Will a carburetor with missing parts stop the revival? Will she start for the First time in many years? What in the world has the "Ole Man" been up to? All these questions answered on this episode of RevStoration.

Enjoyed your vidieo...glad you are back.
Thank you John. We are happy to be back.
My daddy had a 65 2 door just like that, with a 390, a a P code car, this did this old boys heart good!
Chad, I know how well the 289 pushed this car... I know the 390 would move it. Glad it brought back some good memories.
Just watched! my dad had a 65 galaxie with a 352 4 barrel. my brother would flip the air cleaner lid so we could hear the old autolite when he punched it. love that car... smooth ride too! Thanks REV!
flipping the air cleaner to hear the air always gave at least 100 hp or it sounded like it. Thanks for sharing.
You don't talk to much. I love listening to you and your dad reminisce. I do the same with my son ever chance we get.
It's all about family, so long as God is the head of that family
Amen, Johnny.. we love the Lord and each other... So stories are going to be told and we do not mind documenting them.
@@RevStoration And I love that line, "Good Lord, what a Ford." That would make a great t-shirt with an old Ford pictured on it.
A couple of good ole boyz...I lived in Chattanooga TN for 40 yrs..in TX now..I miss the Southeast.
At least you are in Texas now and not California.. Thanks for watching!
David I am glad you and Nikki T are feeling better I have been praying for you both
Frank, thank you so much. We had a rough few days, but not too bad.
Great fun. Was perfect lunch hour viewing.
Thanks Brother!
Glad to have you back. Nothing sounds as good as glass packs.
I agree.
Was up thru your neck of the woods Monday. Had to pick up some soldiers at Bragg in Fayetteville N.C.. Always nice to come up that way. We used to live in Rutledge up till about 7 years ago. Glad y'all came through the ronna okay. One of my son's and his wife have it right now. they live in Dallas, Ga..

Thanos, thank you! We have enjoyed getting this one going!
Glad to see y'all are better missed y'all take care buddies keep warm an safe

Yep, the old man has it right, I always build a pit rather then a hoist. His basement idea is the perfect.
He is enjoying working on it and I know we will get much use out of it. Safer I believe..
So do Love your videos always good time God Bless have great day been praying for your family
Thanks Mary.
Griff Parker sent me here. I love my 60’s and 70’s Ford’s and other cars from back when. Greetings from Silverstreet South Carolina.

I did not know you all were sick. God Bless that you are all better.
Doing much better thanks!
Just got back to finish the video and I enjoyed it
Thanks Douglas.
Myself, I just enjoy the videos, most of us know you all are just shade tree mechanics like most folks and having fun doing these. I want more of the 65, I had a 66 with 390 back in the early 80's, still miss that car.
We are not certified to do anything but talk... We enjoy doing what we do and that is all that matters to us.
Glad you and family feeling better .....that 65 is great I'd clean that up and daily drive that for sure
We would love to get her moving again.
Glad you guys are back. 🙏
Thanks David.
Glad your feeling better I love will it start videos I can picture your dad's project when it's done keep up the good work and entertainment

Good to see you guys back.youall been in are prayer. That car is a great looking car
Thanks Donald.
Let's see her on the road! Another great year for that car!
We will hopefully get her on the road before too much longer.
@@RevStoration My only encounter with a Galaxie was a '65 fordor. It was white. I was in 8th grade; a high school friend bought. Memory has the engine as a 500 cid but I didn't know Ford made that big of an engine for cars. Anyway, we'd sit in in listening to Credence Clear Water Revival on the 8-track, which I think was factory installed. Great times!
As I sit here watching this episode, I gotta say something I enjoy the relationship between you and your dad and I love all the talking you guys do it warms my heart, and everyone needs to just shut up and let these people do their channel how they want to and Quit telling them how to do it ya all get your own UA-cam channel, and how they word things there's nothing wrong with how they do it, they are highly intelligent and remember country folks know how to Survive. And I miss the words of inspiration from the Lord.
Robert, Some have to say something and it is amazing what they come up with. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RevStoration yes sir I know, and they're the ones who don't care about if they ruin a good thing. I truly appreciate you and your family and I hope you don't let the comments sway you away from the original concept of this channel and it's originality. God bless you and your family.
