Dude This Takes the CAKE for long distance portabote adventures. This is awesome. I took mine across our inlet - 3-4 miles. The seas were 2'. I still consider that one of the craziest boat adventures of my life. This is Great. Small Boats are More FUN!!
That boat of yours seem to handle better than my Valco 15 foot commercial grade aluminum with a 25 hp. We would be bouncing up and down in our seats and the hull would be pounding on each swell in that kind of sea. Be careful out there as no small craft is swamp proof.
I have a 10ft portabote and im afraid to take it on my local river let alone open sea 🤣 guess its more depensable than i thought! It just feels so flimsy lol
Had one could not destroy it... Took it out on the worst weather... 6 hp Nissan two persons on board and it planned. Because it flexed it never felt as if we had reached its limit.
Lol, I've had one of them silly boats in substantially rougher water, though the lake was not so open. Also the transom was rotten plywood. It's kinda like being the skipper of a bowl of jell-o.
@@gonzobongo6669 I'm sure the model I was in back then would have been fine if it hadn't been beaten up by so many people fresh out of college. LOL! Safe travels my friend! I hope your vessel carries you to glorious shores!
if a whale decided to jump and hit the portabote while eating fish nearby - you are swimming for your life to shore, hopefully not against the currents or wind.
Sorry no not responding sooner. Yes it can but it's better with just two. I have upgraded to a 14' Smartwave boat, I find it to a lot better for fishing and you are able to walk around the boat with out the floor wobbling.

It's beautiful place... water so clear...❤️❤️❤️
Only one rule in the ocean,...... If you can bail faster than the water is coming in, then keep fishing!!!
I'm impressed. I'd be afraid of being swamped. Surprisingly the bow rides high enough not to plow.

Thirst Fast they redesigned the transom in 2013, added stiffness to boat
@@gerardhaubert8210 That's good to hear! They needed it!
@@thirstfast1025 They redesigned the boat again in 2018, they have finally worked out all the bugs! I bought a 2021 model.
