Great work Ryan and congrats on your run! That opening title sequence was definitely worth the extra few hours of work ;) Those trails look really nice and runnable, but I could see the loops being a little more mentally difficult.

Congrats, my friend! Was so relieved to hear you finished it. I wanted to stay and see you finish but I was wiped, cold and the dust got me. LOL "This might be my last one ever" you sure jumped into WSER and Hard Rock lotteries quickly.

Not having any pacers in my circle of family/friends is one of the big reasons I haven't even pondered doing a 100 miler. Maybe that's an excuse, but it is s scary distance!
Thanks for the content Ryan and congrats on your race!

Ryan -- Great determination to get it done. The very same day I was back in Cassoday, KS for the Heartland 100 again. I had a similar day you did -- aspired to break 22 hrs and ended up nearly 28 hours. It went way off track after 85. I just kept telling myself the finish line is getting closer. Funny thing is, bc of the time difference, you were finishing your hundred within minutes of me finishing mine. The suffering was shared for sure lol. Anyhow nice work. I still have to get back to IT100, especially since I live an hour away. Peace ✌️

Really sweet video Ryan. You really take us on the journey with you. You also have a really good feel for the music that you use. I am reminded, when I watch your videos, that the trail running lifestyle is by default a Stoic lifestyle. The discipline, process and routine that it takes to run trail is very much a Stoic approach to life. Well done.

yaaay 😊that’s evening viewing sorted. Almost 45min of a Ryan Clayton trail run. Hitting the like is a given 👍
To us European runners no pacers is the norm, so how was it for you Ryan? No race vest and I got the impression the CPs were close enough you could just carry one or 2 gels and a hand bottle?
AWESOME to see you finish, quite emotional and it still staggers me to watch you running at 90 miles +!! WOW!!! Such a tough athlete. Congratulations on another 100 finish ❤🎉

Super video, Ryan, you expressed yourself so well. I've been waiting for this and am not disappointed. Super familiar views from the route, as I've run the HUFF 11 times and the Glacial Esker once in that park. It's a terrific course. So glad your stomach behaved for you! Your planning on nutrition was terrific. Really interesting that laps 2 and 3 were the reverse experience of what you expected. Always a surprise, eh? I'll pass along to some others I know who ran the race! Glad to see you smiling in the wrap up!!!

So I was registered for this exact race, but an injury and getting Covid-19 a week before the race put me out. I have to admit it really crushed me not being able to even attempt the run, but seeing how you put your own DNF behind you and got back at it has been quite the inspiration.

Great video and congratulations on the run….. in the UK 🇬🇧 it is an absolute rarity having a pacer and having that self reliance has always been the case.. so I see a title with no pacer and it makes me giggle 😁… personally I think it’s purer without one but would never criticise 👍