Really glad your back i love to see you and ur dad get them old cars going and i hope you and your family are doin Well thank you lord
Thank you very much Doug... We are having fun working on these rigs again.
The fueI V was a true Sign of Love ! Gives new thought to the saying " Give it a Shot of Quick Start" Every mechanic is half Doctor half Dective.
Thanks for watching Blair.
Glad your back sir.
Thank you kindly
Rev the good Lord looks out for us.
Yes, He does.
That - was - cool, Good old Fords. ~ 💚 ~
Just a little love and she was ready to go again.
Love your videos God bless your family. Good lord love them old Ford's.
Thanks 👍
Glad back Rev :) and your dad today too also hope see more videos rolling to!
I hope so too!
That is one mean car, would love to see a full restoration on this. That exhaust is top notch.
Still sounds good after such a long time sitting.
Rev, that ole Galaxie is out of this world. You and your Daddy make a great team.
Thanks we enjoy working together.
Yes we definitely want to see more of this Ford. Glad to hear you and Nicki T are better. God bless you all.
Thanks Jerry.. we will have more of this ride for sure.
So glad you and Nikki T are better, Rev, we were all worried about all y'all here in Australia. Great to see you back.
Thanks Tim, we are back to the grind.
When I was a little boy the very first family car that comes to my memory was our WHITE 65 FORD GALAXY 500 ! My dad worked for Ford motor company up in Michigan until he passed . He was originally from South Carolina and would get a hard time from his southern relatives for loving his fords but he didn’t care.
Thanks for this video, it brought back great memories!!!! God bless and thanks for the great content ✝️👍🏻
Mark... this is one of my favorite videos that we have made..
I miss you guys so much I'm watching this 3 year old show.
I am sorry I didn't comment on your last video telling you how you should handle COVID. I assumed since you were an adult man, and your wife was an adult woman, who had lived some years taking care of yourselves and your family, that you would know what to do. LOL! People can be frustrating sometimes when they are not face to face. Glad you are all feeling well now. Thanks for the latest video.
Thanks alot... we all need guidance sometimes, but some people give guidance all the time, if it is needed or not.
I’m from Lamar county and seeing this brightened my day. I appreciate your channel and your hard work👏🏽.
Awesome Cameron.. Thank you for watching.. Great to know some more Georgians.. God Bless!
Once again awesome video brother man you show me a boat then I see water when's the fishing trip I guess by now you know I love to fish 🐟 and I'm so glad you and Nikki are better
You got that right, we love to fish too... I am thinking about buying a boat... fixing it... running up the river to Daddy's house and then fixing a car... Seem like a neat series.
@@RevStoration that would be an awesome video it to cold right now for me to get out for fishing it in the 20s in Indiana
Great videos. The lord has blessed you with some awesome projects. Stay safe rev.
Thank you, we have enjoyed making the content. Thanks for watching.
Rev, great to see you again. You look very well. So glad NikkiT and you are all better. Praise God. Super video. The Old Man looks to be very well also. Grandpas’ car fired up crazy fast! Man, unbelievable. I love Praise the Lord, it’s a Ford. One of your best, Rev. Deuces! Big Al.
Big Al, Thanks for checking up on us. We hope things are well with you. Thanks as always.
First of all glad the good lord looked out for you and you an your family are doing well 🙏 love your content people are going to be upset about anything anymore keep up the good work
Thank you for watching.
The ole man is a legend. Great to see you rev.✌
I agree.. He does what he wants, how he wants and I hope to grow up to be like him...
I love it and I love them ford's
Me too Roy! I appreciate you watching.
Praise be the Rev is back. Glad to see you, happy to hear that the fam is 100%
Thanks Mike... we are happy to upload another one.
That car sounds great!
Wayne, I agree. I was supremely surprised that it sounded that good.
@@RevStoration I like watching you and your Dad work together. It reminds me of my Father teaching me how to fix cars in the 70's. RIP Dad!
