Ak: jammed
Shooter: Throw the jammed one out the window and grab another from the crate
Or just throw it on the ground, the impact will unjam it and if you throw it hard enough it'll bounce up and you can catch it.
I am of course joking... Don't slam your jammed guns into the ground people.
It jammed because of capitalist ammunition being used
Or do a tap, rack and bang.
If that doesn't work, remove the magazine, cycle the bolt several times, insert new mag, cycle again and bang
Just like a 1911.
@Tranhoang Long ak's do not have an open bolt system
@Tranhoang Long ak open bolt system? I would like to see that.
I love how the South African version of the Galil, the R4, has kept the bottle opener function with the bipod 😂
I am impressed that the SA gun varient is rated so highly. Explains why it was adopted.
My dad used the R4 in the 90s
Braai!
R 4 the best "extreme warfare"!
I actually thought this top spot belonged to the south African gun. I was just surprised. Its nice to watch gun reviews that aren't simply ego stroking. Nice vid. LOVE my k98!
My Glock and my Honda had one thing in common:
Despite both having a stellar reputations for reliability, neither lived up to the hype.
Odds are you spent plenty of time and money modifying both.
@@jeffreytackett3922 Glocks are simply not as reliable as what everyone voraciously reports.
Lol as someone who has been in the Honda game this is hilarious.
You have to treat a Honda like the bitch it is! My Accord hasn't had the hood up except for oil changes in over 80K miles, and I drive it like it's stolen. My new '06 Impala had to be taken back to the dealer 18 times.
Honda owners be like:
"Dude Hondas are so reliable! Mine barely has issues. I mean when I bought it I just had to replace the valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, front and rear main seals, cam seals, wheel bearings, brake calipers, radiator, coolant hoses, thermostat, exhaust manifold gasket, vacuum lines, water pump, timing belt, oil pump, head gasket, spark plugs, heater core, valve stem seals, distributor, and fuel pump, but ever since then it's been running flawlessly!"
The most reliable gun is my Super Soaker. I've had mine for over 20 years and it has never failed me.
damn i am stuck with my nerf revolver
+The Noobinator the nerf revolver is a great choice I would say it's the closest thing to the Super Soaker and reusable ammo, can't beat that.
+Phillip: Ammo tends to be scarce in arid regions.
+Phillip Deeznuts i have the crappy one that jams all the time
+The Noobinator have you tried contacting nerf? Their customer service is great and im sure they would send a weapon smith out to take a look at it, or send you a replacement.
Uzi's are so reliable they shoot without even having to pull the trigger!
It will probably shoot without magazine attached.
I have heard that the early uzi's would go off when dropped. In full auto with a full mag.... that would be a problem! Lol

As a Special Forces Weapons man, I found that the old WW-2, Korean War M3 and M3A-1, .45 caliber Greese Gun is the most reliable submaching gun that I ever fired. However everyone has their own view based on their experiences. The UZI is fantastic, as are many others such as the PPSH-41 / PPS-43, MP-40, MP-5 Series etc.
The M3 is a very deadly and simple weapon to use. That cues from Armorer experience.

Micro uzi pro: low damage, accurate when you use a stock, depends on what mag you have, has 2 attachments.
I was issued with a Galil and then the Glilon (shorter version) way back in 1987. It was really compact and great for travelling in too many bus trips. True reliability
FACTS
It only works once
The Galil has been my favorite gun since I grew interest in them. I knew the AK was reliable so an improved version (mostly extra features like the thumb switch and taller charging handle) had to be near perfect, the thing even has a bottle opener.
Used the AK5C (FN FNC) during my conscription in Sweden. Never had a malfunction. Truly an amazing firearm. Chambered in 5,56 and, the weight of the gun renders it more or less recoiless. Great gun.
I was called in to do lumpen next year. Let’s see if I get the AK5C or not but hopefully not the new one

*chooses Galil instead of AK for reliability* "oh boy, here we go"
Edit: for all of the replies stating "but the Galil is just an AK variant" yes, I know.
The joke was how the stereotypical AK guy is, that nothing but SPECIFICALLY the AK-47 is reliable and that a lot of AK guys don't even know that the Galil is basically an AK and from some of the deleted comments... I was right, there are about 30 that I can still see but that's just because I'm the original commenter so I can still see them telling me about how the AK and Galil is nothing alike and the AK so soooo much better.
I mean the ak can shoot untill the metal starts melting and the gun catches on fire but I'm biased so
You do realise the Galil is a gun built on the ak platform
Oh damn
J wish guns are bad quality
If reliability also includes accuracy, then RK or Galil would be more reliable while also maintaining the AK's famous ability to keep shooting under any conditions to a reasonable degree.
The Galil is based on the Finnish RK62 which is also a very reliable rifle.

