    @SkyDiverLynx You can check the website for prices and to locate your local distributor. Psycho Paint is combined with silicone pigments to paint onto platinum silicone pieces, so you will want to make sure the piece you are painting is platinum-cured silicone.

    @JorgeSTEELE It is generally easier to create darker colors on top of lighter colors, but we have seen hundreds of different techniques being used. It is possible, but might be challenging.

    Generally any size can work. I would recommend a fairly simple airbrush such as a Paasche H. Cleaning the brush out before the silicone cures is recommended.

    Our Rebound 25 silicone can be used to make the mold, then if you apply Ease Release 200 to the mold, You can cast another platinum silicone into it.

    You can combine Cast Magic pearlescent powders with Psycho Paint for an iridescent effect.

    It is important to thoroughly clean any grease or release agent off the model before painting. Acetone followed by warm water with grease cutting dishwashing liquid works well.
    Dry the model well because water prohibits cure.

    Our NOVOCS MATTE solvent will give a matte finish when combined with Psycho Paint. No sealer is necessary.

    I've been airbrushing for years. All kinds of paints from acrylic to urethan as well as mehron make up. I use dual action gravity feed iwata's mostly.
    I am curious about using silicone in my airbrush. I'd imagine even thinned it would still solidify and destroy the internal parts of my eclipse dual action. Is this why all the videos I see you guys are using an external mix airbrush? What also do you use to clean out the silicon? Is there even a dual action external brush made of good

    Prank idea:
    1- till a few days before a friends birthday
    2- make a cube out of silicone
    3- paint the silicone cube to look like a hyper realistic present
    4- make real presents with the same wrapping paper design as the fake
    5- watch as to their surprise when they try to open a soft box

    Hi, really great job. I tried to replicate it, with psycho paint 1A:1B and toulene 2part but something went wrong, the airbrush did not blow it....maybe too viscous? anyway do you use a specific nozzle diameter? maybe 0.02 is too little for silicone? many thanks

    Should I clean the silicone surface first before painting? And would you recommend Naphtha or Toluene as a cleaning agent?

      Depends on how many castings you need the mold for. Aljasafe is a temporary mold, whereas body double will hold up to multiple castings

    I just got my Psycho paint and am playing with it. I noticed it dried with a glossy finish. And it looks like the projects in your video also have a gloss or satin sheen. How to I get a matte finish? I mix it wrong? It also was more translucent than I expected with the pigment added (but not so with your lizard tongue.) ???

    I need to paint the rubber to be chrome. Is there a way to prep silicone to get other paints to stick to your silicone products? Or can this psycho paint help the surface and help other paints to adhere?

      No paint will stick to silicone except a silicone based paint like Psycho Paint.

      Correct. Normal acrylic, latex, or other paints will not bond to a silicone surface.

    I have just ordered some of this. The way i was painting is using the gel00 what i had left both parts a and b then toulene then pigment but i have found in places the paint is still tacky whats the difference in this compared to the way i was doing it? Also using airbrush.

      @@smoothon Thanks! Question can i use the pearl ex pigment for this one instead of the silicpig? Im planning on making a mermaid tail and paint it. And should i mix the solvent and Pigment on the B before mixing it with A. Thanks! Please enlighten me. I have read it somewhere

      We recommend mixing A and B and then adding the solvent. You would want to test any pigment for compatibility.

    you guys REALLY need a better demo, this one is a few years old and the paint job isnt that good to be honest. it REALLY doesn't show off just how amazing this stuff is (the SPFX mask does however) really amazing stuff this Psycho paint is. i remember back when i started working with silicone nobody knew how to paint it. then a few years later BAM we got Psycho Paint!

    Would this type of application work to paint/change the skin color of PhicenTBLeague 12" seamless figures? They are made out of some type of silicone. A lot of people use chalk or oil pastels to varying degrees of success and permanency but I'm wondering if this isn't the answer.

      You would need to combine Silc Pig Black with the Psychos Paint A/B mix, then brush it on. Are they platinum cured silicone?

      Psycho Paint will work only with platinum silicones. You can thin our Sil-Poxy adhesive with NOVOCS to paint tin silicone.

    Yeah but where can we buy toulene? It seems like many countries have forbidden its purchase. Is there an alternative we can just buy and use out of the box without buying additional stuff?

      It is best to paint a silicone piece with Psycho Paint within a couple of days of demolding. You may want to try Sil-Poxy thinned with naptha or NOVOCS Gloss.

    Is it normal the result is very sticky? Also, when rubbing it kinda firm, the paint comes off. Like it rolls up into tiny pieces.

    hi...I had try many different ways and ab to purchase and figure this paint ..I had purchase other items for molds before and always been very happy with the products and the result, ..im customizing 1/6 scale toys and they are made with some type of rubber ...close, if not softer that those found on sex toys ( to give you an idea hehe) I had try monster latex paint for airbrush ,they tell you is great etc etc but after spending an arm and a leg ( cause everything got destroyed) it didn't work ...the pain pill off and all the work out of the window ..looking to achieve a flat finish with a deep blue , like the one found on "mystique" x man ( that's what I'm working on right now) would some one help ?..if any one knows a way ?

      coleslayer1088 Toluene can be hard to come by. Since we filmed this video, we have released a product called NOVOCS that you can use with Psycho Paint. Xylene or Naptha will also work, and you can generally find these wherever paints are sold.