Hello you guys stumbled across you channel the other night about 10pm and was still watching at 6am. Watching you and your dad working on those cars take me back takes me back when I was a kid working on old cars with my stepfather before he died. Keep up the great show watching you from England 🇬🇧
Wow Lee! I appreciate you sharing that with me. We have enjoyed making the content and it has been a fun adventure with the family. Thanks for watching.
Awesome, glad y’all are better! You don’t talk too much. Hearing the stories behind a vehicle makes the video that much better. Keep up the good work and videos coming!
Thanks 👍 We enjoying documenting the whole adventure together.
Glad to see u happy and having fun with your daddy.. God bless you'll..
God Bless and Thanks for watching.
Another great episode !
Thanks David.
Looks like you found a great father son project! What a great bit of family history! Keep up the good work Rev!
I agree.. I think we would both like to see this rig on the road again.
Thumbed-Up, then hit play!
God Bless You Guys!
Great upload & Thank You!
Keep On Revstoring ‘Em!!!
😎
Thanks, we enjoying doing what we do.
Looking forward to seeing the carburetor fixed on the galaxy and it running better. I love watching you guys get this old cars going again
We are going to rebuild this carburetor back to spec and hopefully she will run much better.
Can't understand what possesses folks to be so critical or dad blamed hard on you fella's. Your Grandads' car is way better than most I see toolin thru this berg I live in. Great job gettin her to crank, start, and run at least for a few minutes. God love ya for keeping these classics alive.
We will put the work in now... she should be back to road before long.
Yes more of the 65! Love fords
We too Victoria. Thanks for watching.
Please bring the Galaxy back.
We hope to see her move around the yard.
You guys are awesome. As always you can't keep an old ford down. Your channel will grow more an more as it goes on. What a wonderful thing you an your dad get to enjoy with one another. As we journey through this old world until the day we depart it, to a beautiful place our God has waiting for us. I hope that you guys have many more years to come. An enjoy every minute of your lives together. Our time is short on this old earth. We know not when that day will come, an then it will time for our journey home to be with our lord in heaven as he has promised us. Have a great weekend an God bless. 😁👍👍
Thank you so much Richard. We agree and look forward to enjoying our adventures together... The Lord has blessed us and we serve Him with a smile on our face.
THAT is my fave of the cars you have at your Dad's there. 2 Door 65 Galaxie 500... Do a 7 Litre 428 Floor Boarder!! lmao There's not that much rust on that car! BTW... lol Floor Boarding. That's great [may have to borrow that for a Car song] ;-) I remember there was a 7L version if this the next street over when I was growing up in the 60's... Thrilled me every time I saw and felt it rumble up and rumble by out into the world :-)) Such cool cars with those stacked headlights like the Fairlane's :-)) Cool cool car... rather have one of these than a Mustang [and... hey.. a KR-500 Shelby... right up there with those] lol
Robert, Ive had the 7litre 66 Galaxie... Fun rides... thanks for watching.
Really glad that you guys are feeling better, we were praying for you. Enjoyed the camper video, but we missed y'all! Glad you're back!
Thank you so much!
It sure sound healthy! I think that Chevy Caprice should be next! Good show!
OCG - I have no idea why I haven't replied yet... We will enjoy on this car some more for sure... I think the Caprice will make an appearance before long. Thanks for watching.
Rev looking forward to more videos on this galaxy the sentimental value is behind the car I'd like to see you and your dad get in it together thanks for the videos keep me in your prayers Kenneth Mason
Kenneth, thank you so much for watching and commenting.
stay safe Yall from the UK
Thanks Tim.
Memories ... I had a factory 4 speed 390 police interceptor 4.11 gears.
Jim, this car needs a bigger motor for sure. Thanks for watching.
COVID...how ridiculous. Don't apologize for living the life the good Lord granted you. Do what you like (restore cars!) and don't worry about the SHEEP. They'll rant/rave about anything if you give them a chance. Thanks for what you do and I enjoy watching your videos. God Bless!
Thanks for your comment. I try loving on people and I probably care too much about what others think... UA-camrs put ourselves out there and I understand that commenters give their opinions. Just goes along with the territory!