I know I'm veeeery late to the party, but back when I did my military service I got closely acquainted with the RK-62, the rifle that the Galil was based on. This thing was older than me, had passed through the hands of countless conscripts who likely had no idea what they were doing, but it ran like a dream and I put countless rounds (both blank and live) through it without a single malfunction.

My son worked in a gun store for years and was responsible for the range. He showed me a big box full of all the rental firearms that were awaiting repair (which he told me no one ever had time to do). It contained pretty much every type of handgun. There was only one manufacturer whose handguns were not in the box - Glock. He told me they never even bothered cleaning them.
It was nice to see CZ 858 at the start and as well Remington in a review. I have both guns, and they are great. Galil as well is a breathtaking gun and one of the best assault rifles. Have been used Galil AR 5.56x45.
Think the galil is the perfect choice for this, taking the legendary reliability of the ak and just improving on it
Gotta love that you can open your bottle of coke too... Though I always thought a Russian SKS tended to be even more reliable than an AK. (all things being evil.) - just wonderin'.
+potatoradio AKs really aren't all that reliable in all honesty, they just run the same when oiled and clean or dry and dirty while being durable. A well maintained AR is way more reliable then an AK can ever dream of being (that being said, the AK will perform better if both guns are dry and dirty)
+Tuptmore3 when both are cleaned and well maintained the chances of either of them failing is so slim.
For a home defence/truck gun I wouldn't be worried to trust my life on an ar. But in a situation where it's being dragged through the dirt smacked up on rocks and generally abused I'd take an ak given the option. Again I think the difference is fairly slim tho and in 99.9% of the time the ar would get it done. the ar isn't guna fall apart when a grain of sand hits it like some slavaboos would have you believe and brings other benefits to the table over the ak.
Its the faith that if I pick up an ak that I am going to be able to make a bullet fly out the barrel almost every time no matter the situation that gives it it's reputation. That and its ability to function fully or partially in various states of brokenness ( not recommend though lol ).
IWI is making a new Galil so prepare your pocket book. I think last I looked they were going to go to market at around $1900.
Both guns run perfectly in all aspects when clean and maintained. However, being a much better sealed design the AR will run far better in extreme conditions like mud and sand simply due to the fact that it can keep it out. This is where guns like the New Galil ACE and the FN FNC make their salt. They have eliminated the huge ingress point left behind by the charging handle in the receiver.
In my years of working with machinery I have came to realize that the most reliable machine is the one with the least moving parts.

I like that you bring up Alaska when talking about the Galil. Rifles that get overlooked in the lower 48 are prized possessions up there. My bicentennial Ruger M77 in .30-06 won't turn any heads in most places...shooting slightly worse than 1 MOA. In Alaska however, it's renowned for it's durability and ability to run in the horrible conditions they often face. A sub-MOA rifle is useless if it can't work properly when you need it to.
That's true... I have a century arms P-14 .300 Win Mag, here in Utah and Montana shit gets cold also and while most of the rifles I've seen lock up.. That P-14 still hasn't.. But its reliability over accuracy in these environments.

