I wasn't ready to like this. I couldn't imagine how Roger could pull it off live with such little accompaniment. But her sure did. But I still love Supertramp.

What a special gifted man! This is the most beautiful music in the world. You can feel the love pour out of his piano, his guitar, his voice, his heart. Cream of the crop right here. Lovers in the wind, lord is it mine, only because of you, some of my favorites. I can not overstate how incredible Roger is. He must have been sent by God because only a God could stir my soul the way these songs do. When you got it you got it. He definately has it. Very few sing and play multiple instruments at this level of perfection. Every note is purposeful not to mention he writes it! Definately in my top 5 of all time list maybe top 3. Thanks for these songs Roger you are the man!

Love this song. Listened to Supertramp from the early 70’s as each album was released. Every one a masterpiece. Bring back lots of memories. Fantastic.

j'adore avec quelle faciliter Roger nos chanter avec le coeur des chansons qui traite toujours de sujets plus ou moins sensibles, je n'y résiste pas à chaque fois je craque. quelle belle grande voix reconnaissable entre mile tout comme les accords dès les premières notes je reconnais le titre. que je soit n'importe ou je reconnais la musique de Roger des qu'il passe sur les ondes je me précipite pour l'écouter d'autre que j'aime aussi "Surely"say coodbye" c'est un artiste fantastique et humain♥

This song reminds me so much of my Father I grew up listening to Supertramp w my Dad. My Father played guitar and, was brilliant w a 12 string. I always loved when he would play this song. Now that he's been deceased these past 8yrs. It's at times hard to listen to this song also Even in the Quietest moments. That was another Supertramp song he played perfectly. It's been 8yrs today and, I had to hear this song. And, I must say it made me feel saddened that he's gone but, I didn't cry this time. I listened sang along while watching my children play. As if my Father was here w me listening and, watching his Grandchildren play as he only ever got the chance to know them but, my 17yo. My eldest daughter remembers him.
The Lyrics from Even in the quietest moments perfectly describe how I feel about who and, what he was to me. " the music that you gave me. The language of my soul. Love, I want to be w you won't you let me come in from the cold.

It was a real surprise to hear that song played on that day. Roger Hodgson not only plays Supertramp's big hits, but also knows how to surprise his audience. The main surprise for me was when I first heard "a soapbox opera" played live, which is one of my favourite songs (just as "Crisis? What crisis" is one of my favourite all time albums, in fact). Wish he could play that song in Paris again on Friday night!

I always loved this song.
Roger's live version here is almost identical to the original version when he was still with Supertramp. But, he changed some of the lyrics in this one.