My first car was a four year old 65 Ford .It was the “ big six” but it was the quietest six I ever had. Mine was plain but I took better care of it than I did myself and it was mint .Same powder blue. I now own a 62 Fairlane 500 .I’ve owned it for thirty years. I see a 64 parked next to the Galaxie.
Arnold, we got the Fairlane running in another video... Hopefully, more to come soon. Thanks for watching.
Get it road worthy! ;)
Matt, we are going to work on it and hopefully get it closed to road worthy with each step.. Keep watching!
Glad to see you got old girl running young buck God bless
More to come for sure.
I really enjoy the family stories as well as the vehicles. Thanks for sharing, and I am glad you've both recovered from covid!
Thanks Dave, we talk and record the process. I enjoy documenting the stories and maybe my grandkids will see it one day and smile.
What's the update...
Bring it back fellars them 302's are the stuff. Restore that old Ford.
Generate alot of power and fun.
Man I got a story for ya.... I just bought my grandfather 66 galaxie 500 back... He owned it since 1970 to 1996 when he sold it to buy a camper to go fishing at the beach... Well I found it and bought it back...still looks as good as the day he bought it...
That is awesome! I have owned a 66 too.. 352fe...
I like everything you all say and do, I don’t care what anybody says!!! Keep up the all good work!!👍🏻👍🏻
Loving it too... Thanks for watching.
Hey Rev. Didn't know y'all were sick because I hadn't been able to tune in for a little while. So glad y'all are feeling better though. My daughter had it but she's better now too. God bless y'all.
Stephen, it wasn't that bad on us... rough but nothing like some have to deal with.
@@RevStoration Glad it wasn't too bad on y'all. Just means the good Lord has more work for you here.
Yes love the car
Thanks
Shame on the UA-cam algorithm for not showing this to me when it released a week ago! That 289 sounds healthy, looking forward to updates Rev
I agree with the shame on the Algorithm.... My Daddy blew up the 289 and implanted a 302 in 1986... Thanks for watching.
The galaxie 500 is the first car i ever road in i just love the way the engine sounds when you go pass 70 miles per hour
I hope to get this rig going 70 miles per hour before long. Thanks for watching.
I had a 65 galaxy back in the day. Had a (390) in it, great car 👍
Classic.. I know the 390 pushed the rig on down the road.
Rev you don't have to defend yourself or the Ole Man from what people say in the comments. Just pray for them and keep doing what your doing. God Bless you all.
Thanks Charles.. I try to respect everyone position but sometimes it is difficult... I do need to just move on... Thanks for watching friend.
I just found this channel somehow. I like your fathers idea for an easy way to work on cars that’s a pretty ingenious idea.
It is actually the way everyone did it before they had hydraulic lifts.
Those old fords do start!
gas, fire, and timing... she will crank.
That sure is a beautiful piece of property your Dad has there in Georgia. And to be able to fish so close by that's amazing. That's also a great idea your Dad had about making that concrete block area you can drive cars in and work on just like having a pit in a garage only his is big enough for two cars. That engine sounded great when you fired it off. Thanks for sharing.
Larry, we love this little part of the beauty of Gods creation... we have enjoyed it for a long time. Thanks for watching.
Like to talk that's the preacher in you lol. Glad you guys are better, great video as always. Someone always has to say something negative but that's life keep it up bro
So true.. moving onward and enjoying the process.
great video cool old ford and of coarse OLD GUYS RULE ! all the best with the new shop keep safe
Thanks Robert.
Rev, I personally like you guys talking and the banter😬. 1985...wow! I was halfway thru High School! I feel old now! I understand your dad saying he has difficulty getting down now to do things. I am a disabled Veteran and my legs and back do not cooperate anymore😳. Glad you and your family are feeling better
Thank you very much. Im 40 and I am starting to feel it myself. Thanks for watching!
Glad you're better! And I'm still interested in the Chevrolet Caprice 😁
Thanks.. I do not know if he is willing to sale yet. Send me an email... revstoration@gmail.com
@@RevStoration yes sir
That was the old Ford I was waiting on, she really should be put back on the road!
She will make it back to the road before long.
That ole thing sounds like she wants hit the road! Nice job, guys.
Still has some life left.