You want hardware that works no matter what, go to the Israeli's. I hear even their bullpups, X99 and Tavor are also some of the most reliable in that catagory as well. Dont know if they can survive the tank squish test though.
Do you feel the guilt of fucking over Palestine?

is not only the palestinians who hate them. the whole world hates them. they've been thrown out of most countries in europe in the last 2000 years.
Hi there. Hope you'll see this. I wholeheartedly agree with all your choices, particularly the Galil. To add to your assessment of this assault rifle. I'd like to recount the following personal experience. I served in the South African Defence Force for almost 10 years and used the SA licensed R4 and R5 variants of the Galil. I found them to be indestructible. However, one particular experience brings the rifle's robust and reliable nature into stark focus.
During a domestic active duty stint in the early 90's we had a tent fire in our base. There were 3 R4 rifles in the tent at the time and as it was an active duty deployment, all three had full magazines on them. The fire was so intense that it cooked all the ammo off in the mags completely destroying them. The plastic fore grips and pistol grips melted off and the composite stocks crumbled off leaving only the knurled pins behind.
The next morning we took the rifles out, put fresh mags on them and all 3 functioned perfectly on single shot and full-auto. The hardest part of the exercise was getting the distorted and bulged magazines off them. Not even the thin stamped dust covers were compromised to the point of failure.
If ever there was a testament to the Galil/R series rifles' reliable nature, that must be it.
Thanks for a great video!
You know what, I was expecting to see the AK47, I have to agree with him on the Galil.

I can agree 100% with you on the Uzi, Mauser (7/57), Mossberg (shortened barrel with a Polychoke) / Remington and Galil (R4 /LM4 in 5.56) .. having used / owned all 4 in the Military and Privately .. magnificent weapons.
Just the Glock, having never used or owned one, I cannot comment but, based on numerous reports, would tend to support your contention thereon.

that Mauser 98 is so good looking
Ikr, it looks pretty damn neat. Definitely the kind of a gun i would like to hang on my wall in living room.
Mauser 98 > Mosin Nagant
Ethan - I prefer the Lee Enfield - in a combat situation the bolt can be worked faster - in WWI the Germans thought the Brits had more machine guns than they actually had, because of their rate of fire.
Truth Seeker problem with enfields is the ammo, ppu is the only cheap brand of .303 and that's still about 30$ for 20. Let alone finding them
jacob stebbing well you can just go and buy a mosin and 50 rounds for around 160 $ :P
I have my original Daisey 880 that has run flawlessly since 1985.
I had a second cousin, COL Walter K. Bennett, who spent his entire Army career in the 82 ABD. The first pistol I ever learned to fire was his 1911. It was quite an eye opener, after being use to shooting nothing by BB guns and .22 rimfire. When he passed away in 1984 he passed it on to me. I don't know how many rounds he put through it before he passed away, but I know I have put well over 5000 since then. In all that time I have had maybe 3 stovepipes and it was the ammunition not the weapon.
Great video, I pick the same as you but the submachine gun I will have to pick the CZ Scorpion Evo 3, and for the pistol; a Makarov PMM Soviet edition. I love the Makarov PMM because of the tough build, fixed barrel, hard slide and the floating firing pin. These two firearms I have mentioned, I have NEVER seen fail yet!
Mp5: look at me I'm so complex and good

Political Power comes from the barrel of a gun. (Mao Zedong)
Really fits the Mauser 98
Hahahhaa yes
Well cited but Mauser didnt discriminate who it sold its rifles to, including the adoring public. It is simply the best rifle, the German empire didnt pick and choose who Mauser signed contracts with.
brandon bentley true even we Colombians got a hold of them difference being we chambered ours in 30-06
loads really fast.
Well the meaning of the qoute is so far away from the role the mauser had. If the sentence would have fitted in this chase it should have read "Political power comes through trade relations". Mao Zedong was talking about how autoritary states keep their power.
Reminds me of a movie where I was firing a matchlock, with a double powder charge for movie effect (no projectile). One if them didn't touch off the powder in the pan. Lol.
I absolutely love my Remington 1100 however it does jam when I try to fully take advantage of the semi auto
Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable. And if it does not work? You and always hit him with it
If less moving parts are better, then the Makarov should be on this list instead of the Glock.
Agreed, I have run maks and clones for years and have never had a malfunction. I have also run Glock 19s and 17s over the same period of time and have had multiple malfunctions and failures, the Makarov is a better handgun, it is also considerably more accurate, but that's besides the point.
Small magazine
nah i think a hammer should be on the list tbh

