smurf :(
Educational AF! ty
Effectively high mmr players on the opposite team...
how high we talking?
like rank 2000s? rank 200s?
very educational bsj thanks
Yus! Been waiting for this/hoping you'd do a vid like this!!
I'm just confidence playing supp hero, can you give some tips how to win with supp role? Thanks BSJ, always love your videos!
Great idea, thanks for making the video!
How do you get that kind of minimap?
Harold 5 here. I didnt quite understand the decision to go glimmer instead of force staff: i get the vision-orientated match, but the area silence from NS, the root from treant and the spectre copy would have made me go force staff...
spec and ns can chase you down even if you force staff
Glimmer has magic resistance makes u tankier and even with force staff NS and Spectre have movement speed boosts making it useless
Shaman is a good controller so he need to not get caught firsy
thx guys, it was really clarifying :)
@BananaSlamJamma pls organize some of these "smurf pubs" for when you travel so we can sign up plzzzzz
I dont know if this educational content would work in SEA server. What do you think?
How are 1.7k average 3 cores all farm almost efficiently? As far as I watched the games from there AT LEAST 1 of them is doing some weird shit for no apparent reason. Maybe thats how they play when relaxed? You need more angry inadequates for more authentic pub emulation imho.
what the hell? That cm didn't secured one bounty rune?
is this still running? I'm down to join
holy fucking shit this taught me more than those gamerz classes
The way BSJ narrated everything he did in this game was great, especially with the insite of what he would expect his opponents to be doing if they were a higher tier player.
man i would totally sign up for this but the ping would be way too bad in straya
why is your mini map looking like this
it looks like a "i'm walking around game doing nothing game" but it works !
One thing I can take from this vid is that sometimes you just fucking don't have anything to do
Do one of these in every role? ❤
BSJ deserved 1M subs
Always having a smoke and sentry handy. Noice.
Stream sniper? What are you turning into BSJ? Slacks?!
you should change the title, how to remove noob dota players by smurfing PRO dota Channel
The real smurfing is in 'gen pop', which is Archon 1 - Ancient 2 (or 3-ish). The first 3 medals are just braindeads pressing (well, actually not pressing) buttons. It's more or less luck and gaben's idiotic 50% win rate algo. I'd suggest you do this kind of videos with dudes that have 2k to 3.5k mmr or a bit higher.
Just one suggestion. Shouldn't you change your name and remove the guild label? The people in the enemy team look pretty scared and they don't seem to be trying very hard.
pls make more of this bsj
will we see core gameplay in later episodes?
How can i get that overlay?
The problem with this is that it shows how it's done... as a high MMR player. It won't be as easy or the same as a low MMR player.
you missed an enemy ward hint at 13:47
I think you are not taking into account the toxic part of those medals and how difficult it is because of all that to get out of there.
Thank you for your service.
Love this series!!!
hey bsj .can you make tinker guide?
what would be interesting is, take a game to like 19-5, then like switch to the other team lol
Ohhs so now i get it. 1st play and be good as an immortal, then smurf my way through heralds!