Russain guns are the most reliable.
I wasn't for Glock myself. Then I bought one. The 21 gen 4 which is a .45acp. And ever since I shot it I was on board with team Glock. It's actually a very accurate and reliable option. My only issue is not much safety for it. Just the trigger. Thanks for the video!
Thanks this is usefull for my desings that i will not mention
I'd definitely put the Mossberg ahead of the Remington. I saw an 870 jam during a confrontation between officers and a violent street punk. Thankfully, it was the punk holding the 870.
My guys always wanted the 590s in the ARMY.
It's just a better shotgun all around.
Yep, the dual extractors that Mossberg incorporates makes all the difference. It's the reason why the USMC makes it their shotgun of choice, because if a Marine can't break it, no one can. Glad I chose a 500 over an 870.
Kilonoid
It's also a specific issue with the 870 as well. When inserting shells into it, if you don't do it perfectly, they have a tendency to pop back out. No clue why Remington has never corrected that issue.
+NGMonocrom At first, I had the same issue with my Mossberg, but I found with some Ballistol and firmly pressing the shell into the tube, I've never had a problem since. With the Remington, even firm insertions can still result in the shell popping out, which can be life or death in a given scenario.
Kilonoid
Exactly! It's something that I've heard other 870 users mention. That you can't correct the issue. I don't know, maybe a really good gunsmith could. But you shouldn't have to send off a brand new shotgun straight to have work done on it. With the Mossberg, you don't. Only reason I can see picking an 870 over it, is because an individual user actually prefers the location of the Remington's safety instead.
I agree with 2 out of 5, the Galil and the Mauser 98.
Pistol: CZ-75, Shotgun: Mossberg 500A1, SMG well yeah I have to agree with the Uzi too. Now I'm up to 3 out of 5.
Who cares what I think ? I do ! Haha.
I like it when people are polite about their opinions and aren't like
FUCK YOU ...... I LIKE THAT ...... and so on
Geez , Wyatt, I thought first I was in for a 'blast' from you. Phew !
Yeah, I don't know why some folks loose all control and curse the dickens out of somebody just because opinion don't align with theirs.
I figure we come to channels like TFB TV because we all like this sport, not to swear and curse on each other because we disagree. ( This is another reason why I put my real name up here, to show that I'm not afraid to voice MY opinion or make a comment.)
Thanks for you reply , I did get a chuckle out of it.
Just got a CZ-75 SP01 and I friggan love it. Call me converted!
Then Christopher, if you like the CZ75 Sp01, you will like the Grand Power line of pistols too.
The Grand Power K100 Target, is a great gun in 9mm with a semi rotating barrel, instead of the angle type in the other John Browning designs.
If you get a chance to shoot with one, try it .
Yes, of course,..that was a typo. Sorry, I usually catch those, but this one slipped.
Next time I will wear my glasses>
Cheers
Great video and ive only seen flock and Uzi so far
you should have added categories Bullpump, Automatic Pistol, Revolver and Battle Rifle to this list witch in my humble opineon would be the Steyr AUG, a close tie between the Glock 18 and the Stetchkin APS, the Colt Python and either the G3, the 308 size Golani R or the Zastava M76 / M77 DMR/battle rifle since the FN Fal had recognized troubles with sand and cold climate
The HK mk 23 in my opinion is the best most reliable pistol made. A bit bulky buy it has an unquestionable reliability.
I will always support the RK 62 as that was my service rifle and so the only legal full auto weapon i have shot.
Well, the Galil was made after the RK62 and was my service rifle so I support that! But I’m grateful Finland made the RK62, otherwise the Galil probably would never have been.
Greetings from over the pond!
@@codenamecordon Yep the Israeli galil kicked ass as did the Israeli fal actually I love all Israeli wepons and Israel itself. Rk62 was great also

“I’m sure most of my viewers own one or have at least shot one”
Is this something I’m too English to understand
In order to judge the most reliable weapons in each category it seems that you would have to carry that weapon with you every day for an extended period of time under various conditions and use it as necessary. This makes judging which weapons are most reliable very difficult in each category difficult. What I would like to see is if you wanted a country to lose a war which weapon would you take away from them? I've never seen this done before but I think it would answer a lot of questions in a different way.
